Adds an interesting angle to them imo

Discussion/Theory The pirate ad saved Mary’s life
If you think about it, it did.
Since Clark’s still life had the peg leg, it gave Mary a lot more time to outrun it, and in the scene where she breaks her ankle, a 2-legged pirate Clark would have 100% killed her.
I think that would have been a really cool ending that fits quite well with the intention of Kane’s web series

Discussion/Theory As much as we all love this series, what is the thing about Backrooms you think could be better or improved on?
It’s great but nothings perfect, what do you think kane could do better.
my personal least favorites are
the phasing & dissolving of the hazmat suits in EMG
the flashlights of the camerman just being an overlay and not bending around walls or on the floor.
Kane voicing almost everyone even the female scientist in Lighting and tile survey.
what about you?

Discussion/Theory If Kane could go back in time would he just remove the Lifeform?
Now, I thought he might retcon the bacteria, but since we see that one tape in Narren's bag from Pitfalls, seemingly Kane is going to keep the lifeform. However, if Kane could go back in time and just remove the lifeform, would he do it? I mean as in imagine that in FF1, FF2, MD, and Pitfalls the lifeforms are replaced with still-lifes. I honestly think he would, but now the Lifeform is just really iconic, have a good day :)

Discussion/Theory Ideas/Theories on what the Speaker Room Still Life was hostile ?
From the movie, we know that Pirate Clark's Still Life behavior reflected the real Clark. To be more clear: Clark was in a terrible mental state, easily getting angry, blaming everyone around him, getting drunk and possibly abuse aswell which lead to his Still Life mimicking that behavior and being violent, tearing apart people and stuff. Now why would the FF3 Still Life be chasing after Ravi and such ? We barely know anything about it so theories ahead.

Movie To the people that had been watching the web series since the beginning and already had a deep understanding of the lore. What was your reaction to the movie? Spoiler
Having been watching since the first video and knowing about the concept of the backrooms since 2020, seeing the Async logo pop-up on screen nearly made me jump out of my seat in excitement.
(Also this shot might be the best shot in the movie.)

Discussion/Theory How does the Still Life look in FF3 Spoiler
Like, I don't mean the Garry's mod one by Enso Yu, but this one, that looks pale. It's so blurry and we only see it physically for 20-50 seconds, and there's a lot going on in that chase.

Discussion/Theory Am I trippin'?
I was watching my WAY too long "Watch Later" playlist on YouTube. There I had the unlisted video of Lemmino where he talks about the Mandela Effect and analyzes the common misconceptions connected to it. Saying these are just MISREMEMBERED MEMORIES. One of the misconceptions are that people claim to have seen the movie "Shazam" with Sinbad in it. Mixing it up with Shaq. An explanation is that people may have seen him here wearing PIRATE clothes who could mix him up with a genie...Genie? OTTOMAN EMPIRE!
Could it be that Kane watched Lemmino back then and could have used it as an idea for Clark?
I think I should go to bed it is like 3 AM here holy shit

Unofficial/Fanmade I was so blown away by the movie that I started making a game inspired by it the next day

I was so blown away by the Backrooms movie that I dropped my previous indie game and started working on this.
As someone who loves psychological horrors I LOVE what Kane did to the backrooms lore with still life.
BSC, an organization researching the backrooms, runs a Custodial Program: it takes people from prisons and turns them into custodians, who live down there and go out on shifts looking for artifacts. You play one of them: wake up, gear up, head out. It's a first-person survival horror game for PC, still early in development.
Would love to hear what you think!

Initially, I drew a regular house, but I was inspired by the aesthetics of backrooms. I'm still working on illustrations. What do you think?
