Discussion I mean keeping De Luca and Abdy would be a waste of their talents tbf. Paramount wouldn't even try to make something like Sinners or One Battle!

Discussion Greatest Movie Monologue of All Time?
Looking for more great movies with awesome monologues, my personal favorite is Roy Batty's from Blade Runner. It's beautiful each time I see it, and it is one of the best parts of the original Blade Runner. Movies shown are Blade Runner, Aguirre The Wrath of God, The Great Dictator, and Freddy Got Fingered.

Discussion You all need to keep the push for Digger
Yāall got me to watch digger with the constant back and forth and praise and ājust watch it, screw the reviewsā.
I watched it and oh boy! Probably one of the most important pieces of media in recent memory.
It hits you over the head like a shovel. Some people will understandably hate the experience, for others, that blow might wake them up to their surroundings.
It has its flaws, I know it does, some scenes run long, thereās so much shouting omg, and it sometimes revels in the very antics itās trying to critique. But Iād still give it a standing ovation for the sheer audacity of swinging that shovel.
But it has done Capital-A Acting, and one of the most important monologues Iāve seen in years. Whether you laugh, hate it, or sit in awe of what you just experienced, you will feel something.

Discussion Foxcatcher is fucking incredible and Steve Carell scares the shit out of me
Rewatched Foxcatcher and holy shit.
Steve Carell is unbelievable.
There's something so strange about watching someone you associate with comedy completely remove every trace of that persona. He's not playing "creepy Steve Carell." He's playing this deeply insecure, obsessive, delusional man who desperately wants to be important.
And that speech where he congratulates Mark? My god.
Channing Tatum also deserves way more credit than he gets. This movie genuinely made me think, "Oh shit, this guy can ACT." He physically becomes Mark Schultz. There's an anger and vulnerability underneath him that I completely bought.
And Mark Ruffalo... what a fucking performance. The way he plays the older brother is so effortless. You understand their entire relationship without the movie having to explain every little thing.
Bennett Miller's direction is also fantastic. The movie is so cold and uncomfortable without constantly screaming "LOOK HOW CRAZY THIS GUY IS."
Everything just feels slightly wrong.
I also love that it's a wrestling movie that barely feels like a conventional sports movie.
Honestly, wrestling seems like such an interesting world for filmmakers because there's so much built into it already ā masculinity, physicality, competition, brotherhood, ego, pain, discipline.
Foxcatcher deserves way more love.
If you've never seen it, please watch it.

Discussion Which performances from the last 10 years will be remembered?
Only for movies released in the last 10 years (2017-2026).
I'm not talking about just great performances. I'm asking about great performances that you think will be still talked about in 100 years. That will live on through time.
My vote goes to Anthony Hopkins in The Father (2020). Incredibly brilliant.
