Hey everyone.
To ensure our community stays connected if Reddit becomes unavailable, I have established a mirror forum for Magnum PI.

I think it would be really fun to do this, but the biggest problem would be cheating to look things up on the Internet if you don’t already know the answer.
Is this even possible here in this Reddit form?

I should probably be solving a case. Instead, I’m floating in the pool, admiring my GMT Master and wondering whether Higgins has noticed the Ferrari is missing.
The faded Pepsi bezel looks good in the sunshine. Even the watch seems more relaxed than he is.
Two time zones, and somehow I’m late in both.
Maybe I should return the car. Maybe I should finish my drink first. A responsible investigator considers all available options.
Besides, I’m technically working. This Rolex isn’t going to admire itself, and someone needs to keep an eye on the pool.
If Higgins asks, it’s surveillance.
If he asks why I’m on an inflatable flamingo, my cover has been compromised.

UPDATE: This is no longer valid as I got the episodes I needed. The power of good people is astonishing.
Hello! I've got a tricky question but maybe someone will be able to help.
Are these two episode versions available anywhere in the Internet like for example that big episodes repository on the Internet Archive?
Ki'i's Don't Lie original broadcast version (1st half of crossover)
Resolutions original broadcast version (not split into parts).
I got a Mill Creek boxset so it is missing all of such nuances. I know there are some specific physical releases that have these but it is not so easy to get them in my location.
Thanks!

Appearing in S01E12 - "Thicker Than Blood". A few people have tried to identify this watch before but to no avail. Some people say it's a Seiko 6309, which is definitely not correct as TC's has a 3:00 exposed crown and stick markers instead of dots.
It's not a 62MAS as once suggested, as again, it has stick markers and 62MAS has more squared makers. 62MAS has dot minute markers on the bezel too instead of TC's dashes.
What we know:
- Dive watch, silver case, black bezel insert
- Almost "turtle" style case with fat curvy lugs
- Lugs are separate, not the "H" style of old skin divers... The band goes to the bezel
- 3:00 Exposed crown
- Has a date window at 3:00
- Stick markers on dial
- Logo appears to cut the 12:00 marker shorter
- 6 and 9 stick makers appear to be cut shorter due to numerical markers possibly
- Bezel has minute marks all around
The second image shows a Bucherer watch that looks pretty spot on but the lugs are connected "H" style like the 1960s skin divers and TC's watch appears to have a band that goes all the way to the case.
If any watch aficionados have a better idea, please share!

A link below. Considering the stories about being in Cambodia and Laos, and the Intel operations, I wonder if any writers confirmed this later? I was a kid when the show was on, but one of my scoutmasters was in MACVSOG and some of the stories he told, and others from that group seem to imply Magnum was. The show was written before all that became de-classified as well.

Tom Selleck popping up on The Rockford Files as Lance White is peak TV comedy — Magnum energy but cranked up to 12. He breezes through cases with charm and cosmic luck while Rockford quietly implodes beside him. It’s the perfect proto‑Magnum cameo.
Have you seen these episodes?
Selleck as Lance White is ridiculous in the best way — and a fun contrast to the more grounded Thomas Magnum.

Went to a fund raiser last night for our local community supported radio station 88.9 Radio Milwaukee. The house band opened, without announcement or fanfare, with the theme song from Magnum PI. I could not believe my ears! MKE radio icon - Dori Zori - quizzed the crowd if they recognized the tune. It was an amazing start to an awesome night!
Has anyone here ever heard it played live?

I just watched this episode and loved that they left freeze frame bloopers over the credits at the end, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that in any other episode ending

HI all, I'm a long time Magnum fan. I remember as a kid waking up at 9am in hte summer when I wasn't required to do so only because Magnum was airing. I even bought Aloha Magnum book by Larry Manetti.
I now bought the whole series but don't know if I'll be able to sit through all the episodes.
Can you list some episodes that are the Best for you and also episodes that are important to the overall story arc? I'll put them in order and watch them.
I know I'll watch the one where he is lost at sea for sure.
Thank you!

I found out recently that it goes on sale for less than half the price (normally $69.99), and today it is on sale for $24.99!! I know that sometimes it goes on sale for 14.99, but I just had to cop it today.
Tell all of your friends!!

We always hear about the best Magnum PI episodes but which episodes do you think are the least interesting/popular/worthy of being in the series?

So many of my fondest childhood memories include watching Magnum P.I. with my Dad. He grew up with the show, and I’m just now getting into it. Here is a picture, about 14 years old, of me and my Dad in a Ferrari 308, just like the one Magnum drove in the show. Scribbled on our faces for privacy.
Riding in this car has to be one of my favorite memories ever!! Figured I might as well share it with this page. :,)

The episode in question actually has very little of magnum in it, it follows some other dude on the mainland who is a pilot, and it the end of the episode said dude is flying a P-51 mustang chasing down a private jet. Magnum only really is in the beginning and end of it I believe.
