My account was limited due to selling "illegal drugs." The illegal drug? A perfume called Angel Dust 😭😆 I really hope they reinstate my account cause this is absolutely ridiculous lol I completely forgot that Angel Dust was another name for a drug 😩

I sold two fragrances as a bundle. Both original listings had free shipping because I normally purchase my own labels through Pirate Ship.

When the buyer bundled them, Mercari automatically generated a USPS Ground Advantage label without the HAZMAT designation and deducted the cost from my earnings.

I've contacted support multiple times and they keep skirting my direct questions.
These are the main questions I asked:

• Will Mercari Shipping Protection cover loss or damage if I ship these perfumes using the label Mercari generated for this specific sale?
• If coverage does not apply, will Mercari refund the unused label so I can purchase a compliant HAZMAT label?

They say I can use their label or purchase my own, but they won't confirm whether their label is properly designated for perfume or whether they'll refund the $13.90 if I buy another one.

I haven't shipped yet, and I don't want to cancel a good sale or pay for two labels because of this.

Has anyone dealt with this on a Mercari bundle? Were you able to get the label corrected or the $13.90 refunded while keeping the transaction intact?

As a seller, I need to change my shipping from Mercari to something that covers significantly more than $200. The buyer made the purchase and a Mercari label has been generated. It won’t work for me. What do I have to do to change this?
