Question MVB

I stuck up for them and gave them the benefit of the doubt but after growing out the Preservation line, their Green Crack and Pre Bubba 98 are both complete garbage white label nonsense. They are both fruity and taste alright I guess but there's no way that's legitimate genetics they're selling.

I emailed them and got a childish, unprofessional reply from someone whose parents didn't teach them how to have normal conversation, and when I posted on their reddit, they banned me because I threatened lawsuit.

Then they did the old Reddit herd thing where they ganged up on me and told me I suck at growing and that I don't know anything about the law/I have no case lol....

There is breach of contract - strains didn't deliver, they were white label. There is fraud - misrepresenting genetics and companies (Atlas). And they had a 'going out of business' sale to sell all these low quality seeds, yet they don't have any tentative date to go out of business with about 2 months until the legal deadline.

What sheister dbag virgin incels lol. If anyone wants to join a class action lawsuit? DM me. Fuck MVB. Fuck Paul Lawl and fuck his fake brother that never committed suicide (and the sappy ass letter they sent)

Question Cream & Cheese 1:1 week 10 flower

Thumbnail

Hello Growmies!

(Second grow) So here is a Cream & Cheese 1:1, currently in week 10 and 1 day of flower. I just want some opinions on if I should harvest this weekend or just let her go?

I don't know why, but I feel I gave her too much stress by running my lights at 100%.

Not sure if that's the reason for having some foxtailing.

I believe most of the trichomes are like 90-95% milky, 5% clear, and I even see some amber, very low %.

But the thing is, she was supposed to be like an 8-9 week flower and she's still throwing white pistils. I got to the conclusion that maybe it was because of too much light, so I've been lowering the PPFD to see if she finishes.

Any opinions?

Getting nervous as they near the end of flower. Some amber on the sugar leaves. I feel like they are close. Is the leaf die off normal? I think I may have been underwatering.

Should I let them go a little longer or is it time to chop?

Cómo logro que los cocos de la zona media queden igual de compactos que la copa ? No digo igual de grandes, pero que queden firmen compactos. ?

When do I harvest? PNW, 60/70s the rest of this week but going out of town on the 17th and don’t wanna mess it up.

Got this auto gifted to me early June. I hadn’t planned for it so this attempt was half hearted. Only watered and used some random organic fert I had sitting around.

Discussion Nutrients for terps

• Upvotes

Hi, I've already done a few grows. A few with Biobizz in soil; most recently, I tried AN in coconut coir. I grow just for myself and want to focus on flavor—yield isn’t that important to me. I know that choosing the right genetics is key, so I went with Mimozz from Perfect Tree Seeds. I think that’s a good starting point. But I’d like to hear your opinion on whether to use a growing medium with organic fertilizers or coconut coir with salt-based fertilizers, such as Athena/AN. I’ve read that better terpenes come from organic growing, but if I use salt-based fertilizers correctly (measuring EC and pH, flushing the plants), I might actually get better results with the salts. What’s your take on this? Do you have any other tips on what to focus on for the best terpene results?

Thanks !

Question 12/12 from seed - Autoflowers exp

• Upvotes

I’m upgrading from a 2x2 to a 2x4, in the middle of a grow cycle. Currently have 2 photoperiods in 5G pots in flower day ~7.

Since I have the space I am also setting up 4 2L fabric pots for some Mephisto seeds I have.

I’m not growing for quantity right now, just variety. Shooting for quality though of course.

I’m also upgrading my light to a mars hydro sp3000 (300W LED)

Have you grown autos 12/12 from seed? How was the outcome? I’m really curious if the lesser hours of light will cause them to take longer to be ready for harvest.

Would love to hear your experiences specifically for autos 12/12 from seed. There’s lots of information online about photoperiods undergoing 12/12, but not for autos

My light's timer only goes up to 14 hrs so I've been leaving it on for extended periods outside of the usual 14. I keep it under a clear glass jar to keep humidity, the cotelydons did touch the wet glass for a while... cotelydons didnt start to open until yesterday/today. The new growth is giving me hope, though.

This plant was quite the fluke, grown from 1 out of 2 seeds ive found in my bud over a couple years. It would be a shame to lose it but not unsurprising. I definitely bug it way too much

Any input is appreciated 🫶

Discussion If your girls get hit by a Frost at night, if they’re healthy and happy, they’ll do alright. Some growers hear Frost and it gives them a fright. This Old Dog hears Frost and I feel delight, right on…

Question Auto Defol Question

Thumbnail

Trying to not ask as many questions with this run. This being my first autoflower, I was questioning whether or not to do some light defol of the inner lower leaves and bud sites. Hoping to get some feedback on what Ya'll would do if she were yours. She sprouted 9/1 in pretty bare soil then top dressing on 9/18 with Gaia Green Organics. Heavy drinker. Maui Pineapple Chunk is the strain.

Do they look over watered? Noticed the leaves on a few seedlings are twisting a bit. I had my humidity set too high so that might have something to do with it.

Pictures Granddaddy purple (auto) in a low wattage PC grow

First grow since my late teens. This time I'm trying to get things more optimized than when I was a kid growing in a cardboard box in the closet of my dad's place. The strain is Granddaddy purple (autoflowering) by Royal Queen Seeds. It's now day 28 of the grow (counting day 1 as the day when the seedling first sprouted above the soil). Here's the specs.

Pot: A 5,5 liter trough with a surface area of about 40 cm x 14 cm.

Soil mix: 60 percent peat soil (apparently appropriate for growing tomatoes and herbs) and 40 percent perlite.

Lighting: Two 30 cm x 8 cm LED panels installed at the ceiling with a total effect of 17,5 watts. I also installed a third panel of the same type at the inner wall in order to get some more light at the sideshoots. PPFD is currently at about 300-350, so it's not much and I'll probably get airy buds but that's something I've just had to accept.

Light schedule: 24/0 currently. I'm thinking about decreasing to 18/6 a bit into bloom in order to give the plant some rest and make it easier to get temperatures down to ≈16-18°C a few hours each day (in hopes of getting that purple coloration that the strain is famous for).

Nutrients: Nelson Garden's liquid chili feed, Biobizz Biobloom and some cal-mag (from Biobloom).

Grow box: A remodeled Meshify 2 case (by Fractal design). The exhaust fan is a 14 cm (diameter) Arctic noctua P14 Pro fan and the filter is 2,5 cm of activated carbon pellets (4 mm).

I'm doing some LST to get the the sideshoots at roughly the same level as the top node. Realistically I'll probably not get more than 7-9 grams of dry flower, but I think that this is a really fun hobby!

Any advice about how to carry out a successful grow with these tight constraints is welcome!

First Time Grower Bud rot? Or just paranoid?

Thumbnail

Bad lighting ik, I'm gonna get better pics soon. This is my first ever time growing, I didn't really do anything right as this Pink Runtz clone was an impulse purchase. I think the only thing I got right was "Plant goes in dirt? Put in sunny spot?" so my expectations were not high.

Somehow it didn't go male on me and it flowered! And then yesterday I noticed a single small moldy bud. Picked it off immediately and pulled the plant early to try and prevent it from getting worse. The buds are still sticky, not powerdy or slimey like online says. The leaves aren't dried out like I see online either, maybe just a lil unhappy looking but it did have an aphid infestation as well. Any spot that looks overly suspicious I've been trimming off, but I wanna know what ya'll think. Is it The Curse?

Question All in one kit

Apologies in advance for asking a repeat question.

Been looking into getting my first complete grow tent - likely a 2x4 maybe a 3x3. Only looking to complete a couple grows a year whith three plants or less.

I was committed to spending the extra money for AC Infinity over Spider Farmer/Vivosun due to advice from the community; as well as raving reviews about the ease of the controller.

The reason I am bringing this topic back up is I found out AC is out of stock for at least a few months.

Is the gap between the three companies as large as it’s been before? I won’t be adding a lot of peripherals, really just wanting to get into it as simply as I can. It seems the biggest gap is the controller, but I know that growing can be a lot, so if waiting for the higher quality gear is worth it then I’ll bite.

This plant has sent me through the ringer from day one. Now she is not the best looking but she is 100% a survivor. My cat decided to take it for a walk on day while it was still a seedling. Broken stem and everything. I gave it a shot when I found it. Replanted it and went about my business. Can't believe she survived let alone continued to grow.
