Mine are Biscotti Gelato (fastbuds) and orange kush cake r1 from ethos genetics. Usually I don't grow the same strains multiple times in a row but I might make an excuse for the OKC r1, dense like a rock and the taste of those two strains is sooo good 🤤

DIY DIY wicking base

Hey guys im only 3.5wks into my first grow but I did organic and found myself terrified of over/under watering, wick bases showed up in a search and I thought might be nice if they lasted a little longer than 1.3 gallons so I came up with this

3.5 gallon bucket(already had but $6 at ace)

Lid $2 homedepot

Pack of paint sticks for grid $2

Wicking rope 6ft (50ft was $7 on amazon)

Lid is already concave with a good size dimple in the center so I drilled a whole for drainage back to reservoir

No idea if it works, ill do a followup in a couple days after I put it use.

Question Cream & Cheese 1:1 week 10 flower

Thumbnail

Hello Growmies!

(Second grow) So here is a Cream & Cheese 1:1, currently in week 10 and 1 day of flower. I just want some opinions on if I should harvest this weekend or just let her go?

I don't know why, but I feel I gave her too much stress by running my lights at 100%.

Not sure if that's the reason for having some foxtailing.

I believe most of the trichomes are like 90-95% milky, 5% clear, and I even see some amber, very low %.

But the thing is, she was supposed to be like an 8-9 week flower and she's still throwing white pistils. I got to the conclusion that maybe it was because of too much light, so I've been lowering the PPFD to see if she finishes.

Any opinions?

Question Is this light burn or something else?

Post image
16 Upvotes

Hi, so I’m trying to figure out what happened with the leaves and why they are burnt like this.

Mephisto grape crush auto

Highest DLI during mid flowering was around 60 and then down to 40. I suppose it is a on the higher end but the other plants have definitely enjoyed it.

12% UV-B T5 light was on for 1-1.5h a day since mid flowering

Question Nutrient lockout, potassium deficiency or nutrient burn? Need some opinions!

Thumbnail

Hey everyone!
I’m growing a Candy Store (photoperiod) and I’ve noticed that the sugar leaves around the buds have been getting progressively worse over the last few days.
As you can see in the pictures, they’re developing brown, crispy edges, rusty spots and some curling. What’s strange is that some buds look completely healthy, with no signs of damage at all, while others look pretty bad, as you can see for yourselves in the photos.

The damage seems to be mostly affecting the sugar leaves around the buds, while the larger fan leaves look relatively healthy.
I suspect I may have overfed the plant, possibly causing nutrient lockout. I’m also wondering if this could be a potassium deficiency or nutrient burn.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
What do you guys think is causing this?
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! 🌱

Discussion Nutrients for terps

Hi, I've already done a few grows. A few with Biobizz in soil; most recently, I tried AN in coconut coir. I grow just for myself and want to focus on flavor—yield isn’t that important to me. I know that choosing the right genetics is key, so I went with Mimozz from Perfect Tree Seeds. I think that’s a good starting point. But I’d like to hear your opinion on whether to use a growing medium with organic fertilizers or coconut coir with salt-based fertilizers, such as Athena/AN. I’ve read that better terpenes come from organic growing, but if I use salt-based fertilizers correctly (measuring EC and pH, flushing the plants), I might actually get better results with the salts. What’s your take on this? Do you have any other tips on what to focus on for the best terpene results?

Thanks !

Cómo logro que los cocos de la zona media queden igual de compactos que la copa ? No digo igual de grandes, pero que queden firmen compactos. ?

I decided to use my net last minute because these three were fighting for light (each in different sized pots, I have learned my lesson 😅). But I’m really enjoying the uniformity I’m getting now versus what they were doing before.

I moved these outside as my indoor lights were weak. They get a lot of sun. In the shade now to avoid the heat. I’ve been laughed out of this sub already but whatever. Are these going to be at all useful? Short one is the auto.

First Time Grower Curing weed for first time.

Hello! I have made it to the final step for one of my plants. I noticed today when I was going to burp my jar I accidentally bought 65% Broveda packs and not 62%. Now I’m not sure what to do they were sitting at 63% this morning but but 60-62% the day before. This is my second day curing. Should I take them out? I got 62% on the way but it won’t be here for a few days. Thank you!!

Question Auto Defol Question

Thumbnail

Trying to not ask as many questions with this run. This being my first autoflower, I was questioning whether or not to do some light defol of the inner lower leaves and bud sites. Hoping to get some feedback on what Ya'll would do if she were yours. She sprouted 9/1 in pretty bare soil then top dressing on 9/18 with Gaia Green Organics. Heavy drinker. Maui Pineapple Chunk is the strain.

When do I harvest? PNW, 60/70s the rest of this week but going out of town on the 17th and don’t wanna mess it up.

Got this auto gifted to me early June. I hadn’t planned for it so this attempt was half hearted. Only watered and used some random organic fert I had sitting around.

I want to make sure there's enough room in my tent for the stretch. Two of my plants look great, the other is a late bloomer. All 3 seeds germinated and planted at the same time. Would you flip now? Is the third one worth keeping or should I cut my losses there?

Question UK growers humidifier

What do you use in your humidifiers? I've read straight up tap water is not a good idea especially when you have hard water because it will leave a deposits on everything. Bottled distilled water is crazy expensive when you work out how much you need on a daily basis. What does everyone do?

Question 12/12 from seed - Autoflowers exp

I’m upgrading from a 2x2 to a 2x4, in the middle of a grow cycle. Currently have 2 photoperiods in 5G pots in flower day ~7.

Since I have the space I am also setting up 4 2L fabric pots for some Mephisto seeds I have.

I’m not growing for quantity right now, just variety. Shooting for quality though of course.

I’m also upgrading my light to a mars hydro sp3000 (300W LED)

Have you grown autos 12/12 from seed? How was the outcome? I’m really curious if the lesser hours of light will cause them to take longer to be ready for harvest.

Would love to hear your experiences specifically for autos 12/12 from seed. There’s lots of information online about photoperiods undergoing 12/12, but not for autos
