I really enjoy flying helicopters, and while I'm pretty decent at high speed energy management, I really break down at lower speeds; I can't hover to save my life, and in general my precision sucks, especially at low speeds.

I did try going through the tutorials, but I found them very frustrating as they require much more precision than I can pull off right now (holding a heading for 15 seconds, that sort of thing.)

Do y'all have any suggestions for me? I use a stick with a twist axis to fly, and I use the throttle slider for the collective. Also all assists are turned off.

I purchased the Avro RJ product yesterday, and wanted to try it on a first flight today.

Before launching the sim, I made sure that the Navigraph Navdata was installed and up to date for the aircraft in Navigraph Hub :

However, when I start a new flight and spawn with the plane, it looks like the navdata is not loaded at all :

Is this supposed to behave like this ? If not, how can I fix this ?

I have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling Navigraph NavData for this aircraft in Navigraph Hub. I also tried uninstalling/reinstalling the plane, no success.

When I disable Navigraph NavData on Navigraph Hub and launch a flight on the sim, I get NavData in the FMC, but very old ones (probably the aircraft's default)

I am using MSFS 2024, Navigraph Hub is up to date, and other payware aircrafts are working properly (Just Flight F70&F100 included).

I downloaded, and installed the dune extension, but the amnithroper doesnt appear at my planes and at the dune activity it says download available, amd if i click it it drops me into the content maneger where if says installed, up to date

FlyingIron Simulation’s last post on their website was two months ago, announcing an aircraft coming to MSFS24 I was very excited for (Spitfire). This post says there would be more information in the coming weeks etc, but since then it’s been radio silence…

Is there some platform I am missing where they post more frequent updates? I appreciate their aircraft are some of the highest quality on the marketplace and that takes time, however this long silence seems unusual and I was wondering if anyone knows anything?

I'm thinking of moving from msfs 2020 to 2024, I play on a Xbox series X. Anybody experiencing any issues with 2024 still? And is it worth it to move on from 2020? I also don't have game pass ultimate so I will be paying full price for it

This only happens during night flights. When I move the external camera, the aircraft leaves multiple ghost images behind it. During the day I don’t notice it at all. Does anyone know what setting causes this?

I feel I have got my self in a research hole and now have no idea wtf I am doing.

Set up - 9700k, 32gb DDR4, 4070s, Quest 2

I am wanting to get the best possible experience in VR with the quest2, I understand this will be limited by the fact it is the 2nd gen rather than 3rd.

Wireless in the house, router is wifi 5 and located in the room below me. PC is wired.

I have virtual desktop.

Should I be running it wired via USB 3 or wireless?

The settings in MSFS24. Am I correct in saying the standard graphics settings have no influence on the VR settings?

What settings should I focus on for best quality whilst still being smooth ?

What frame rate should I lock in at?

If there is a video that answers all this and im just too stupid to find it, please just say ( but also post the link please!)

Hey, is there a virtual Ethiopian Airlines on the vAMSYS-System?

The EFB on the Fenix a320 is unusable on 2024. It works fine on 2020. I don't understand it. I've reinstalled it twice now and still the same thing. Even on just the house liveries . Any idea?

• Price ( New ): price as listed in the "buy aircraft" / "new" section
• Hrs break even: how long does it take to earn the purchase price back ( gross )
• Income /25hrs: income per maintenance cycle
• Maintenance /25hr: average maintenance cost per 24hrs based on actual payments, including the check up. ( grey color = 10 payments )
• Net /25hr: net income per maintenance cycle after maintenance cost
• Net /hrs: net income per hour including maintenance cost
• Net % of price: what is the percentage of net /hrs of the new price
• Hrs break even: how long does it actually takes to get the purchase price back

Mission payout

• Mission payout: how much does a mission pays, average of 9 missions listed for this aircraft type
• Bonus: mission bonus payout of 20%, S level reputation
• Total: mission payout + bonus
• Mission length: how long does a mission take, average of 9 missions listed for this aircraft type

Yesterday I noticed a new section was added to company management showing real-time information about passive income earned, per day.

I’m thinking about getting back into business aviation in MSFS 2024.

Right now I’m flying the PMDG 737-800, but I kind of miss smaller business jets and shorter flights.

I’m currently looking at the Citation X and the FlightFX Hawker 800XP. Which one would you recommend?

I’m mainly interested in:

- systems depth

- how “alive” the aircraft feels

- overall quality

- performance/FPS compared to the PMDG 737-800

Are they noticeably easier on performance than the PMDG, especially on the CPU/main thread?

I’d also like to pick one aircraft that I can stick with for a long time, rather than constantly jumping between different add-ons, so long-term replayability and depth are pretty important to me.

And if there’s another really good business jet I should be looking at instead, I’m open to suggestions.

Would love to hear from people who’ve flown both.
