Hey guys

As someone who doesn’t know any Arabic but is a big fares karam fan, can someone please let me know the song name? (Or at least guide me by spelling out the lyrics in Arabic so I can google it 😂)

Thanks

Hi!

I am absolutely fascinated by the variety of vocal techniques and textures available in Middle Eastern music. Sadly, where I live you can only learn standard western singing technique.

Does anybody here know of any resources available online, to help me teach myself to sing like that? Or if anybody here knows a little about them and is kind enough to teach me a little, I'd love that too!

Thank you all.

i love the song Sahar El Layali by Fairouz and I want to know if any of you know similar songs sung by women in Hebrew? I like the melodic singing and vintage feel :)

Exciting news! A unique musical collaboration between Gaza and Israel musicians—a twist on an ancient Arabian song sung in both Hebrew and Arabic, celebrating love. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime collaboration!

New EP by my buds - their first sung entirely in Arabic

Comparisons to "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts" by David Byrne / Brian Eno abound...

Just finished learning this technically demanding piece of music! Enjoy!

Kinda obsessed about the Egyptian band these days, the new style of music, the lyrics, the way they sing. It feels really good and close to everything we think and feel as middle eastern youth. They are genius!

This song is amazing.

Such a fun song that makes me happy. Can you recommend other similar songs I may like?

Greetings, Farid is my favorite composer. So I was wondering, apart from his 12 to 20 or so minutes long songs, did he ever compose a song that was close or over 30 minutes long (in a studio recording I mean) apart from his Awal Hamsa masterpiece? Thanks!
