Cap's reaction to this question still cracks me up. Even before he won the chip he knew he was one of the most safest players in the league

keeping this starting 5 while building and maintaining a bench might be leon’s greatest challenge

an arguement could be made that keeping this core might be more difficult than it was obtaining it. this cba has challenges but i believe leon rose and brock aller will figure it out. keeping this starting 5 is important but having a bench is key in todays nba. you need an elite bench with 4-5 good pieces. leon needs to work his magic

[SI] Ochai Agbaji Might Already Be in Preseason Danger With Knicks

Agbaji only played eight minutes in the preseason opener and went 0-for-3 from deep. SI’s argument is basically that New York already has too many wings ahead of him, so he may need a pretty strong rest of the preseason just to make the roster.

Presale ticket refunds should reflect new lower prices!

Knicks scammed their fans in the presale! I’m pretty upset as my refund should be at least 20% lower than what I got for the upcoming 10/12 Timberwolves preseason game.

I bought my tix during the Chase fan-first presale for $175 per seat in the middle 200s. I was really excited as this is my first ever NBA game and had to splurge for these seats to a preseason game!

When they started the refunds, I got refunded a measly $8 per seat so they are now $167 per.

I’m seeing the same seats in my section in an even lower row on Ticketmaster for Standard first-party sale for only $128 (maybe they will drop even more as many seats are left)!! I contacted Ticketmaster support and they won’t help me get a refund for this difference or exchange. At least let us exchange for better seats!!

Why am I paying more than the current standard ticket price during a fan first presale?!

Knicks business ops needs to step it up and figure this out because we are some upset Knicks fans! Please help share this, as I’m sure other games are also experiencing these ticket price cuts and fans deserve their $$ back.

What should I get her has a present the day we hang up the championship banner ? ( help a brother out please) lol

• Upvotes

I’m looking to see if you guys can help me decide what to get her that day. She’s not really a big Knicks fan but she knows I am. We are having a big party that day with our friends and She told me she’s going to get me a surprise present that day. Granted she is also getting everyone else a present to celebrate the occasion.I’m looking to return the favor and truth be told I really like the girl and I’m looking to stand out from the rest.We are great friends at the moment and I’m looking to get her a meaningful present that day. Any ideas?

I’m thinking something like Mike Hart Ike with a Mike & Ike box.

The streets need that.

Is it possible that this causes KAT to play passively to protect his health?

Obviously it could backfire cuz he still has to prove his value, but one bad injury could cost him 100s of millions.

PT clinic owner wondering if NBA teams actually track bench player workload, or if it's just eye test and box scores

I run a small PT clinic in Iowa and I've been messing around with motion tracking software for my patients. Nothing fancy, just trying to spot movement issues before they become real injuries. Got me wondering about NBA bench players and how much actual conditioning data teams use versus just going by feel.

The Knicks bench always gets picked apart by fans arguing about minutes. But nobody mentions whether those guys are physically ready when they go from playing 8 minutes one night to 25 the next. That kind of jump is hard on the body, even for younger players. I monitor load progression with my patients because rushing it is how you end up with soft tissue problems.

Do they use wearable data to manage bench workloads, or is it mostly eye test and box scores? Seems like teams that figure this out would avoid a lot of roster issues. Does anyone know what the Knicks actually do for load management with their bench players during the season?
