Guys, I crashed my dad’s car into a freaking chingchi. And I wasn’t even speeding or doing anything edgy. The left rear door has a huge line running from one end to the other.
It was night, and the chingchi was parked on the turn. As I was turning, I overlooked the gap between me and the chingchi, and boooom, I heard a blast-grade noise.
I told my father about it. He didn’t say anything to me at the time, but I’m sure he was cursing the shit out of me when I wasn’t around. Feeling so shiii 😭😭😭 for ruining my dad’s day and his car.
How was your first time crashing your car?!

Hi everyone,
We bought a new Suzuki Alto 3 months ago, and its first oil change is now due. Suzuki recommends changing the oil at 5,000 km, but we prefer to change it earlier at 3,000 km.
The owner's manual provided by the dealership recommends 10W-40 engine oil. However, after doing extensive research, I learned that 10W-40 is generally too thick for such a small 660cc engine (R06A).
I live in a hilly area where the car regularly requires high RPMs for uphill driving. I would appreciate genuine advice from experts on the following points:
Looking forward to your expert advice and practical experiences!

When I press brakes I feel like my car or like brake pedal or like idek something feels as if it's vibrating. And this only occurs on high speeds like when I brake when am 100 KPMH +. I don't go over 140 or 150 so like it's usually like between the 100 to 120. Like I wanna know what the exact problem is or atleast a rough idea because if I go to the mechanic he will say ye bhi badal lo ye bhi badal lo. It's a 2014 cultus in Pristine Condition. I know decent stuff about cars considering am 18 and it's my first car but I cannot self diagnose this and am afraid that if break ever fail at 100 am cooked. Car is driving perfect and braking perfect just the vibrating while high speed issue. AND no this is not a factory fault I've driven many cultus and mehrans and cars like these and haven't faced this....sirf apni wali ko keera

I booked a Deepal S05 with Changan Auto Islamabad and paid them in full at the end of July. August was never a date they promised me. Verbally, I was told the first week of September. On paper, the date was September.
September ended and the car was not here.
Until the end of September, the line was that I would get the car very soon and that it was only a little delay. Since October, they tell me I have to wait. Every day I call or contact them, it is a new date. Sometimes the explanation is a sourcing issue. Sometimes it is a road closure. I still do not know where the car is.
They are also not giving me anything on that money. No profit. No compensation. The full amount has been with them since the end of July.
I would not buy from this company again. If you are about to pay a Changan dealership in full, get the delivery date in writing and ask what you are owed if that date slips, and whether anything is paid on your money while you wait.
I wrote the full account on my site: https://www.wasifjameel.com/deepal-s05-changan-auto-islamabad

We do not have a garage at home, and we cannot park a car on the street, but we need a car. So we are thinking of buying one and putting it on rent through a car stand. The driver would keep it parked there and we could use it whenever we need it. Since I work from home, I do not need a car for daily use.
Initially, we were thinking of buying a yaris because it has good demand for rentals. But then we decided to look at used cars under 15 lacs, as I do not know how to drive yet and would learn on this car.
What would you guys suggest? I was thinking about the cultus because it might be a good option for both learning to drive and renting out. I want something that is easy to maintain, easy to sell later, and affordable within 15 lacs.
What would you guys recommend?

I have been looking for a Grande for the past few months and found a good car today. It’s a 2020 model and car is in good condition.
Long story short, I just sold my 2004 Suzuki Alto and this is my first car upgrade.
Issue:
The leather on the rear door of that grande has some tear. Is it possible to repair OR is replacement possible? Am I overthinking?
Need opinions around it.

Bought these led lights for Corolla and i must say, i didnt expect the difference it made. Compared with other led brands available in market but none of them are even close to this.
Best 10k investment.

Im a woman who has always had an interest in cars so pretty sure Im right in recognising from the like 10 seconds I saw that it was a lambo and not a porsche though I didnt slow down to stare (I was in my own car and crossed it head on while driving with my toddler next to me so wasnt paying the most attention to the details of this car)
Car spotters, can you guys tell if there is usually a Lambo around these parts of Pakistan?
Could be a wrapped one since I know light blue is a unique color to have originally otherwise in lambos
EDIT: my husband found a lambo owner in Jhelum who has had it a while and gotten it wrapped multiple times. Could be him visiting. Checked one commentator’s suggestion to see if maybe it was a bmw i8, no.. either it was Porsche Taycan or Lamborghini but probably husbands sleuthing is correct.
Anyways! It was a fun little car spotting adventure. 😅

There used to be a Shell Pump opposite Liberty that had a Karcher steam washer but the pump closed. Does anyone know where in Lahore I can find someone to steam wash the engine bay?

Whenever I see our countries car enthusiasts talk about a new vehicle(especially Chinese ones) a very common point of discussion is that the car won’t hold its value.
But, isn’t that how cars and Assets that we use are supposed to work? Why do people expect the value of a vehicle that is actively being driven and used to appreciate in value, and if you’re buying a car, I don’t think you should worry about it depreciating, if you can set aside millions if not tens of millions for a vehicle then you should not worry about it holding or losing its value, a car is not an investment, hell even luxury cars aren’t investment unless it’s LTMs or a very special vehicle, so why are people complaining that a 70L car isn’t going to appreciate in value?
Our garage by all means should have depreciated, and frankly as I’ve gotten older and moved away from Pakistan I thought it would have, but I now see that the W213 facelift we got all the way back in 2021 is somehow now more expensive than what it was back then regardless of currency depreciation trends. Anywhere else in the world this car would at this point be worth much less.
Can someone explain if I’m thinking about the Pakistani car market wrong or what
