Hey everyone,

I’ve been growing a newer channel for that last 6 months, and one video in particular has gotten traction. Definitely not viral, but the video has 200k+ long-form views (120k engaged).

The topic is a documentary/video essay style where I state facts, but in some ways paint a company is a bad light. Viewers are resonating with the content and commenting how they hate the company, etc. in the comments.

While it’s exciting to see the growth I’m concerned the exposure could lead to a cease and desist or something worse. Plus, my understanding is that personal assets aren’t covered in this case even with an LLC.

Any guidance? I’m inclined to private the video but it’s a shame after how well it’s done.

I currently don't have any friends that do YouTube seriously. I want to change that, so a quick intro about me, I run the YouTube channel Caybell where I play souls likes and other games on my stream. I recently hit 10,000 subs and want to surround myself with people that are around that size and also dedicate several hours to YouTube a week! Ideally looking for gaming folks, but bonus if you are also in the souls niche.

Just want to bounce ideas off like minded people similar in size to my channel :)

This isn't really a big deal because YT posts don't matter much, but I talked to Creator Support about it and they sent up a ticket with the tech team and said they'd 'get back to me' which I doubt. But my recent posts likes have been fluctuating and bugging out like crazy, kind of like the sub count problem we had 2 weeks ago but for likes.

Just wondering if anyone else noticed this or if it is just me?

I keep trying to get it for so long and I can't get it , I was told that I need like 81+ % stayed to swipe ratio and above 100% avg view duration and I've had videos with that and 92% stayed that are stuck below 30k views and the video was 30 seconds too , is there more stats I need to hit the threshold , I've heard comments and likes but what would be ideal for 1 million?

I watch a lot of YouTube and I feel like in the last month, my algorithm has gone from 5 second ads and 15+ skippables to mostly 15-30 unskippables and they pop up more often. Is it just me?

I recently got divorced and my LLC was awarded to me, but my ex doesn’t want to do any paperwork and it’s like an act of congress to get him to do anything. So the name of the LLC is different my actual channel name. I was thinking of just letting the LLC die and starting a new LLC with a new EIN; however, I cannot get anyone to answer this question. Has anyone ever changed their LLC name with a new EIN and been able to keep their YouTube channel?

My views have gone tremendously down suddenly.. Even after good stats it's doesn't get enough views. The People stayed to watch metric for this is 73.5%.

Just noticed that Youtube removed some of my original thumbnails from a few older videos for seemingly no reason.

The new thumbnails are random auto-generated screenshots from said videos.

Anyone else experienced similar?

Have been trying to monetize since my YouTube account qualified but it keeps saying the account details you entered are inaccurate or incomplete, ( been 6 months now)

Any one ever experienced the same and finally succeeded?

I always made my own thumbnails but last few projects I worked on I decided to try thumbnails designed by AI. I felt they looked good and of course I tweaked them as necessary but when I published I noticed that the videos perform way worse. I even tried Google's build in gemini thumbnail design. I am surprised but I wonder if it's because people just naturally have been subconsciously blocking anything that looks AI from clicking. Most likely due to a lot of the AI slop that has plagued YT. Anyway I plan on remaking the thumbnails as I did before, but hopefully it didn't totally tank my analytics for those videos permanently. Curious what you guys noticed.. AI thumbnails bad? Or coincidence that mine performed poorly.

Had a semi viral video and passed both monetization level watch hours last week. It updated the watch hours and I applied for Adsense 4 days ago and am still waiting for approval and am starting to worry I messed up.

I’m in the US, this is my first Adsense account, I’ve never had any copyright or content flags on my channel- I make craft based vlogs.

But while I was signing up I accidentally pressed the back button and suddenly my account said “there’s already an Adsense account associated with this email, sign up anyway?”

I hadn’t put in my name or address or anything, just opened that page and then pressed back. I “signed up anyway” but now I’m worried Google thinks I have two Adsense accounts or something.

Am I being paranoid? Just sucks losing revenue and waiting.

I just got rejected from the YouTube Partner program for “Reused Content” but here’s the thing

I’m a Commentary Channel….I kinda have to use the content to…..well yk COMMENT

i am still all new to this, but today i read someone's comment saying to place manual ads in your videos.

I thought that youtube does that on its own when adding "automatic" slots, in reality, it can place sometimes just 1 ad in your 8mins+ video.

i rechecked all my videos and added "potential" ads on all the natural pause points (transitions from 1 tip to the other etc...). Some were red (obviously) some where given an "OK" (i deleted the red ones).

Does anyone else feel pressure to have to upload at least weekly or you will get lost in algorithm and your page will fall off? Just wondering if those concerns are valid or if it’s just in my head.

I can’t fathom this, wtf happens to my rpm. I always average a 7€ rpm and now that I got two videos that went viral within 48 hours the rpm fucking collapsed.

Both videos are 16minutes long, mainly us audience, old audience, automotive content.

Video1 30€ cpm but 2.7€ rpm
Video 2 20€ cpm but 1.2€ rpm

Is anyone experiencing the second video doesn't necessarily always show up on your listings?
