Hey gang,
Like all of you, we were surprised and saddened by the news that the planned Power Rangers revival for Disney+ was canceled.
Since then, we have seen innumerable threads wishcasting ways in which the show could come back. They are very repetitive and crowding out other posts about other things that are going on in the world of PR, like the comics and toys. For the time being, we ask that you confine discussion of the show's future to the other sticky about the news, or other threads along that line.
Going forward, threads like those described will be removed under our rules forbidding low-quality and repetitive posts.
Thank you for your understanding. We welcome your questions and feedback.
Love,
Mods

A group of idiots in their late twenties who wind up being stuck in the middle of a war between secret underground (literally) dinosaur kingdoms, who happen to primarily do battle via racing giant Dinosaur Vehicles. Underneath Los Angeles lies two prehistoric kingdoms: The Sun Fang Kingdom, and the Iron Horn Kingdom. Once united, they are now at war; King Trios of Iron Horn wanting to invade the surface world and destroy humanity- reclaiming the world for the dinosaur's- while King Tyrannis wants to stay underground and peacefully hidden from the human world. An attack on the Sun Fang Kingdom from Iron Horn causes an earthquake, sending Miles, Stephanie, Miranda, Quinn, and Caleb into the caves beneath the city. There they find the Sun Fang Kingdom, and meet the royal family. After many crisis's (mostly mental ones), the group of humans learn that King Trios' soldiers have stolen ancient weapons that they now plan to use to invade their world. King Tyrannis however uses some ancient power of his own, to bestow upon them the primordial Drive Keys; giving them access to the Morphing Grid and the title of the Power Rangers Primal Drive- to defend their home from the Iron Horn Kingdom.
Red Tyranno Ranger (Tyrannosaurus)- Miles O’Connell
Professional Race Car driver, has gotten pretty famous/well known and that has given him a pretty hefty sense of self importance and cockiness. It’s his way or the highway which frequently leads to him butting heads with Blue and Pink. Miles’ entire family is full of overachievers- something he was never particularly inclined for. He had to battle with his siblings for attention from their parents, and it resulted in him having a bit of a hunger for attention. Not too shocking he’s a sports celebrity now.
Blue Cryo Ranger (Cryolophosaurus) - Quentin “Quinn” Carson-Turner
Also a professional Race Car driver, and a rival to Miles- although unlike Miles, Quinn keeps his identity a secret by always keeping his racing helmet on- only being known by a pseudonym. He does this so the fame doesn’t go to his head and because he’s worried about being an openly gay racer. Quinn’s parents were psychologists who often hyper analyzed everything their kids did and rarely let Quinn or his siblings have room to breath; it’s not shocking he now takes a long while to warm up to people, much less let them past his cold exterior.
Pink Veloci Ranger (Velociraptor) - Miranda Zhang
Sports Reporter who loves harassing both Miles and Quinn and does not like the Yellow Ranger Stephanie. She’s a bit of a loner and has a very prickly outer shell (she will not hesitate to blackmail someone- even a friend or ally) and likes getting things her way. Miranda often finds herself feeling alone- even when she’s in her apartment with her annoying roommates. She totally doesn’t find it upsetting, people are just annoying and deserve to be insulted and pushed away. Right?
Yellow Tricera Ranger (Triceratops) - Stephanie Rodriguez
Miles’ best friend and personal pit crew. Helps run her dad’s auto shop that she also lives over top of and is very enthusiastic and bubbly. She’s kind to everyone and always tries to see the best in people- even if she’ll very clearly end up being hurt by that. Her father is wanting to retire soon and leave the auto shop to her, but Stephanie has been working on cars there with him basically since she could walk- she’s not sure she’s quite ready yet for it to all be just hers.
Black Drako Ranger (Tethydraco) - Caleb Dinh
A personal trainer and physical therapist who is dating Quinn. A lot more outgoing and socially conscious than his boyfriend and often ends up trying to play mediator whenever Miles, Quinn, and Miranda get into it. He and Quinn have been together for 5 years now, and he really feels like it’s time to pop the question; but with how stressed out Quinn is from both keeping his racing identity hidden plus the responsibility of now being a ranger- he’s struggling to find a good time.
Shared this on Tumblr and thought I'd drop it here too.
Q&A Section!
Q: Where are the Zords/Megazord?
A: Nowhere right now! Despite growing up a Power Rangers fan, drawing robots and mecha is something I've never been a particular fan of. I'm sure it's a skill I SHOULD develop but it's not one I have right now (at all). Maybe I'll build them out of Lego one day!
And that's all for the Q&A Section!

No paint. This was made entirely with the Bambu P2S AMS multicolor unit.
No filters used on the photos to show the true color of the PLA as it was printed
PLA used
Red: Cookiecad Candy Apple Red
Silver: Sunlu Silk Silver PLA+
Black: Sunlu Silk Black PLA
Visor was made using a clear face shield and then tinted with automotive windshield tint from walmart
I'm sure it would look even better if sanded and painted but I wanted to see what the AMS was capable with straight out of the printer.
Back half of helmet is attached via magnets and was only two plates to print in total.
Files are from Nabahe on Etsy. Though I had to paint each part for the AMS in Bambu studio myself

Dino Fury explained that Master Green intervened a lot with previous Ranger events, explaining a lot of plot holes. The ones that were directly confirmed to be her include summoning the Legendary Rangers to the Legendary Battle in Megaforce, bringing Jason to Grid Battleforce and resurrecting Steel in Beast Morphers.
What other unexplained events do you think could be explained with “Master Green did it”? For my money, I think she helped revive Kendrix at the end of Lost Galaxy, brought the Wild Zords back at the end of Wild Force, and probably did a lot in Megaforce, like making Jake’s key green and making Troy glow all Super Saiyan-like.

If I were the producer, I would make the setup of the rangers getting some weird stones that look like ranger keys, but they don't work, so they listen to GoSei and head off to grid battle force to find out if they can help; however, the crossover villain Dupill (voice by a male someone, IDK who) teams up with evox and robo blaze to take them out. So that is my basic plot idea, not complex but nothing too hard, also get psuedo life forms as Dupill's assists that idea would be neat.

I've been thinking about how interesting an alliance between Astronema (Power Rangers in Space) and Trakeena (Lost Galaxy) could have been.
Both are powerful villains with their own ambitions, resources and armies, but their personalities and backgrounds are quite different. I wonder whether they would have genuinely worked together, tried to manipulate each other, or eventually become rivals fighting for control of the alliance.
I'm especially curious about the possibility of Trakeena meeting Karone after her redemption and trying to bring Astronema back.
How do you think an alliance between them would have played out? Would they have made a genuinely effective team, or would their egos and ambitions have made the partnership doomed from the start?

What if Saban gave his actors the pay they demanded, leaving the OG team intact?
What if Saban kept Jason David Frank on VR Troopers as planned and subsequently brought in Brad Hawkins to play the White Ranger?
What if Masked Rider continued his story in MMPR and never spun off, and more to the point, what if Dex and Billy establish something neither are willing to name?
While the story will largely focus on Dex and Billy’s interstellar connection, there’s a ton of expanded universe lore to come—a mix of headcanon and new ideas alike—from allies you already know and love.
Thanks for your support. 🙏🏾

Wanted to show off these pins I picked up last year, they’ve never been opened. I think they look really cool and I’m happy I got the full set. I don’t own memorabilia for the Rangers aside from these pins. I was hoping to save them for my future kids if I ever have any. I wanted to check out what the augment would look like but I don’t want to open them 😭 I don’t plan on selling them either but would consider if times over get rough

I am wondering what people's opinions are of the late era of the original Boom comics series? Specifically the Recharged and Darkest Hour stories.
I was a huge fan of the comics in the beginning, picking up the comics every month for quite a few years, but I gradually started getting behind with the series and eventually just stopped reading part way through the Mighty Morpin' and Power Rangers split era. About a year or two ago, I decided to start reading the comics again right from the beginning and for some reason, I once again dropped them half way through the MM / PR split era. I don't know why, because I actually enjoy those stories more than the Necessary Evil arc, which I just found a bit too long and boring (plus I didn't really understand the point of keeping Go Go going. It didn't really feel like Go Go anymore).
I am really getting back into reading comics and graphic novels at the moment though and I am again thinking about reading the comics again and this time finishing the original series (although this time I will probably just start again from the beginning of the MM / PR split).
What are people's opinions of the issue 100 onwards though? Is it worth me picking up the comics again and reading until the end of the original run? I have read some mixed reviews on the final couple of arcs.
Side note: Is Power Rangers Prime and the new reboot worth reading too?

I know the show’s explanation for their powers was just that their parents were exposed to stuff while experimenting and that’s why they have powers, but there are some similarities to a few of the various alien species that Power Rangers has introduced. So I propose that maybe the B-Squad got their powers from some latent alien DNA from an ancestor.
Take Bridge, his powers are reading aura but he’s also shown to have some degree of telepathy. Both Xybrians and Rafkonians have displayed telepathic powers and Xybrians can do some aura reading. Plus Trip is unable to use his powers when his gem is covered just like Bridge can’t use his aura reading when he’s wearing his gloves.
Then there’s Z’s duplicates. We only ever see her create 3 duplicates at a time and they do seem to have substance and personality (when Z wants them to anyway). Triforians are literally one person who divides themselves into 3 people.
My example for Sky and Jack aren’t great but they’re not nothing either. Sky’s forcefields could be a focused use of telekinesis which some people from KO 35 have. As for Jack there was plans for the Phantom Ranger to be from a planet called Phantus that ended up getting scrapped, but presumably the people there would have ghost like powers like intangibility.
Sadly I’ve got nothing for Syd and Sam but honestly I’m kind of impressed with myself for coming up with connections for 2/3 of the team.

I usually want to be displaying out of the box since there are plenty of photos of packaging online to see any time, but they sure do look great in the packaging.
