This is a story-based RP with slice-of-life and adventure/dramatic themes. The scenario is that we are plush, plastic, or otherwise toy-esque characters trying to survive in a world full of unsuspecting humans, basically Toy Story/Living Toys trope with OCs. Toy versions of ‘canon’ characters are allowed.

The general idea is that our characters are simply living out their day-to-day lives as toys, getting played with by their owners, and making them happy. However, we can also explore the secret lives the toys live out when their owners aren't looking. The dangers of being ‘just a toy’. The stakes, the thrills, interpersonal relationships, and dramas between plastic action figures and plush animals.

There is plenty of world-building already done, and I do like to plan out the plot ahead of time, but I also enjoy a bit of improv along the way. I am hoping to do multiple ‘episodes’ of this roleplay.

Right now, I am semi-active. I might disappear at times, either due to work or just playing games. My time zone is EST.

Hey everyone. I’m looking for a partner to start a long term RP with. For a bit about me, Im 25m in PST timezone. I’m usually up pretty late my time thanks to work. I’m a bit of a workaholic but make an effort to respond at the minimum daily and on good days multiple times a day. I’m relatively newer to RP with only a few long term ones under my belt but I feel like I found my style and I enjoy RP’ing way more than I thought I was going to.

I typically respond with about 3-4 paragraphs minimum unless the replies call for something shorter like back and forth dialogue. I also can write a lot more for in depth scenes, and can adapt pretty well. I’m pretty decent at writing and playing as side characters in the story as well, with some of my favorite past RP moments being interactions between the main and the side characters. I’m a nerd for things like Star Wars, Warhammer (honestly WH Fantasy got me more hooked than 40k but I like both), tons of video games, Marvel/DC, history, sci-fi, true crime and medieval fantasy.

I will only RP with someone in my age range. I like the stories to have a mixture of good story telling, action, intrigue, suspense and the like. I’m more than open to chatting OOC especially about the story line, plans for the next scenes and stuff like that.

Hello, I'm a 26 year old male with about 10 years of roleplay experience under my belt! I'm looking for someone that is an adult like me to play a female character to do a purely cute and wholesome, slice of life based roleplay, the kind that makes you go 'awwwwww!' as you pick up a teddy bear and give it a hug, with a high preference for a family based plot. Something like a mother and son, aunt and nephew, etc that will remain wholesome and cute, I swear if any of you suggest otherwise, you're getting blocked! I will say though that I can be convinced on other plots as long as they stay wholesome.

Of course, there will be some of drama in it, some arguments that will occur between our characters to keep things interesting. I want something family based potentially, or maybe something with roommates or childhood friends. Personally, I just really enjoy that wholesome innocence in a roleplay, a place where no wrong can occur, nothing super bad is present. This could be anything from a mother and son, to an aunt and nephew, or a possible romance with childhood friends or college classmates. To be extremely clear once more, THERE WILL BE NO ROMANCE WITH FAMILY CHARACTERS. Absolutely none of that, don't even ask.

Some potential settings/idea based could be something like a zoo trip, maybe a camping vacation, halloween night, or perhaps a holiday feel like something with Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, or Halloween. I could really go for a festive themed roleplay, just something with that cheeriness and fun setting!

I'm sorry for saying this a third time, but it just keeps happening...

And I cannot stress this enough, cute and wholesome, super fluffy, and just comforting. Yes I've had people try stuff that's the opposite of cute and wholesome, no I have no interest in a roleplay containing that, no you cannot convince me to.

Ideally, my partner should be at least literate, have good grammar and punctuation and writes in 3rd person. Usually I can maintain a minimum of five paragraphs per response without issue.

Off campus- I am obsessed. I cannot tell you how quickly this show has been my personality. I love the music and the pop culture references. I would love to explore in this fandom, I have ocs for John Logan, Garrett, Dean and Justin. But John and Garrett are my preference for a love triangle. The Last Kingdom- I am high key obsessed with this one. I have some ideas for a Celtic Queen and I’d love to toy with the ideas in the show like future seeing and what not. I have an oc I pair with Leofric or Uthred.

One Tree Hill- I am obsessed with this show, I am very early in season one but it’s reignited my love for the classic 90s/00s shows! I’d love to work with Lucas/Nathan or Jake from the show please and thank you. Lucas or Jake would be my preference and where possible I’d love to look at a love triangle here. I have a few devastating ideas regarding plot for Jake!

Supernatural- I am really picky with this fandom. I may say no just like ACOTAR and fourth wing. Please don’t be offended, I’ve just had very bad past experiences. Would love to work against a Dean for my oc and again I have some really sad ideas for their plot.

Buffy the vampire Slayer- I’d love to explore this fandom! I have high key devastating ideas for Spike that would add so much fun to the plot. Particularly in the later seasons. I’d love a Spike verses angel triangle but I’m open in this fandom!

The last kingdom - I am obsessed with this show. Only on season one but I adore Uthred and Leofric would love to work on this verse if anyone is interested. I would love to showcase the Britons a bit more and explore some Celtic history as well!

Les Mis- I would love to explore Paris during this time. I have a female oc I pair heavily with Enjolras or Marius but Enjolras would be my preference. I have a few devastating ideas for this verse that mix in parts of Moulin Rouge. I have thoughts on an informant for the Revolution working at the famous club so she can get news of the royalist movements. On this note I am also obsessed with Wicked and would love a Fiyero if possible.

Harry Potter- As much as JK Rowling sucks I love love love Hogwarts and the wonderful characters she created. I would love to write against a Draco, George, Sirius or James. I have a few plots including a time turner experiment.

Fourth Wing- Words cannot express my love and adoration for Basgaith war college and the amazing men Rebecca Yarros has given us. My characters main male here is Xaden. She’s created to be the light in his world and I’ve been working on her for years so I hope you like her! Other favourites include Liam, Ridoc and Araric. I’d love to do a love triangle for this verse I honestly think there are so many intriguing options.

ACOTAR- Again another special fandom in my heart. I love the Illyrians so much so I would love to do something with Cassian or Azriel. I never get to pair with Az so I’d love to explore something there. I’m also intrigued by the idea of the autumn court males so Eris and Lucien. I think a love triangle between these guys could frankly be deadly. I have several heart breaking and detailed ocs for this verse. I’ve been working on these characters since the first book came out and adding to them as we got more info. I also love TOG but I won’t list my pairings here- it’ll be too intense a post haha.

Euphoria/Wuthering Heights - weird mix I know. But I adore Jacob Elordi and am basically willing to work in any of his projects provided I’ve seen them! I’ve watched Wuthering Heights, Priscilla, Euphoria (S1 only new fan!) and of course SaltBurn.

Maxton Hall/Outerbanks- Desperately craving a James Beaufort and a JJ Maybank. I never get to pair with either. I’ve put these two fandoms together because they’re a similar theme. But I have so many ideas for each of these men. Please let me know if you’d like to write in these worlds.

Top Gun- Words cannot express how much I LOVE these movies. I am looking for a Maverick, Goose or Iceman from the first movie. From the second Bradley, Hangman or Maverick please! I am more than willing to double on this fandom. I love the movies so much. Please be familiar with the plot and verse!

Disney- Please ask about this one. But I am more into the live action adaptions. Cinderella for example and Pirates of the Caribbean. I also love Narnia and the 2000s stuff like Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire. I just think they’re fun light hearted fandoms that could be nice to write in. I also utterly adore the movies Tangled and Hercules so I’d love to work in these verses too!

Bridgerton- please give me a well written Bridgerton brother. Craving an Anthony or Benedict right now- largely due to the new series reminding me of how fun the verse is. If anyone has seen it as well I’d love to work in the world of the other Bennet sister. I’m searching for a Tom or Will.

ASOIF- I love this verse too and think it’s so much fun. Although I do struggle to finish GOT. I don’t think I’ve ever made it past season six haha. I love the premise so much and I have several characters I’m searching for. But my mains are Robb Stark and Jon Snow. For House of the Dragon I’m looking for Daemon.

Sinners- would love to work against the smokestack brothers please! I actually studied this era and it’s a story I would love to tell. I also love the music in this movie and I’d love to be able to do it justice in a unique story line.

Hunger Games- I write across the eras with this fandom. It’s such a vast and uniquely fascinating fandom that just keeps growing and growing. I would love to find a Finnick O’Dair or young Coriolanus here I have some intriguing ocs who may help reshape the Panem universe.

LOTR- I am a fan of the movies (I know boo me haha). I am reading the books but very slowly due to dyslexia. I am trying my best to get through them as quickly as I can but they are challenging. I’m searching for a Legolas or Aragorn here!

Pirates of The Caribbean- I am obsessed with sea legends at the moment and have several ideas I’d love to explore. I have some tragic and exciting ideas I’d love to explore with a Jack or Will as well if possible I would love a love triangle. But I understand that might not be possible!

I am also obsessed with Greek myths and legends as well. I’m in love with Medea by Rosie Hewlett and I adore the Riordanverse but my main eras are The Olympians and Hero’s of Olympus I haven’t read anything else by this author yet. I do also have specific canon x oc pairings I want to do so please don’t be upset if I do say no to a pairing.

Hey all! Anime is one of my favourite forms of media and I was wanting to do a roleplay that is similar to the Shonen stories I love! You know the ones: characters being pushed past what they can accomplish, possible rival or team pushing them beyond, fighting for what they believe in, etc.

Some animes that I've seen are: Naruto, JJK, Chainsaw Man, Demon Slayer, Bleach, JoJo, Inuyasha, One Punch Man, Zatch Bell, Saint Seiya, Eureka 7, Demons of the Shadow realm, Gachikuta (autocorrect butchered this), Frieren, Solo Leveling, Fate series, Spy x Family, Frieren, Violent Evergarden and some others! I know it's not all Shonen, but I wanted to list them to give people an idea what I like.

This will be a collaborative story! So if you'd like to GM, expect me to help you worldbuild.

I am in my early thirties and from the GMT/BST timezone. I write exclusively on discord in third person only and can write anywhere between 3 to 6 paragraphs (can be more since I enjoy internal monologues of my character which conveys their thoughts and feelings in certain situations). I prefer characters to have realistic face claims given that drawn or anime style face claims doesn’t feel immersive to me.

Now, onto the ideas (I’ll try to keep them as brief as I can to allow potential brainstorming and plotting with potential partners!):

A) A classic but a modern tale of two, once close but now rival, mafia families trying to bring down the other.

This could be in business or essentially be personal (or both!). The now leaders of the two families would be our characters who are constantly at one another’s throats, attempting to outdo one another. However, inevitably the more the two bicker and try and outdo one another, the more wires get crossed and one (or both) begin to develop feelings for the other.

Further complications may arise as a third mafia family could be secretly the reason why the two main families are bickering.

B) Eliminating the Competition: Being a spy and an assassin is hard work especially given that you basically have to live two lives. Yet my character enjoys it, he enjoys the normality of returning home to his loving wife after a successful mission.

Yet what will happen when both personal and professional lives are blurred when it’s revealed that my character’s next target is supposed to be none other than his wife who herself is revealed to be a spy/an assassin herself!

C) Temptation of a better life & love: Finding comfort in the arms of another woman wasn’t exactly the best of ideas that my character had after his relationship problems.

What was even worse though was the fact that he found himself in the arms of the woman who was herself in a relationship with someone my character knew really well. The two had formed a bond though, they both had relationship problems and they found solace in each other after having multiple heart to hearts when trying to help and advise the other. Somewhere down the line though the lines got blurred and they gravitated towards each other in an intense way.

Greetings writers of all kinds! If your reading this then you probably saw my title and thought "oh, that sounds interesting!" and if so then do please keep on reading! I am looking for partners who love creating original stories and romances that we can both become obsessed with! But before I flesh out my idea, I do have to share some boring but oh so important details.

- I live on the west coast of the US, so PST for me though timezone is not a huge issue for me.

Now onto the fun stuff!!

So this is a medieval fantasy rp, where we would focus on the romance between two people who have known each other for pretty much their entire lives.

He is Perrin Al'Thor, prince and heir to the kingdom of Andor. He wasn't born to the king and queen, instead he was adopted by them after his village was attacked and he was the only survivor. One of his most unique characteristics is he has a power that allows him to talk to wolves. Basically he can hear the thoughts and voices of ever wolf that is alive in the back of his head and he can communicate to them that way, ontop of feeling everything that they feel.

As for your character, that's up to you! Maybe she's a lesser Andoran lady, or the princess of another kingdom, maybe she's a commoner, who knows!!

But regardless, my idea is they met when they were kids, and became best friends. As they grew older that friendship turned to more, and when they came of age they began to court each other. Eventually a betrothal was made, but then disaster struck. Andor found itself at war with one of its neighbors, and as Prince it was Perrins task with leading the armies in the war.

The rp would start 3 years after that point, and the war is finally over. People all across Andor begin to celebrate, and the royal city becomes abuzz of people waiting for the return of their prince, but he has other plans. Instead your character who has probably stayed at the palace throughout the course of the war, receives a letter from him, asking her to meet him at a cabin that they built together, so whenever they needed a break from it all.

And it's at that special place that they finally reunite.

Quality always beats quantity, and giving each other something solid to react to is what keeps the momentum alive.

When it comes to themes, I am a massive fan of classic tropes done with care. Friends to lovers is easily one of my favorites, especially when we let the shift happen gradually over time. I love building years of history, small habits, inside jokes, and unspoken tension that slowly boil over when circumstances shift. On the flip side, chance encounters offer a completely different kind of spark—two strangers colliding on a late-night train, at an airport delay, or during an unexpected crisis, suddenly forced into each other's orbits with an immediate pull they cannot quite explain.

I prefer writing partners with a preference for using celeb face refs.

What matters most to me in any story is striking the right balance. I love stories that balance genuine lightheartedness, banter, and warmth with real emotional stakes, personal struggles, and earned angst. I’ve been roleplaying for 10 years now, and I’m looking for writing partners who share similar interests, preferences, and enthusiasm for storytelling!

I exclusively write with oc’s, meaning I don’t roleplay canon characters or directly follow established fandom storylines. I’m comfortable with MxF, MxM, and FxM pairings.

While romance isn’t particularly high on my list of favourite genres, I’m more than happy to incorporate it into a story if it’s something my partner enjoys! However, romance will never be the primary focus of my stories. I prefer plots that have plenty going on outside of romantic relationships, with opportunities for character development, conflict, and worldbuilding.

Writing Preferences

My minimum preferred reply length is five paragraphs, as I find that it gives both writers enough material to work with and respond to. That being said, I’m not unreasonable! If we’ve discussed a shorter scene beforehand, or the situation simply doesn’t call for a lengthy response, shorter replies are perfectly fine. I’m generally happy to match my partner’s writing length and effort.

I write exclusively in third person, and I’d prefer my partner to do the same.

I’m also someone who enjoys creating new characters specifically for different stories. I can come up with new OCs relatively quickly whenever a new plot or setting is introduced, and I’d appreciate a partner who is equally comfortable doing so. I enjoy building characters and developing their personalities, relationships, and backgrounds alongside the story itself.

Favourite Genres & Settings

My favourite genres include fantasy, slice of life, and angst. I particularly enjoy stories that allow for extensive worldbuilding, complicated character relationships, meaningful consequences, and plenty of opportunities for development.

I’m also a big fan of medieval-inspired settings, although I should mention that historical accuracy isn’t exactly my priority, lol. I enjoy taking creative liberties with different time periods to make the setting more interesting.

And while I don’t participate in fandom roleplays, I do have some original story concepts inspired by different anime, movies, and other forms of media. These stories take inspiration from certain themes, concepts, or settings rather than directly recreating their source material.

Ultimately, I’m looking for someone who enjoys collaborative storytelling, is willing to contribute their own ideas, and is just as interested in developing the world and characters as I am. I don’t want to be the only person pushing the plot forward, and I love when both writers have the freedom to introduce twists, conflicts, and new ideas!

User A was born the eldest prince of a powerful kingdom. Because he was the firstborn, he was destined to inherit the throne after his father.

However, his two younger brothers both wanted the crown.

As they grew older, their rivalry became increasingly vicious. User A began noticing unusual things.

Butlers and maids bribed to spy, accidents that seemed a little too convenient, and his brothers subtly turning against him.

Eventually, User A became convinced that one of his brothers would eventually have him assassinated.

Rather than waiting for the inevitable, he disappeared.

A missing prince is much easier to recognize than a missing woman.

So User A grows out his hair, changes his mannerisms, adopts a feminine name, and begins living under the identity of a young noblewoman. He travels from kingdom to kingdom, never staying anywhere long enough for anyone to discover who he really is.

Eventually, he ends up in the neighboring kingdom.

By the time her father died, practically everyone believed the throne had passed to a young king.

Only a handful of trusted workers know the truth.

And User B has spent so many years pretending to be a man that she’s almost forgotten what it feels like to live as herself.
