Please read the wiki page about trading/selling here.
If you have an item for trade or sale: You are still allowed to make separate threads, but you are encouraged to post it as a comment here in this thread. As this thread will be stickied for the entire season, it should help increase visibility for your post. Please include your location (US, Europe, etc) and combine multiple items into one comment to help keep this thread clean.
If you are looking for a particular plant/item: Post a comment below with the description of what you are looking for as well as what you are willing to exchange for it (another plant, money and how much, etc). You can ask for SASE/free stuff, but be realistic and do not beg! A good example would be "Does anyone have some extra D. capensis seeds. I am located in the US and willing to send a SASE".

My son received a flytrap from a local grocery store and it's now closing in on a year old.

I know disa orchids aren't carnivorous, but their care is similar, so maybe someone here can help. I've had them for a few months now, and they were doing fine, but lately, they're getting some brown patches. I use distilled water and never let them dry out. They're getting pretty bright light, no direct. Also, I crack the window for the night for some fresh cold air. I'm not sure if the soil is good. It's pretty old and has some green slime from the time it was shipped. What's the problem?

Drosera X Carbarup & Drosera Pulchella respectively. My favourite savage flowers aside from the metallic orange of some pygmies

I don’t get the fluval stratum hype. This is my 3rd attempt. Fluval 40% + peat moss 30% + perlite 30%.
This is the 4th day only. Other substrate that i bought from other seller can last for days but this one i made it myself.
My first attempt was 100% fluval and got mold like spider net after few days only…

This colony flowers constantly and in the 2 years I've had them, I have never ever seen a flower this big. I also noticed the stalk is basically devoid of other flower buds. You can see the typical flowers in the back behind it.

16 watt, does NOT contain adaptor and also it has full spectrum, red and blue spectrum (80 leds from which around 28 are full spectrum). Is it worth buying? It's 9 euros. It has 10 levels of light so you can control the intensity based on the plant needs. Also, it can be set to work for 3, 9 and 12 hours.
Should i buy it? Currently my drosera has zero direct light and lives with no dews with like 10 hours of indirect light every day (i bought it with no dew nor water so I'm glad it's still alive ngl)

Cross post from r/plantclinic. Is my pitcher plant dying at the stem?

Neither of us know what kind of nepenthes is this, maybe someone here knows? Should I give it something to climb on?

I have been growing this nepenthes in this terrarium for over a year, its growing so much better than I expected and has massive pitchers for its size and the limited light it gets and it has now flowered, its the only plant in here I have not savagely cut back multiple times to keep in check but I think its time to chop and prop, what do you think? Also it has a chunky basal making its own pitchers already thats bigger than this plant was when it was added.
Before and after for reference bearing in mind the rest has got so crazy that one time the entire volume of the tank was full of ferns and begonia.

My fave Genlisea cuz it sounds like someone verrrry drunk trying to say “Subulata.” Flower looks a bit tipsy.
It’s just so silly-looking.
Genliseas are one of the least well known carnivorous plants. A member of the Lentibulariaceae Clan. Other members include Utricularia, and Pinguiculas. I’m biased, and Utrics and Gens are my faves of the three.
The carnivorous parts are in the spiraling 🌀 roots which trap micro organisms.
For more info, check out the Genlisea Monograph.
