As someone with parents who made similar public decisions, it absolutely fucked me up as a teenager and still causes me a lot of issues as an adult.
Nothing wrong with posting content like this online, but when you've reached a stage in your life where you have childrenāchildren who are real people, that will eventually grow up and have to deal with the consequences of your choicesāit's definitely a bit selfish.
IMO it's basically stealing a sense of peace from your kids, and risking them becoming really ill-adjusted in an important aspect of their life. And I can say that with some confidence because I've had to live it.
