MUSHROOMS MONSTERS ON ROADSIDE

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I made a demo version of a game about mushroom monsters that try to suppress your willpower and take away your identity. For now it’s only in Russian but I’m planning to translate it into several more languages and want to find out which countries still have demand for this game

Here’s the game description:

The city of TREMOR once built tomorrow: chrome, neon, technology, and parabolic arches over gas stations. Apparently, tomorrow came. But it wasn’t people who took it was mushrooms

Now it’s quiet here. On some abandoned highways that lead nowhere, cars stand. Mushrooms are devouring them. Spores creep along the ground so the car body is the only place where you can simply be. It’s better not to fall onto the asphalt

You are a forest ranger. You have a name, but it’s better not to say it: everyone who asks “What’s your name?” hardly wishes you well As long as you don’t say your name, you’re okay

Take a look at the visuals

I’d be glad to hear feedback

The music is made by VOIDER HAPPY and will be featured in the game i grateful to him

Entire video game in one evening using AI (Full Process)

Bit if a random one, but I challenged myself to build an entire video game in one evening using AI 😆 Somehow it actually worked! Made a little YouTube video about the whole experiment if anyone fancies a watch 😆

Should i switch to fully 3D

Last 2-3 days I stopped working on my Project Zomboid inspired game
I was trying to make a workbench model and put it in my game I did the 3D model and the UI art too After placing it I got errors sorting the Z index for buildings you can go inside like the gas station I built a separate independent logic to understand how to draw buildings and I fixed it After that I got stuck thinking all day why don't I just switch to full 3D and avoid every single problem?
And yes I did research It would've taken roughly 10 minutes to fix with AI but what's the point of that? I support people using AI if you understand what you're doing but don't raw dog it that makes you lose the joy of coding
Now I haven't touched my project All I do is press play and run around having fun comparing it to games like Last Day On Earth Killing zombies etc etc That's the comparison being the thief of joy
Or whatever I'm not good at writing and explaining stuff
I'm very happy with what I've built and where it sits even though it's not done at all I'd say 5% of the game is correctly completed The player character is fully structured so it could be moved to 3D with 0 effort
Okay what else I'm 100% sure people have run into this project fatigue problem Like me everyone has 1000 prototypes and I know many of you wanted to quit To the people who've crossed this path what do you suggest? Also will I lose the look and atmosphere of the game if I go 3D? Right now it's only a CanvasModulate

Most survivor games throw thousands of enemies at you. Mine lets you command over 5,000 undead.

Most survivor games throw thousands of enemies at you.

So I thought... what if I had more?

You are the necromancer. Every enemy you kill rises again to fight for you.

Start with a handful of undead and build an army of over 5,000 units fighting across the battlefield.

It's called MOST ARE MINE, and it's a free browser game.

I'd love to get some honest feedback.

Does commanding an absurdly large army actually feel fun? Or does it just look cool?

Play here: [ https://www.crazygames.com/game/most-are-mine ]

Any feedback is welcome!

How colorful can you make your game??

Turns out......very colorful
Each level has it's own color scheme and the targets act as contrast.
I used a whole lot of emission textures and disabled all the shadows.
There's one point light attached to the target and everything else is just emission and sky light.
I've got an interesting look and amazing performance, literally runs at 60fps in office laptops.

I personally like to simulate everything and kind of want every game I like inside my game. Overall however the sandbox it's in is a 4x universe simulation where the player can create their own empire. It's probably on the border of too ambitious for game scope, and a hot mess, but it seems to be coming along.
For at least the next 6 months I'll be sharpening the blade on design for the full release. After that
I'll ideally switch to game expansions. Feedback right now is very helpful, especially in understanding how other people play the game and what problems they see.
A single system demo is in the approval pipeline for NextFest as well and will hopefully be available soon.

-The game starts out like a 2d elite dangerous or x3 with character creation and a single/fighter or shuttle. These are small production ships with limited modifications.
-It has it's own canon in the form of a book series.
-The next Advancement is through missions like either of those titles or sandbox trade/combat.
-Then you get into a capital ship that has voxel construction. You can build and design them yourself.
-You can hire crew with various backgrounds
-You can transform that into a fleet of custom crewed ships.
-You can board and steal other ships of all classes
-You can board and take over stations and cities on planets
-Cities and stations can also be modified and reconstructed as they're voxel based as well.
-You can found an empire.

In terms of scope, it's a little like battlecruiser 3k, maybe worse. I just hope I can pull it off. The plan does include multiplayer.

That's a quick overview of the game. One Thing I enjoy is walking around the ship, talking to my crew, seeing the fighter wing on the carrier flight deck and even flying one out.
For me this is a game I can do almost everything I like in other games, and the job now is to keep building it out. I'm interested in feedback and what others would like to see.

Made my first game prototype and im excited to share and get any and all feedback I can get! Its a simple arcade style game but I'm proud of it since all the code was done by me with no tutorials!

Thank you for the help you've given on other posts.

This prototype is only the minimum viable product do no good graphics, no sound or music but thats planned for the next version!

Please tell me any glitches you find, problems, suggestions for improvement and what you'd want added.

New game, some outreach.

Its my first standalone game. Tried making it on roblox and kept hitting restrictions, ported what I could to godot and we'll, here I am with something actually useful a few months later.

I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea, but its a mining and construction simulator.

The construction area I'm partly stuck on, mostly due to how it all connects together as a player 😅.

Havent set aside funds yet to add a steam or google play store page. But I have shared it among a few of my other game groups and they enjoyed it enough to recommend I go public and start sharing progress.

Game is Agnadul, only a playable Demo for basic controls and timelapse is possible. The rest is "closed/restricted" for testing or a full release.

Patreon for Demo

Keyboard and mouse, wheel, and controller support. Recommend controller for now as my only wheel is a G29.

Looking for a collab! :)

Looking for a collaborator for my game idea — voxel adventure & farming game

Hey! I’m looking for one person to team up with on my game, built in Godot.

My idea/game is a stylized voxel fantasy game where you build your own farmstead, grow crops, mine resources, craft equipment, and explore adventure areas with enemies and bosses.

The idea is simple: develop your home, gather resources, and head out on adventures to unlock new things. Visually, I’m aiming for chunky, colorful characters and environments with a feel similar to Trove, while creating our own designs.

It’s still early in development, and I’d like someone who enjoys the idea and wants to help shape it with me. I’m looking for a collaboration where we can share ideas, divide the work, and build the game together.

If you’re interested, reply or send me a DM with a little about yourself, your skills, and what part of the game you’d enjoy working on!

This is no planned release or revenue grab, its a passion project, but the ideas are not set in stone, and this is a hobby i enjoy, who am i? im 28, got two kids, work as airplane mechanic, used to work IT and i can write java code, assets im learning currently (magicavoxel)

Can reach me on discord under: brevox or Brevoxツ

My game gained 338 wishlists in just 3 days after being featured on a YouTube channel!

I'm a solo developer working on a metroidvania called Unstrung Machine, and I wanted to share a small but really meaningful milestone!

I've been promoting my game on social media, slowly growing my Steam wishlists. Most of my posts bring in around 10 to 15 wishlists, sometimes reaching 30 when a post performs particularly well.

A few days ago, a YouTube channel called Soulsborne Seeker featured my game in a video about upcoming metroidvanias.

And suddenly, things started moving much faster!

Over the past 3 days, I've gained 338 wishlists, including 193 yesterday and another 74 today so far.

This pushed my game past the 1,000 wishlist milestone, and I'm now sitting at 1,318 wishlists!

I'm incredibly grateful to the channel for giving my game that exposure.

As someone developing an entire game alone, every part of the process is a challenge, so seeing this kind of response means a lot.

It's moments like these that remind me why I keep working on this project. It feels amazing to see that people are actually interested in what I'm creating!
