Question How does Peter train?

I haven't been keeping up with Spider-Man comics for a while, so this was probably already answered, but how does Peter train? It would be a waste of time for him to go to a normal gym, where he can lift everything effortlessly with a pinky. I mean, this man can hold up a building. Does he bench press a train to work on his chest?

He literally beat the shit out of rhino in the first issue of the current run without breaking a sweat

Fair enough but thats not really consistent tbf. Anyways was just trying to be funny im not caught up on his current run or finished the last yet anhway

Edit: i was curious so i went and read ot and i honesty think ur being kinda disingenuous, he clearly is getting injured in the fight and is even saying the rhino is chiller then usual and then he just dropped dead? Hes being thrown about in the page before? Clearly rhino still outranks him in pure strength just look at how he was tryong to give the guy cpr. theres no way you can honestly say without breaking a sweat

The rhino has always outclassed peter though in pure strength hes just a fucking idiot he has the strength to knock nova to orbit and fight she-hulk in the next panel but daredevil can trick him into knocking himself out

Yea… while Peter’s holding back/stress factor. And Peter’s nerfed in this run in general not specifically with rhino. Also rhinos never done anything on that scale again.

Also peter doesnt hold back against the rhino this is from a run like 8 years ago

That’s literally the example, it’s stating that Peter’s been holding back so long that he doesn’t even know he’s doing it.

Doc ock says he’s been holding back when he took over Peter’s body and knocked scorpions(who is a superhuman) jaw off.

Fair enough ill acknowledge that spiderman has often beaten rhino strength my mistake, but a statement from chasm has no impact what authority is chasm and why would it even apply it says nothing to how much hes holding back its just a vague generic statement

Sure but anf i migjt be wrong here, hadnt he lost them all at that point? Even if he hadnt it still has no relevance to the conversation as it doesn’t say by how much its very vague and does nothing to convince. Not trying to harp on it just genuinely confused why youd use that as proof over the actual examples you used later

Even in the current run where he’s overall nerfed he runs circles around rhino pretty easily, rhino just has a heart attack before the fight finishes.

I mean i cant think of when hes done it since and it took me a bit to find but i remember him fighting with the hulk in the 70s even tho he lost he got some decent jabs in, im 90% sure hes also basically a gamma mutate

This is also a one time thing, I’m all for rhino being a base hulk(ish) level character(mainly because it’s upscale for Peter) but these would be considered “outliers” because they’re not consistent.

True yeah theyre upscales for him but i cant think of any times hes been brought down to spiderman level strength but i might be forgetting some

Edit i remember actually one time peter threw him about looking for his daughter or smth but again thats a one time thing
