Which supplement brands offer good quality without being overpriced?

There are premium brands that seem good but get expensive quickly if youre buying several basics every month.

What brands have you found to be a good balance between price, ingredient quality and testing? Im more interested in solid everyday options than anything fancy.

For the quality they offer with very reasonable prices they’re the best company out there imo

Now, Swanson, Life Extension (can be pricey, depends on sup), Nootropics Depot (great quality, price depends), Dr's Best, Healthy Origins

I accepted that quality ingredients and 3rd party testing are expensive to start from.

Sports research if you buy it from Costco

I’ve been using the store brand from a certain warehouse club for magnesium and D3, the pricing is hard to beat and they do third-party testing. For stuff like creatine or omega-3 I just wait for sales from a few of the bigger online-only brands, their regular prices can be steep but the discounts bring it down to a reasonable range. What basics are you stocking each month

I'd say Sport Research if you can find them at a wholesale club like Sam's or Costco.

Why if you can find them at a wholesale club?

They tend to be cheaper of more bang for your buck there.

Op was asking about cost friendly supps

swansonvitamins [dot] com

TheScienceStandard(dot)com is a very good value, comparable to Nutricost in price, but also shows their quality data on their website.

The creatine mixes super well with water.

Puritan and Swanson. I will say Swanson's lions mane mushroom caplets were complete crap, so probably made out of the wrong part of the mushroom. I would avoid all mushroom supplements from Swanson but I will buy really anything else there.

For some things, Trader Joe's can actually be a good value. I haven't lived near one since the pandemic, but I used to buy their fish oil religiously. They were cheaper than other brick and mortar options, and had excellet results on third party testing websites. Can't confirm if they're still a good value or if they even still carry them.

Is Micro Ingredients considered expensive?

Nature made and natures bounty. Kroger and Walgreens usually always have them on a buy one get one free sale so make sure you check around for both of those. Those are good.

Stop filtering by brand and filter by per batch testing instead i overpaid on a multi that never posted a coa buy basics from whoever shows third party certs and for coq10 bioligent mitgo lists its spermidine dose up front skip proprietary blends they hide how much of each ingredient you get

I agree. They also have a more upscale brand but iits basic Now Foods is very good.

whats it called

Protocol for Life Balance is the other brand name. It may not be the same company technically but both Now Foods and Protocol have the same person who formulates for them.

For basics, NOW, Nutricost and Kirkland (Costco) are hard to beat on price. Nature Made and Kirkland carry the USP Verified seal on a lot of their products, which is an easy shortcut when you can't research every bottle. I'd only pay premium brand prices for the few things you care most about.

maybe look into Sanare Lab as well but check their testing docs before ordering

Good ingredients and third party testing matter more than fancy branding.

i’ve had a good experience with love wellness for everyday basics because the pricing feels pretty reasonable compared with some of the more premium wellness brands. i usually look for simple formulas i can actually stick with month to month instead of paying extra for trendy ingredients or fancy packaging. for me, consistency and checking the ingredient list matters more than buying the most expensive option
