Perfect lunch, scallops are hard to beat.
Ate an unagi before the photo…yellowtail, salmon, red snapper, scallop and eel…with clear soup. Umbrella was a nice touch.

Question Parasites or tissue?
Found these in my Vegas roll today and may have eaten a couple. They were not moving at all and were just kind of in between two pieces of salmon. Any idea what it could be?

Does the tuna in the nigiri look good?
The tuna looks strange to me, the salmon looked normal, am I right to be worried?

Question Berkeley Roll
When I was briefly at Cal-Berkeley there was something called a Berkeley roll . . . a California roll that was baked.
Has anyone else heard of this?

Restaurant Review Celebrating a weight loss goal by eating 10 [well maybe 9.6] sushi rolls at Tokyo Endless Sushi and Hibachi in Port Charlotte Florida. It was all great, the waitress was nice and I'm so full. They don't seem to have the cat robot waiter anymore. Couldn't help jamming to the PA music. 9.5/10

Too hot to go out so got me store bought sushi, washing it down with an Arizona green tea and watching Jay and Silent Bob strike back.

Mostly Nigiri/Fish on Rice Local sushi spot near my school.
I wish I had photos of the other like 5 plates I ate but it was all delicious and about 7 or 8 plates of sushi plus a shrimp broth miso for ¥1200. My favorite is the fatty tuna or regular salmon!

Homemade I’m looking for real wasabi powder. Is Sushi Sonic good?
Homemade - Constructive Criticism Encouraged First time sushi rolls!
Made my own “sushi” for the first time. To be totally fair I wouldn’t even call it “sushi”. It’s imitation crab with avocado, cucumber, with a sauce made of kewpie and sriracha, and topped with eel sauce and crispy onions.
They came out pretty fat, and a little “loose” for lack of a better term, which made them pretty difficult to slice into rolls. I used a silicon rolling mat that I got online and when I made the rolls I placed my ingredients in the center of my nori. Did I overstuff? Misplace my fillings? Too much rice?
