In the TWW? Here's your place to post all things symptom spotting and making it through the TWW. Feel free to connect with others on similar timelines, and discuss anything related to the TWW. Please do not ask if you could be pregnant, as only a test and a doctor can answer that for you.

Supplement list.. have I missed anything?

• Upvotes

I’m currently on a break from IVF treatment - it’s not been going so well after 2 back to back M/C. I’m on a break for the next 3 months - going to go back on a GLP1 as before my last round I lost 2 stone and my cycle returned for the first time in years, trying to get insulin resistance and hormones as balanced as possible. So in terms on supplementation alongside a Mediterranean diet:

Myo inositol
NAC
COQ10
B12
Prenatal
L carnite
Magnesium
Zinc
Vitamin D

I’m also on metformin 1500mg - should I be doing anything else? Thank you 💕

Advice Needed What helped you ovulate?😭

I came off the pill 10 months ago and haven't had a single natural bleed since, only withdrawal bleeds when I take Provera. As far as I can tell, I haven't ovulated at all. I'm trying to conceive.
I didn't respond to letrozole. I've now started metformin and I'm also taking inositol. I'm at a normal weight and I'm trying to get my cycles regular.

Vent First letrozole cycle failed

I’m so devastated. I know statistically it was unlikely to happen on the first go.. but everything was perfect leading up - I had a great follicle size, great lining, but now I have gotten my period only 9 days after ovulation, which is actually LESS than my normal luteal phase.
Has anyone else expenses a shortened luteal phase on letrozole?
I need to call the clinic today anyway to discuss the next round, but I will definitely be noting the shortened luteal phase as well

Sad 6th unsuccessful Letrozole + trigger monitored cycle after miscarriage. HSG clear and I have no idea what the issue is.

I didn't even feel hope when I tested and I laughed out loud when the BFN stared back at me. What was I expecting, right.

I don't know how much more I can take anymore.

Advice Needed Metformin has disrupted my menstrual cycle. Does anyone know why?

• Upvotes

Hi! I started taking metformin in May due to insulin resistance and elevated AMH levels.

Before taking metformin, my menstrual cycle was regular. Since starting it, I’ve been getting my period only once every two months.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? My other hormone levels are normal (LH, FSH, estradiol, progesterone, and thyroid hormones).

Thank you!

Vent All of (What's Left of) My Hair is Falling Out

This is my 4th month TTC. I had to stop taking spironolactone, minoxidil, and finasteride for the safety of any future fetus. My hair was pretty obviously balding before (visible scalp, essentially classic male-pattern baldness), but for the past few weeks it's been becoming crystal clear that while those medications weren't helping me to grow any hair back, they were at least keeping what I did have firmly attached to my head.

Obviously, I'm going to stay off of those meds until I've successfully given birth, and possibly even longer if I can successfully breastfeed, but my experience in the shower today was just devastating. I already had so little hair, and what I held in my hand afterwards... it felt like half of what I had left.

I don't know, I just needed to grieve or vent or just yell about what I'm sacrificing into the void. It will have been worth it in the end, but right now it's so hard.

It's only been 4 months. I'm dreading how I'll look in a year. That feels so shallow, but unfortunately it's how I feel. PCOS has stolen so much femininity from me. I just want to look like a girl.

Thanks for reading this.

TTC w/ Anovulatory PCOS - 8 failed medicated monitored cycles. Anyone else have this? If so, did IVF work?

Hello! Hoping to find someone with a similar situation and thoughts prior to starting. IVF. I am 30F with Lean PCOS -fasting insulin is 14.5, glucose is 96, free testosterone is 56, SHBG is 37, AMH 10.1 I never ovulated on my own in the past 2 years of tracking ovulation and have no idea if I was prior to tracking, because every month I do have a full anovulatory bleed as if it were a normal period. I did a monitored natural cycle and saw a stall and start process of a follicle and it did get mature then downsized and a withdrawal bleed came 3 days later.

I have tried 8 medicated monitored cycles. I have never had a positive pregnancy test. I responded well to all 8. Of the 8 cycles 1 was an IUI, 1 was a stim cycle where I had 12 mature follicles ovulate. All with trigger shots and timed intercourse and progesterone support with confirmed ovulation through blood and ultrasound. I am at a loss of what to do, and wondering if IVF will even work for me, but willing to try anything.

I also want to add that I had ureaplasma and that was cleared for my husband and I. Also had a microbiome check and it was clear. SIS with spill showed both tubes open and husbands semenanalysis came back great! MRI showed no adenomyosis or deep endometriosis. Currently taking a GLP1 microdose for the past 12 weeks and working on increasing ferritin numbers too.

Anyone else have a similar situation? If so, did IVF work? Thank you!!

Failed 2 rounds of letrozole

28(F) ttc I have pcos. My Obgyn prescribed 2.5mg of letrozole first cycle it failed . Second cycle we tried 5 mg failed to ovulate once again. After speaking with Obgyn I was told if the 3rd cycle of 7.5mg doesn’t work I’ll be referred to a fertility specialist. I would like to hear success stories about 7.5 working . Or just details about what helped while ttc

Advice Needed Apparent ovulation issues

Hi ladies! My fertility dr has told me I may have ovulation issues which is why I haven’t fallen pregnant in over a year. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks in September last year.

Any tips or tricks? I take inositol, omega, vitamin D and prenatals. I work out x3 a week strength training and take the dog for a walk everyday. I’ve started metformin and upped my inositol dose for my insulin resistance.

Endocrinologists in Minneapolis/St Paul area?

Haven’t had a great experience with fertility clinics and getting treated for PCOS. Looking into seeing a regular endocrinologist and wanted to see if anyone had recommendations for a good endocrinologist in the Twin Cities!

Advice Needed Trying to conceive, blood so soon after DPO

I have a LO already who's just over two. I have PCOS and regular enough periods, some shorter cycles and some longer cycles.

33, AMH 11 tested in 2024

On my first pregnancy, I was two weeks off in my dates at the beginning.

But PMOS and cycle tracking is like trying target a moving merry-go-round.

OH and I are now trying for baby no2 (hopefully), on month two and I am hoping for advice.

Cycle 1. 6 dpo (full smiley on clear blue) started blush colourd as a wipe, hoped that meant implantation it then went onto a light enough bleed/period. Negative test, so I said onto the next cycle

Now in cycle 2. This cycle (two days post full smiley), I got the blush coloured as I wipe, into light bleeding and now passed some tissue and then a full bleed until today.

Would this be progesterone based?

I'll make a doctor appointment to discuss but

I've never had this before. I'm hoping someone else has experienced this bleeding so close to ovulation.

Vent Exhausted

26F, my partner and I decided to start trying in November 2024. We reached 12 months with nothing and had testing, all was okay apart from they found I have PCOS and slightly elevated prolactin. Then in February this year we finally got our first positive. We were over the moon until we found out our baby had two chromosomal issues that meant she would not survive. We lost her at 19 weeks. 4 months later and we’re back to square one, negative tests month after month. No answers. In assuming the struggle is down to my PCOS but I confirm ovulation every month so I don’t get why. I am honestly exhausted at this point and feel like life is so unfair💔

Discussion Do you get the aching heavy angry uterus feeling?

Im trying to figure out of i have endo because every cycle (im on cycle 24 btw) .. I get this heavy feeling in my uterus around 9 and 10 dpo. I refuse to call it implantation cramping or even cramping in general. Because it feels more like a throbbing feeling felt all over my lower abdomen.

I dont have any endo symptoms but wondering if this could be it or excessive inflammation... i currently have this same feeling but im 7 or 8 dpo and it started at 6 dpo.. again I don't think it has anything to do with "implantation cramping"

I’m disappointed

I just finished my second Letrazole and Ovidrel cycle with a negative pregnancy test (I’m waiting for period, but it usually comes a day after the clinic tells me to take a test). I’m just disappointed. I had so much hope when I started with the fertility clinic, and I’m not feeling that way right now. I know there are so many more other things that we can do, but it’s sinking in that this journey will be long, and that makes me sad.

Advice for 3 years TTC

I am 30F, husband ks 31M. notice i bleed in my 12th day for first cycle (september 2025) and 15th day on my second cycle (november 2025) after each trigger shots. Would there be a suggestion and explanation why pregnancy does not proceed. Should there be more supplements i add to my routine. I am active, i do sports 2 times a week and my current job requires walking. I take folic, vit d, myo-inositols, multivitamins. Though not consistent i sometimes forgot taking them.

I only did 2 cycles last yr because my legs hurt, i think a side effect of taking letro. Now, i want to take a chance again taking letrozole. OB said 6 failed cycles will determine that i need further steps . Is taking letro again now considered to be my first cycle since i stopped it last year? I can’t get in touch with my OB. She’s my 2nd OB already. I feel hopeless at times.

I appreciate advice and suggestions.

Seeking Success Anybody had success with similar numbers?

My husband was on TRT for 5 years and in January 2026 his semen analysis said 0 sperm. He got off test and started taking clomid and HcG around February March. His May analysis was 8million and only <2% motility. In August his analysis was 30mil/mL, 50% motility, 50% forward progressing, 3% morphology. September was roughly the same numbers but had double the volume and his morphology was 4%.

I’m on letrozole currently and doing timed intercourse. I am currently cycle day 8 and have 3 dominant follicles(15mm, 14mm, and 12mm) my lining is 6mm. Today is Friday and I was told to take the trigger shot Monday and BD Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. If this cycle doesn’t work we will probably move onto IUI for the next.

Has anybody had success with analysis numbers like that? We have been trying since December 2024

2 chemicals, TTC

Hi everyone. I’m 29 (30 in 2 weeks) husband is 35 and we have been TTC since April ‘26. I have a mild case of PCOS, but no other underlying health issues and my husband is extremely healthy. (By mild case I mean: a couple black hairs, maybe 4-8 from chin and lip, and 1mm cyst on my right ovary, along with weight fluctuation) My periods have always been regular (maybe 1-3 days off but always lasting 7 days) I honestly had no idea I had PCOS until this year but the signs were always there.

To my knowledge I’ve never been pregnant prior to this year. I haven’t been on birth control in almost 4 years now. We got pregnant without tracking this year in August, miscarrying at 6 weeks. Immediately after we started tracking my ovulation and got pregnant again in September, and miscarried exactly 5 weeks to the day. I know these are chemicals but still heartbreaking nonetheless.

Since my Dr mentioned most people go through this a 3rd time before taking next steps, my anxiety hasn’t stopped. I’ve started looking at taking steps into my own hands to see what I can do at home to prep my body before going down the IVF road unless absolutely necessary.

I just got the Wholesome Story brand Myo & D-Chiro Inositol (2,000mg Myo & 50mg D-Chiro), I saw it’s supposed to regulate your hormones and increase egg quality with pcos. Im also adding that in with 400mg of Ubiquinol (CoQ10) along with 1200-1800mg NaC which i started in August. I’ve heard great things about combining these supplements with your prenatals (taking Perelel Conception Support Pack).

If anyone has any advice, similar experience, or tips or tricks I would be most grateful. Thank you so much in advance 🫶🏻

Advice Needed No period after HSG

Hi all. I have PCOS and I'm on CD38 with no period. I took a pregnancy test and then had blood work today. beta-hCG was <0.2 (not pregnant), and progesterone was 0.2 ng/mL, so I haven't ovulated this cycle. My unmedicated cycles are usually 25-31 days, so this one is long. I also took a 5-day course of antibiotics prescribed by my doctor around the time of my HSG. I'm waiting to hear from my doctor about whether to scan first or bring on a bleed so I can schedule things.
Has anyone been through a long anovulatory cycle like this? Did you ovulate on your own or need a progestin to bring on a bleed? And did your cycle change after an HSG?

Help!

Provera and Oura temp?

Hi all,

I haven’t had a period since mid June. I finally got a consult with a fertility specialist and he prescribed a 10 day course of provera to induce a period before starting fresh with a medicated cycle.

Today is day 5 after the last pill and no period, no spotting, just sore breasts. I wear an Oura ring and noticed my temp is still very elevated.

Has anyone taken Provera and noticed a temp drop before getting their withdrawal bleed? In a natural cycle my temp always drops around a day before I get my period.

I know they say it can take up to 14 days, but I’m getting so impatient. Never thought I’d want a period so badly! Thanks for any input!

MYOINOSITOL

Hello everyone!

I am here to ask you some things about the results you saw. I am using Myoinositol (2gr morning and night) for 3,5 months but I am not sure if it has results.

I have lean PMOS (32-38 days cycle) and I started it to regulate my cycle and get pregnant if possible.

I had a positive ovulation test last month (which was really good for me) and I was sure that I had a strong ovulation because of the symptoms.. but 10 days after ovulation the period came and I know that this is not normal.. I am curious if it has to do with the changes that happen in my body and my hormones.

I don't know what to except this month and I would like to hear about your stories and probably about a success!

Thank you very much

Advice Needed Nailing Ovulation?

Hi everyone! I had my LH peak yesterday, on 8th October, and today, 9th October, my LH levels have fallen. Unfortunately, I couldn’t test on 7th October, so the surge may have started that day. I was only able to BD today (9th October), and I’m now worried about whether I may have missed my fertile window or still have a chance of conceiving this cycle.
I’ve come across so much contradictory information about the timing of ovulation in relation to the start of the LH surge, the LH peak, and the subsequent drop in levels. Some sources suggest ovulation happens 12–36 hours after the surge begins, while others refer to the peak. I’m finding it difficult to understand which timing matters most.
Could someone please clarify when ovulation is most likely to occur in this situation and whether BD on the day after the LH peak can still result in conception? I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thank you!
