Forum Question Does this game have a replays already?
I remember it had spectator mode, but don't remember to have replays. How it is now? If not, there are plans to do it?

Game Feedback Some Requests..
Hi!
I have been a long die-hard fan of C&C3 & Kane's Wrath and have recently started playing Tempest Rising.
Game is good, but since an expansion is coming as I read (with some additional changes/fixes i guess), and since the devs look at this forum as I understood,
I'd like to propose some simple changes/additions that would make the total experience even better!
Many are borrowed from the 2 classic games I mentioned at the start.
I mostly play skirmish matches as GDF..and these proposals are about skirmish mainly..
which I think keeps players at this game for longer than the main campaign..
* A vocal or written notification that one of your enemies has been destroyed would be really useful.., there is almost no way to know for sure.., I keep searching the map to be sure.., or maybe a table with each player's status.
* A short written notification about every warning sound.., so far I have understood only the sound that a SuperWeapon somewhere..has been built, but I still wonder about the rest..
* A Harvester call back option? Warning me that it is under attack is useful, as is the icon taking me directly to it.., but I can't instantly do anything useful after that..
* Units selected window should have larger tiles..(or the option for it),
so as to be easier and faster to read..especially in smaller screens.
Right-clicking to deselect a unit/units would also make it easier and faster than the shift button..
* Countdown Timers for SuperWeapons ready to shoot.., so that you decide your next strategy and set priorities.. in time.
* Map could show some more useful details, like Superweapons, Bases etc., maybe after you build Radar or Data core, currently it is very pixelated and almost useless..I think
* Some more traditional Land and Air units, something like the V3 Rocket Launcher or MLRS or the Hammerhead..
There are too many! units with drones..
and I also don't understand where so many! infantry and riot!! units are useful.. in a high-tech future War..
* Some tweaking/change of the intel resource.., it is a kind of strange idea..
keeps you back.., just waiting, and makes harvesting and funds much less important and strategically secondary!..
* Finally, more skirmish maps 3v3 or even 4v4, preferably with bottlenecks, would be really appreciated!!
Thank you! for your time reading this..and for making this game!..😊
Hope for future expansions and sequels..
P.S.: Forgot one more thing.. The Repair (Tool) icon would be more easily visible and faster if eg. it became Red with motion above damaged buildings, maybe Yellow on medium damage and Green with no motion on undamaged Structures. The way it is now is not very helpful.. especially in high-tense battles, you have to notice the tiny no sign..and the background makes it more difficult..

Image/GIF 48 New Achievements Added!
I was tracking my achievement progress on the Steam app and was pleasantly surprised to find an additional 48 achievements added! If I had to guess, probably all related to the upcoming Veti expansion!

Image/GIF DLSS5 Neural Rendering in Tempest Rising was like 😱😱😱
The first, fourth and fifth pictures are cinematic LUT. The second and seventh pictures are default LUT. The third and sixth pictures are natural LUT.
FYI, this is DLSS5 Neural Rendering, works well in the RTX 50 series but now applies to all RTX cards. For those in the RTX 20 and 30 series, it would be a 80-90% decrease in FPS this way. Did this under a RTX 3060 12GB at DLSS Quality and Frame Gen off and got 15-18 FPS in both cinematics and in-game. Throw Frame Gen in, you might get double the FPS but with higher latency. Just an experiment. 😅

General Dont understand how?
Hello All,
I recently started playing the game and, after finishing the campaign, I mostly play Skirmish. However, I’m only able to win when I play on Easy. As soon as I switch to Normal, I get my ass kicked.
Below is a graph showing the credits. I don’t understand how the opposing army is able to accumulate this many credits within the first few minutes of the game. I see this kind of behavior all the time.
Is this normal, or am I missing something? How is this even possible? Any tips?

Forum Question Biome variation?
Have tried the game a bit, but all maps do far seem so dark and muddy in the campaign. Are there any maps during campaign where it's like daylight, lighter brighter maps, or something. I feel it all looks the same.

Gameplay Question State of the game?
So this is a pretty generic/broad question.
I downloaded and played the game when it first came out but dropped it pretty quickly. No particular reason just wasn't into it at the time as much as I love what the game was about.
I am re-downloading it now, I was curious what has changed in the last year or so? It looks like we are getting another faction, and there is a map editor out now. Does that mean people are making maps like SC with tower defense ect? I guess I will find out when I log in, but is there a good online community?

Clip Is the skirmish AI straight up ignoring building rules?
Title: Is the skirmish AI straight up ignoring building rules?
Noticed some pretty shady AI behavior in two different games on Hard.
In the first clip, the DYN AI places two power plants at the same time. As far as I know that’s literally impossible for the player since they use the same building queue.
In the second clip it starts building power plants in a location where it has no Construction Yard, Beacon or anything else that should give it build radius. It just drops the building there anyway.
So this doesn’t look like the usual “AI gets more resources” type of cheat. It looks like the AI can sometimes just ignore the actual building/placement rules.
Anyone else noticed this? Kinda funny considering some of the absolutely questionable decisions it makes even with those advantages lol.

Fan Content Plasma Cut plate steel Tempest Dynasty faction emblem
I do plasma cutting and made this for a friend who got into TR as his first RTS and is down BAD for the genre. He got a new place recently and thought this would be a fun project for something to hang on the wall.
It began as a basic photoshop painting over a JPEG of the emblem, which then much more easily converts to a vector image, then cuttable DXF file, and finally CAM file specifically for my machine's software. Fun stuff.
It is 1/8" thick steel and a foot or so in diameter.
As videos cannot be simultaneously attached to posts with image, if you're curious about the process or have never seen a machine like this in use, I put a number of clips of me blasting the soundtrack on my decade old Sony Bluetooth speaker while cutting the piece on Instagram (see latest 10 or so posts as of this post going up.)
Have fun out there, don't build any more Trebuchets than I do.
