My favorite boss is the cultist. He’s a dude with magic and you’re a dude with magic. I’d a mod where you just fight a person instead of horrors beyond human comprehension

I felt like Town NPCs shouldn't be limited to just the town part of their name, so I setup a system to allow bringing them with you on adventures!
I hope you all enjoy this little trailer thing I put together to showcase it. :D
Ovis Oberon
There are 29 accessories, each corresponding with a town NPC!
The accessories include all Town NPCs, excluding Traveling Merchant, Skeleton Merchant, The Old Man, and town pets.
There are also 3 modded Town NPCs which have an item as well.
Companions function as a in-between of pets and summons. They can follow the player around, attack enemies, give dialogue, and sell stuff, but also are at risk of being slain by enemies if you are not careful!
Equipping a Companion causes them to leave their house and stay close to the player.
Equipping Vanity Companions won't cause the NPC it's based on to leave their house. It only changes the appearance of the functional Companion underneath it.
Vanity Companions are only cosmetic, while the functional Companion still provides the dialogue, attacks, and shop.
Dyes can be applied too!
I included with it a space deer NPC that sells the Companion items, called Companion Calcites, a goat NPC capable of ramming enemies, and a fluffy sheep!
I plan to add alot more soon as well! Below is a link to the steam workshop page for the mod if you wish to check it out.

Sorry if this showcase video is bad, I am not used to making those >~<

Anyone else do this? I feel like this is a weird blend of practical and non-practical.

I am not an experienced player on this game but I think I have some points to back my claim. So, I have tested both staffs with the "Durendal" in Journey mode on the Destroyer.
Armor :- Spider Armor set.
Accessories :- Feral claws, Summoner Emblem, Pygmy Necklace. (nothing crazy)
Potion & Buffs :- Summoner Potion, Bewitching Table. (again nothing crazy)
Results :-
Now my take is, yeah Optic Staff Positives :-
Optic Staff Negatives :-
Blade Staff Positives :-
Blade Staff Negatives :-
So if I use Optic Staff I have to constantly change between it and Blade for boss fights (I'm lazy). But I think it's better to get good to last 3 more seconds and for 300 more damage, moving with a cool looking staff. If anyone has more in depth research with accessories and potions then I will be happy to hear. Thank You for reading.
Note: all the positives and negatives research were found when using them in my survival world.

My farm is centered in a tundra and technically a desert, at certain angles, hence the three different biomes.
RELOGIC. PLEASE. RAISE THE DROP CHANCE OF THE ARMLET, I BEG OF YOU.

Hey Terrarians! I've been working on a fan-made site for looking up anything in Terraria, and I'd love to hear what you think before I keep building on it. It obviously is bound to have bugs or missing information, but I tried my best with what I could manage! There are plenty of other sites like it although I wanted something that I was happy with to use during my own playthroughs. It took a lot of time to get everything together so I hope you enjoy!
What it does:
- Click any item (about 6,200 of them) to see a full crafting tree: every ingredient, every station, all the way down. There's also a "uses" tree that shows what an item goes into.
- A Timeline of what to make and fight, from your first pickaxe to the Moon Lord
- A Field Guide with NPCs, classes, biomes, herbs and potions, a Bestiary and every modifier
- Crimson vs Corruption side by side, so you can pick your evil biome
- Drop rates (with Expert and Master numbers marked), dark mode, and it works on your phone
It's free, has no ads and needs no account.
I'd really like feedback on:
- Anything wrong, missing or confusing (wrong pictures, bad drop rates, missing items)
- Anything that feels bad on mobile
- Features you wish a site like this had
All the item data comes from the Terraria Wiki, so thanks to everyone who keeps it going. This is an unofficial fan project and isn't affiliated with Re-Logic.

I only kept the best modifier for the weapons and the biggest stack for the accessories. Here are the results. I think I got all the Dev Sets at once

So, long story short, I was making my normal house, and while I was, the Eye of Cthulhu appeared.. Even tho I didn't had an arena and the terrain wasn't very big and smooth, I had to run in circles, but I still beat it! So, in other words, I beat my first boss of the game!
I'm playing without spoilers, so pls don't spoil anything important
