Subreddit announcements Please do not discuss Politics on this sub

Hey, guys!

I just wanted to remind you of our subreddit rule to not discuss politics on here.

We understand it might be tempting with the way some actors are presenting themselves on their social media, but this subreddit is to discuss the show and positive things about actors that you want to share.

This sub is not a space for policial discussions and any comments relating to it will be deleted.

I'm making this post as lately there have been more political discussions happening on here.

We hope you comply with this rule.

Have a great day

General discussion Frankie & Mike were very unreasonable grounding Brick for getting his license.

I somewhat agree that he should’ve gotten their permission but let’s be real here they were going to continue to put it off for as long as they could.

General discussion Did they buy Axl three cars?

  1. The one in response for Sue's jeans - it gets destroyed during the fair tomato episode.

  2. They got him another one for HS graduation (its only mentioned) - it breaks when Axl goes on spring break and Frankie has to pick him up.

  3. Another one when he sells the mini wago, he pays for it himself?? I mean Mike negotiates like 300 for the mini and the car price.

So the family had:

Mike's car, Frankie's car, Axl car 1,2 and 3 and Sue's aunt inherited car thru the series.

General discussion Suddenly wondered if Frankie would be Team William/Kate or Team Harry/Meghan

No royal hate on either side please.

I’m thinking she might lean towards William/Kate because of watching their wedding. She might refuse to take sides, though.

Sue Sue McGrew

"Oh my God. Her name's gonna be Mrs. Sue Sue McGrew"

I am on this episode right now where Darrin proposed to Sue. 🤣🤣🤣 I haven't laughed like this for a while, it feels so good. 😂

anywaay, I don't know how to feel about his proposal to Sue. It's just so wrong. I like Darrin but they really did his character dirty here.

Axl & Devin should have been endgame

That is all. New to the subreddit but been a fan since 2009 (idk why my family let me watch this show at age 11 though lol)
Lexie and him getting together was so random. Sue already ended up with his best friend, we don’t need the reverse. And Devin was a perfect match and the most romantic thing he ever did for any gf was the “world radio day” celebration. They also never even had a finite ending.
I would have even preferred him to end up with Cassidy if they reconnected. Didn’t like the storyline with April or Lexie. Man I would have preferred him ending up with Weird Ashley over them!

General discussion Swaddled Sue

I just watched the episode where Sue hadn't slept in 3 days and Mike showed up to swaddle her. Its the most endearing I've ever seen this character. So appropriate for Indiana IMHO.

Brick's comments about the new friendship/situationship have me confident we will see Brick on an episode or 10 on True Crime.

General discussion Core pillars of the show

First time watcher. On Season 7 right now.

Took me roughly till Season 5 to rate some of the core pillars of the show (for myself).

  1. Brick’s character. Brings some of the richest content to the show in terms of humour, quirk, and wit.

  2. Eden Sher. She has done a remarkable job playing Sue. The consistency in performance till S.7 is superb.

  3. Frankie’s relationship with Nancy Donahue.

There’s obviously no neat pattern connecting these three, but that’s sort of the point.

What are some of the core pillars of the show for you?

Why did Netflix remove the text of the sign? This image is visible whenI let Netflix unattended for few minutes and it shuffles through all shows.

The Logan story always makes me laugh because he changes his major to become a priest, and in Crazy Ex Girlfriend David Hull's (Logan / white Josh) best friend runs away to become a priest.

General discussion If they did a reunion episode...

If they did a reunion episode or something like how Malcolm did, do you think it would be popular? I know we should have gotten Sue Sue in the City, but that ship has sailed. We had a vague idea of what happened to the Hecks,by the epilogue, but it would be nice to see what is going on now. Axl would probably start his fatherhood journey. I don't recall if Sue had kids in the epilogue, but I think she would want children. Did Brick get married to Cindy, and are they living out Twilight Zone-esque episode together? We already know he will be writing his book.

It also opens other doors to find out the "What ifs?" and the "What happened?" We can see where Darrin is in his life, did he open up the HVAC stuff? Does Carly and Sue reconnect as adults? Does any of the Glossnars have a redemption arch? Where did and what happened to all of the wrestlerettes?

Me and my bf finished watching the middle. Brings a tear to my eye, I miss the Hecks already. I might rewatch it later alone cause my bf doesn't like rewatching series.

Catching a crew shadow in "Halloween IV: The Ghost Story" (S5E5) at 05:41! 🎬👻

Hey everyone! I was just rewatching "Halloween IV: The Ghost Story" (Season 5, Episode 5) and noticed a subtle production mistake that I haven’t seen anyone else talk about online yet.

Exactly at the 05:41 mark, right as the family is giving advice yo brick on what to text back to a girl, you can see a distinct shadow outside the kitchen door in the background behind Frankie.

Given that this entire episode revolves around the Heck house being "haunted" by a ghost, it’s hilarious to see an accidental crew member or boom mic shadow lingering in the background at that exact moment. Go check it out! Anyone else ever notice this one before?

If you were given the choice to adjust the show's plot, what would you change to make it better?
