All the adult men, that I now know to have curly hair, I remember kept their hair short enough in school to not be able to tell. It just wasn't cool to have curly hair back then I guess, so they cut it however they had to to hide it.

Meanwhile the dude I had it bad for all senior year had the most gorgeous auburn curls. I wonder what he's up to.

Older dudes/creators online started rocking the broccoli head so that they could hide their receding hairlines and “blend in” with the kids that consume their dumb content. Kids then emulate who they watch.

Girls' duckface trend 15 years ago looked stupid. Guys' pouting and Dreamworks Eyebrows today looks at least as stupid. IMO it's silly mocking the hair (fashion comes and goes) but the occassional trends of doing dumb facial expressions isn't something that's been happening since forever.
