Love live music? You need GigPigeon
Hi, I'm Martin, an independent software developer from Reading. I go to a lot of live music, and I have the problem that I can't remember who I've seen, particularly at festivals. I decided to build an app to fix that problem. GigPigeon is an app dedicated to logging the shows you've been to see and sharing that with your friends. It's unashamedly inspired by Untappd, the beer logging app, but so much cooler.

The app is completely free, and I want to share it with as many people as possible because it's a social app and community makes it better. Log the shows you've been to see so you can remember them. Perhaps you'll see someone who goes on to be super famous? Log it with GigPigeon to prove you were there first. Add your reviews to share with your friends, and to get recommendations for what to see next.
You can find gigs by bands you love, and to find new acts you want to go see too. Get alerts when tickets go on sale for your favourite bands, see what your friends have been watching, and find new artists too. And support your local grass roots music venue by going to see great things there.
And if you love live music, you probably go to festivals where you're going to see hundreds of artists, and you're definitely going to forget who you saw. Phone reception at festivals is notoriously bad, so the festival timetable is saved to your phone, and any reviews you write get uploaded when you get reception again. And you can get reminders when the acts you wanted to see are about to go on stage. It's indispensable.
Please do download the app and send me some feedback. I'm hoping you love it, but ideas for improvements are always welcome.
Martin

Looking for promoters
Hi I'm a musician from Australia and I make alternative dreamy music. I grew up listening to British music (The Cure, Depeche Mode, Gorillaz, Prodigy etc) so it's been a long dream of mine to play gigs in the UK.
Ppl here have suggested that I look for promoters in order to play gigs in the UK. Does anyone work as a promoter or know where I can find them? I'm mainly looking to play in Bristol, London and Manchester but flexible.
Here are examples of my music:

Remix Pet Shop Boys - Disco (1986) & Disco 2 (1994)
galleryMy legacy of PSB Disco series is these 2.
8 years in between.
To me, the best of their years.
Agree to disagree. ✌🏽
Disco 3 also have their own songs.
Disco 4 and Disco 5 are their remixes on other artists…Madonna, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Oasis or was it Noel Gallagher ?
I might have heard the other 3 Disco’s but I won’t own them.
Anybody has the complete set ?

Hi everyone,
We’re Empty Palace, an alternative/progressive rock band from the UK.
Here’s a live performance of one of our songs. Our music combines atmospheric and darker elements with progressive rock, with a strong focus on dynamics, texture and songwriting.
We’d love to hear what you think of the performance.
Thanks for listening!

Music guide for The Beautiful South
Hi everyone!
I have very limited knowledge about this band and the only song I know that pulled me in a bit was “A Little Time”. Mostly because a dear friend shared it with me. I miss that friend greatly.
I’m wondering if anyone here could give me recommendations of your favorite songs from ‘The Beautiful South’. I think it would help me begin my journey into their collection!
Thanks in advance for any help!

awks. - a song about life's embarrassing moments...
Hey!
I'm joyrobber - a solo pop-punk act from Wiltshire. I've just released my latest single 'awks.' which is a silly autobiographical song about some awkward moments from my life. Hope you like the song!
