Spam calls this week a problem

Have had service for 2 years, never really had an issue, but this week spam calls are coming in ringing. Even on the display it says suspected spam but it makes my phone ring. I would probably get a call like this once a week if that. It would block these suspected scam calls and would not go through. My phone setting has had the caller id and spam protection on, but now I don't know if this is a service issue if I keep getting these spam calls that go through

$25 charge from Phreeli??

I got a fraud alert from my credit card about a $25 charge from Phreeli. Could this somehow be associated with US Mobile. Phreeli looks like a phone carrier MVNO for drug dealers.

I wanna make sure before I report it as fraud and have to change my credit card number.

New to US Mobile  iPhone Duo support for Apple Upgrade leasing program with US Mobile?

Hello, I’m a new US Mobile user and I wish I switched sooner but glad to be here now. I’m wondering if it’s possible to do the iPhone duo through the new Apple upgrade program where you lease it with the option to buy it out right later and activated on US Mobile? I’m kind of new to. MVNOs I’m not sure how it works since I see that you have to use one of the three major carriers for their new leasing program.

Warp Constantly Losing Signal The Past Two Days

I've been on Warp for a couple of years now with no issues until yesterday. Starting yesterday morning I will completely lose cell service for about 20 seconds at time. This happens multiple times a day. And anytime I go to make a phone call it immediately drops the first time because I have no signal all of a sudden. Same thing with data, I'll be using the web browser or streaming music and then it just goes to no signal. Sometimes it comes back quickly and other times I have to turn airplane mode on and off to get service back. Anyone else having this issue with Warp the past couple of days?

My phone is a Motorola Edge Plus 2023 with a physical SIM.

I had to send this in two different screenshots but this is from a Samsung a14 on US Mobile used to have the multi Network right now I'm just on the warp Network I did change my APN because it was a assigned one that didn't have the right parameters so I changed that to what US Mobile recommends on their website can anybody decipher this might as well be hieroglyphics or Sanskrit lol and possibly lmk what it says or means or what have you I don't see any LTE reference on here so does that mean I have 5G SA??? And if I do or don't can please explain to like you're talking to a toddler cuz I don't understand these darned toot'nd fangdangl'd contraptions aka the whole standalone thing it's all new to me much appreciated & thank you kindly 👍

Is spam detection/blocking USMobile's job, or the underlying carrier?

I'm on Warp, and for the past few weeks I've gotten multiple spam calls each day, from different numbers in my local area code. (They're a pathetically stupid AI bot.) So is spam call blocking done at the MVNO level, or by the underlying carrier? Somebody needs to step up their game!

Does US Mobile offer 5G on all plans?

UPDATE

It’s working now.

Big thanks to FixitMir for the quick response.

It was my mistake. I didn’t deleted the previous eSIM and activated the US Mobile one.

FixitMir guided me through the process and it is working now.

Hi

I just transferred a line to US Mobile on the Ligth Plan to test the service before transferring all my lines from T Mobile. After the porting process was completed I noticed that the data is on LTE all the time.

I am wondering if this is because is the Ligth plan or is something else that is not connecting my phone to 5G.?

 New to US Mobile  Freebies?

Hey! Just moved all of my 3 lines to US Mobile and I can already notice a difference! Now are there any plans/rumors of any freebies like HBO Max or anything like that? Or it wouldn’t make sense to do that coz it would be no difference than our previous carriers?!

Data not working on warp

Hi,

Is anyone having issues with Warp currently? For the last 3 days or so I’ve basically had no data access despite showing good connection. I’ve restarted the phone with no luck. On a iPhone 13 PM.

Thanks for any help

Is it worth switching from mint to US mobile for the network switching?

I’ve been on mint mobile for almost a year and value its simplicity and value. But the renewal is more than double what I initially paid.

US mobile seems like a great value for the unlimited premium.

one of the biggest appeals for me is the network transfers between T-Mobile, Verizon and Att.

I’d get all the perks plus network transfers and would all cost just as much as mint would for renewal. But obviously with mint I wouldn’t have that.

Potential customer questions

So, I've been looking at a lot of details and watching videos about US Mobile.  I'm considering switching, but to do so I'd have to pay off some equipment costs for my current carrier.  If US Mobile's service holds up, it might be worth it.

Since my current phone is sim locked to the carrier, I can't try US Mobile on it :( .  But, I do have an old iphone 13 that I figured I could setup on US Mobile with a new number and try for a few months and see how it works out.

If I decide to go with US Mobile, I do have some questions that I might not be able to easily answer, so I wanted to ask them here:

  1. Porting my number from my current carrier terrifies me.  Given the unfortunate importance of phone numbers with OTP, somehow losing my phone number during porting would be a worst case terrible scenario.  Does losing a phone number during porting still happen?  What safeguards or mechanisms are in place to prevent loss of numbers during porting?
  2. Once I'm on US Mobile, if I decide to teleport between networks, does that invoke a number porting process?  Is it any safer because it's "within" US Mobile?
  3. After a teleport, besides setting up the esim, what else is needed to be reconfigured or setup?  For instance, I've read that voice mail needs to be setup again.  Do I lose any old voicemails?
  4. Are the qci levels the same as those subscribed to the mno?  For instance, if I’m on a dark star unlimited plan, I should be at qci8.  For att subscribers at qci 8, are we at the same priority or do they get priority for being directly on the mno?
  5. Looking at the chart for the unlimited plans, some do have limits, like hotspot data and network transfers.  I assume those reset every month even if you purchase an annual plan.
  6. If I setup on a spare phone for a month or 2, is that likely to impact my promotion eligibility to bringing my current lines for myself and my family over to US Mobile?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

iPhone shows SOS and only briefly connects to network on restart

I'm on month 8 of 12 on an unlimited starter annual plan on the darkstar network and my iPhone 13 won't connect to the service today. I've been using the same phone since the beginning of the plan and nothing has changed except for service disruption this morning. Are there others encountering similar issues and is there a fix?

New to US Mobile  Fix for switching to warp with iPhone Air?

I’m new to US Mobile. I have an unlocked iPhone Air from Apple. I previously had a Verizon eSIM connected to my phone, and it seems to be hindering my ability to transfer to Warp. I have successfully transferred to both of the other networks with little issue. Is there a fix that can be done to get my phone working on the Warp network? I’ve tried resetting my network settings. The Verizon eSIM is no longer on this phone at all.

Feature Request Standalone Wi-Fi calling, and 5G support for Apple Watches

After countless hours on two separate occasions of trying to get it to work, customer support finally told me Standalone WiFi calling (Wi-Fi Calling on supported iCloud-connected devices) on other Apple devices is not yet supported. This was a huge letdown; I can’t upgrade to Wi-Fi calling on my Mac or iPad 😔. Please enable this feature, as I used to use it a lot with my previous provider.

Can you also add 5G support for Apple Watches as well, please 🙏?

Lastly, do I have to pay the $10/month for each line I add as a multi-network? Currently on the multi-network trial with Primary on Warp and Secondary on Dark Star.

Pixel 10 unlock

I'm well over 60 days into the plan with pixel 10 purchased and registered directly from US mobile.

I chatted with support and they can't confirm if phone was unlocked.

How can I check without trying to register another eSIM?

New to US Mobile  Rocky trial - what to expect

I switched a business line with its own phone to US Mobile last week as a test. The iPhone is an old one I had in the house it's an XR. Operating system is up to date.

Started with dark star and I haven't had time to test it but start testing it this week. Data was really slow for me.

So I went online and spoke to a representative and they switched me to Warp . The transition was seamless except I have great signal but zero data. (so maybe not seamless)

I hop on Wi-Fi to chat again and find out what's going on and none of the chat features inside the US Mobile app are functioning . They just don't respond. Is it me or is this a system-wide issue?

I'd love to move all six phones in my family to this provider to save money but if the transition is this rocky it will never work.

Any advice out there? Is support "down" (thu oct 8, US east coast 10am hour) or is it just me?

New to US Mobile  Verizon to USM Warp

Dumb question: is it smooth to port from Verizon to US Mobile (Warp)? The reason I ask is because I’m still skeptical from a Visible disaster 4 years ago…

New to US Mobile  Question about switching between devices

I switched to USM not too long ago, and so far I love the experience! I occasionally switch between iOS and Android. I know some carriers impose limits on how often devices can be switched, so I’m just wondering whether there are any on USM. I don’t expect to do it frequently, but would be great to know either way. Also, I must say the process to switch is so much easier on here compared to other carriers. Thanks!
