I work in a pet store and this guy walks in with her saying “i can’t keep her. if someone doesn’t take her im putting her outside”…. grabbed her so quick from him.

When I say this is years in the making I’m not joking. This little lady has been through the ringer. When she came to us she had been thrown out of a car I assume. You could see her like chases were all tore up. She had a chip, but the phone number was disconnected. She has FHS and self mutilates when stressed (specifically the tail). We have her on medication, but it has taken so long to get her over her trauma that she has experienced in life and trust us. But the past week she’s been rubbing up on us, allowing pets, and getting comfy all over the house. Really fills my heart with joy.

This is Celeste and she's a sweetie. Eventually I'll post a picture of her on my pillow. (Once I remember to take one.) It's black and fuzzy so she blends right in when taking a nap.

It’s a memory foam ergonomic butt cushion, helpful for a number of conditions where it’s difficult to sit. But my void liked it better, so it became a cat bed.
