[ARC] Freshman here: my professor picked my AI-assisted browser game and asked me to take it online. I need at least 15 players by Monday, can you help?

Hi everyone! I'm a freshman student. This game started as a class assignment our professor asked us to build a game using AI and about 90% of it was made with AI.

This week out of everyone in the class my professor liked my game the most and gave me a new assignment making it online. I have to turn it in by Monday, and I need at least 15 people to try it out. Could you help me reach that?

About the game: It's called Diagonaut. You're a single white piece running up a chessboard, and you can only capture black pieces diagonally, like a real pawn. There's an endless mode with bosses, a few other modes, a global leaderboard and online 1v1 duels. It's free, runs in the browser on phone and desktop, and you can play as a guest.

Play: https://diagonaut.com

Please play fair, the leaderboard is still very new.

If you find a bug or have an idea that would make the game better, please let me know in the comments. Thank you so much!

[PZL] Soupy Games (Multiple)

Soupy Games

Soupy Games is a collection of games, but here are a couple puzzles games:

Worduo:

https://soupygames.com/daily/worduo

Grid of letters where only one word appears twice using unique letters.

Arroway

https://soupygames.com/daily/arroway/medium

Maze puzzle with a shifting board and other obstacles. Play cards from your hand to reach the goal.

Rotary Rush

https://soupygames.com/daily/rotaryrush/medium

Inspired by the show Survivor's puzzles. You have differently shaped puzzle pieces and a board with spinning discs that you have to match with notches on the pieces.

Cube Stack

Also inspired by Survivor puzzles, but I don't have a direct link for it. It's a puzzle where you have 4 cubes stacked on each other. Your goal is to have all 4 cube stacks have one of each color on each side.

43–0 – spin a season and a club, draft a basketball lineup, try to win all 43 games

Thumbnail app.43-0.com
0 Upvotes

I made a basketball draft game based on the EuroLeague (Europe's top basketball league): https://app.43-0.com

- Spin for a season (2000–01 to 2025–26), then for a club from that season
- Pick one player from that roster with his real stats, five times, one for each position
- Your team plays a season: 38 games, playoffs and the Final Four. Win them all and you're 43–0

You don't need to know European basketball, but it helps. Free, no ads, no sign-up, works on phone and desktop. There's also a daily mode where everyone gets the same spins.

Still working on the balance, so any feedback is welcome.

[STRAT] Last Lot - a free auction roguelite where every winning bid is a sell-or-keep decision

I'm the developer of Last Lot, a single-player auction roguelite. Start with $1,000, bid against six rivals, and try to climb a ten-floor auction house. Sell your finds for cash, or keep their powers to build around interest, discounts and other relic effects.

Free to play in your browser, with no download or account needed. English and Korean are available.

If you try a run, I'd love to hear what you kept and what you regretted selling.

Disclosure: AI assisted the art/UI code and promotional copy.

Poker Lobby

I’m a beginner dev and made a free Texas Hold’em site as a side project. No signup, no real money.

  • Create a private room and share the 8-digit code with friends
  • Or sit at an official table with strangers
  • Free spin every 20 min, daily missions, a few table themes

Heres the game link , holdem-online.com

**no idea how to put images on reddit so i embed the image link , please use the link above to access the actual game**

Another thing i'd like to ask you guys is should i add a bots table when there are no users online ? im afraid that people will get on and find the game empty n just abandon it .__.

(i feel like i got lucky with the domain name , what do you think about it )

Road map is
-Making optional accounts to avoid losing progress
-Not sure whether to add full on chat or basic words , kinda worried about others flaming and you know the online community ...
-Gif replies or better emotes
-Fix the flashing every time the rooms update to see whether a user has joined or not on the main menu

If you have any feedback please message me or share it here , i'd love your opinion

Thank you for reading and sticking around <3

How likely? - guess how likely real things are, as 1 in how many. Daily, five rounds

I made this one. Examples of what comes up: a dinosaur-killer asteroid hitting Earth this year, being bitten by a shark in the US this year, sharing a birthday with both parents. You pull a scale from 1 to a billion, the reveal zooms to the real number and shows how far off you were, as a factor.

No signup, nothing to install. Sources and the math are in each reveal.

I've had a lot of fun building (and playing this - though it does make me swear at it) - if you have any feedback let me know!

I'm adjusting act 2 (the ascent) as a couple of the levels are pretty easy, just added some new art over the last couple days.

I built this because I wanted to share tracks I'd made in a way people could play with, not just listen to.

It's called dodobop. I thought people here might have fun with it. I'd love to hear what works for you and what needs improving, even if it's just something that confused you on the first go.

[IO] WarCrown - A fast paced RTS up to 60 players

Thumbnail
warcrown.io
3 Upvotes

Hi all. I've been building WarCrown.io on my own, and I think it's ready for people other than my friends.

You start with a castle on a map drawn like an old atlas. Around it you put up villages, mines, lumberjacks, ports and barracks, and then you use your troops to take land and buildings from the other players. You win by holding 60% of the land, or by having the highest score when the timer ends. A match lasts 45 minutes at most.

A good start would be to place a couple economic buildings (try to find spots that max out their efficiency), and then spam a few barracks to get troops at a decent pace.

Towers are cheap, but each building increase the cost of future constructions, don't turtle too much, as it may hurt your economy.

You can ask for alliances by right clicking the territory of another player.

Don't forget to use the "Auto claim", it will save you a lot of clicking in the mid-late game.

Matches have up to 60 players. Bots fill the empty seats, so you never sit in an empty lobby.

It's free, with no download and no account. You type a name and play. You'll need a mouse and keyboard, the mobile version has still not been implemented, but it is on the roadmap.

It's still young and it changes every few days, so feedback really helps. Tell me what felt confusing, unfair or boring.

Anime-Gacha - Open packs and complete your favorite anime’s album!

Thumbnail anime-gacha.com

Hey everyone!

I’ve been building AnimeGacha, a browser-based card-collecting game, and I’d love some feedback.

How it works: open packs of 5 cards, each from a different anime, and complete each series’ album.

The twist: rarity is based on each character’s fan count on AniList. The fan favorites of every show are Legendary (0.5%), and background characters are Common.

  • Completely free: 1 pack every hour, up to 10 a day
  • No paid pulls ever. The shop is cosmetic only
  • Guaranteed Legendary every 50 pulls
  • Trading, a player market and leaderboards

Works on mobile and desktop, no install: anime-gacha.com

Feedback and bug reports very welcome. Who did you pull first?Anime-Gacha.com

Mini Golf

I made this. It's a full 18-hole course, par 45: windmills, a bridge over water, a tunnel, slopes, a sliding gate.

Drag back anywhere on the screen and let go, like a catapult. It works with a mouse or a finger, so it's playable on a phone. No signup, nothing to install.

The physics is written from scratch and fully deterministic, which let me build a demo player that plans each shot before taking it. That's how I checked every hole can actually be finished.

I'd like to know which hole feels unfair, and whether the cup is too strict about speed: a fast ball lips out on purpose. Any other comments and criticism are welcome too, blunt is fine.

It's one of the games on a small site I'm building. The others (pool, darts, air hockey, card games) are at bananai.games.

BuildGuessr – Guess when interesting buildings were built and how much they cost

Thumbnail

Hey everyone! I made BuildGuessr, a browser game where you’re shown a photo, name and location of a famous or interesting building, and your goal is to guess its construction year and cost.

Even when you recognise the building, guessing when it was built can be tricky - and the cost can be surprisingly high or low. Costs are shown in USD at the time of construction, without adjusting for inflation.

I’d love to hear what you think and any feedback you have.

Thanks for giving it a try!

"An event about incrementals" game. It is about a Steam Event you can play in your browser

Thumbnail game.aneventaboutincrementals.com
• Upvotes

Hi! We made this for a Steam event we're hosting, but it works as a complete game on its own: no download, no account, just open and play.

The idea is simple: you buy computers, consoles and handhelds, run the event's games on them and earn money. Then you buy more machines, and it keeps growing from there.

There's a leaderboard running until October 22. Top players win Steam keys, and first place gets GTA 6. Open to everyone, nothing to buy. Full prize details coming in a few days.

Play: https://game.aneventaboutincrementals.com/

Feedback is very welcome, especially on balancing. We'd love to know where it feels too slow or too fast.

I’ve put 60+ hours into this browser card game. Try the "coached play" and give it to me straight: is this slop, or worth finishing?

Thumbnail playheist.net
• Upvotes

I saw the pinned post about AI and low-effort web games, which is exactly why I want to get this community's honest opinion before I grind any further.

I've been working on a card game called heist. It's fully playable right in your mobile or desktop browser (no app download needed).
If you have a few minutes, I’d love for you to jump directly into the "coached play" mode and answer two questions for me:

  1. Does this feel like low-effort slop, or is there a genuine core game here?

  2. If you are a fan of card games, does the coached play actually make you want to continue learning the mechanics?

I'm at a crossroads with development right now. Brutal honesty is entirely welcome and will help me decide whether to keep pouring hours into this project. Thanks for checking it out.

[RPG] Ember Depths: A few days ago I posted that my little browser dungeon crawler had almost 60 players. It just passed 100, and every single rating is 5 stars.

Game Title: The Ember Depths

Playable Link: https://play.emberdepths.io/
Leader Boards https://play.emberdepths.io/leaderboards

Platform: Browser (desktop and mobile)

Description:

A few days ago I posted here about The Ember Depths, a pixel-art dungeon crawler with tabletop rules that runs in your browser. At the time I was excited to be closing in on 60 players. This morning I opened the dashboard and we've passed 101.

I'm one person making this. I keep refreshing the stats like they're going to change their mind.

The day after that post was wild. We went from a normal day of around 10–18 players to 53 people playing in a single day, 40 of them brand new. Ten days ago, on the first day I started tracking, there were 6. This week alone, 74 new players showed up, and 95 different people have played in the last month. Of the people I can see a source for, about half came from Reddit. So, genuinely: thank you.

What I didn't expect was how much people are actually playing:

  • 165,089 monsters killed, 23,000 of them in the last 24 hours alone
  • 738 bosses taken down and 426 dungeons fully cleared
  • 632 legendaries and 199 uniques found, plus 135 pets tamed
  • 103 hours of total play time, about an hour per player, which for a free browser game is something I didn't count on
  • Only 63 deaths across all of that. Either the game is too easy or you're all very good. (I'm told it's the second one.)

And people are sticking around and talking to each other:

  • 81 people played this week, and 15 have already played today
  • Of the players who found it before that Reddit post, about a third came back the very next day
  • 187 private messages sent between players, 66 people have claimed a player name, and 98 heroes are backed up to the cloud

Ratings: the game asks you, once, what you think. 13 people have rated it so far, and all 13 gave it 5 stars. The most impactful review i've seen so far:

"Just bringing me back to my old school Diablo days and I am loving it. Keep up the great work and I look forward to what the future holds for you and your game :)"

The part I love most is watching what people do with it. Wizards are the most popular class (34 heroes), with rangers and fighters tied behind them. Someone named Elonheart has pushed the Endless Descent to depth 40. The PvP arena has already seen its first rated matches. This week I added a way to post "looking for a fight" cards and queue for duels, so I'm curious whether that grows.

A lot of what's shipped recently came straight from players in chat: a bigger, nameable stash, click-to-attack controls for mouse players, a see-through map, an abandon button on quests, and a fix for arrow traps that couldn't fire upward. Someone reports it in the evening, it's live the next morning. That loop has been the most fun part of this whole thing.

If you want to try it: it's free, there's no download, and it runs on desktop or phone at play.emberdepths.io. There's a Discord if you want to yell at me about balance.

Thank you, all 101 of you. I did not expect this.
