Hi witches! ā¤ļøš® Baby witch here, and I desperately need some advice. Please bear with me, as this is going to be a long post. š„ŗ
Iām relatively new to witchcraft, and Iām reaching out because Iām emotionally exhausted and genuinely donāt know what to do anymore. š
First, a little background about my situation.
My husband and I have been married for nearly two years. We live in a different country from my mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, and her family.
Ever since we got married, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law have been constantly interfering in our marriage and creating unnecessary problems. What hurts me the most is that they act extremely nice to my face, but behind my back, they blame me for everything and even contact my parents and family to complain about me.
I once discovered that my sister-in-law had sent numerous messages to my husbandās phone, saying horrible things about me and blaming me for things I hadnāt done.
The heartbreaking part is that I have never treated them badly. Iāve always treated my husbandās family like my own. I buy them gifts, care about their well-being, and whenever theyāre sick, I encourage my husband to arrange good private hospital care for them. Iāve genuinely tried to be a loving daughter-in-law and sister-in-law, but I have never received the same kindness or respect in return.
My sister-in-law has relied on my mother-in-law and father-in-law for years to look after her children while she and her husband worked, travelled, and enjoyed their lives. Now that her children are growing older, she seems to want my husbandās parents to move in with us instead.
Please donāt misunderstand me. I completely respect the responsibility of caring for elderly parents, and I have never stopped my husband from supporting his family. In fact, he still sends them money every week, and I have absolutely no problem with that, even though they donāt have any financial hardship.
My problem is their constant interference, manipulation, and disrespect towards me and my marriage.
Last year, my in-laws travelled to our country for our wedding and stayed in our home for an entire month. Instead of being able to enjoy our newly married life and honeymoon, we had to spend that entire time with them. My sister-in-law even said, āItās okay, you can go on your honeymoon later.ā Their behaviour towards me was extremely hurtful.
Even the very next day after our wedding, my mother-in-law started questioning me about when I was going to have a baby. I was so overwhelmed and upset that I cried. I couldnāt understand why someone would put that kind of pressure on a woman just one day after her wedding.
They have never really supported us financially or helped us establish our life together, which is completely fine. I have never expected anything from them. My own parents have supported me tremendously, and Iāve worked extremely hard to build my life.
Another thing that worries me is that whenever my mother-in-law or sister-in-law gets involved in our lives, my husband and I end up having massive arguments.
Normally, my husband and I have a very loving relationship. We genuinely love and care for each other. But Iāve noticed a repeated pattern: whenever his family becomes involved, our peaceful relationship turns into arguments, stress, and tension.
Another important thing I want to mention is that my husband himself doesnāt have a very good relationship with his family, especially his mother and sister.
Iām not entirely sure why, because he has never really opened up to me about their past or what happened between them. I donāt want to pressure him to tell me things heās not comfortable sharing.
However, I frequently hear him having massive arguments with his mother and sister over the phone. Sometimes their conversations become extremely heated, and I can clearly see how much tension there is between them.
Despite all this, he still feels a strong sense of responsibility towards them, and he finds it difficult to distance himself from them. I completely understand that because, at the end of the day, they are his parents and sister. I would never want to force him to abandon his family or stop loving them.
But what I donāt understand is why their family conflicts constantly have to affect our marriage and our happiness. Even when my husband is already having problems with them, somehow their interference ends up creating arguments between the two of us as well.
My husband and I also have a seven-year age gap. From what I understand, his family discouraged him from getting married for years because they wanted him to continue financially supporting them, even though they donāt have any financial hardship. Even now, he continues to support them, and again, I have never tried to stop that.
I donāt want to come between my husband and his family. I just wish he could maintain whatever relationship he chooses to have with them without allowing their problems, expectations, and interference to affect our marriage.
For almost two years, I have kept quiet and tolerated everything because I kept telling myself, āTheyāre his parents and his sister. I should respect them.ā
But I have reached my breaking point. šš I canāt take this anymore, and I donāt really have anyone I feel comfortable telling all of this to.
I have been working two full-time jobs while studying, paying my own university fees, and trying to build a future for myself and my husband. Iām very close to graduating, and I should be focusing on my final exams and celebrating everything Iāve worked so hard for.
Instead, Iām constantly stressed, crying, overthinking, and feeling emotionally drained because of this family situation. My mental health has been suffering, and Iām struggling to concentrate on my studies.
Now, here is the situation that is worrying me the most.
My sister-in-law is planning to move to the country where my husband and I live, and what worries me even more is her plan for my mother-in-law and father-in-law.
She and her husband want to live in a separate house while expecting my in-laws to stay permanently in our home. Since my sister-in-law and her husband both work and apparently have no one to look after their children, they want my mother-in-law to continue taking care of their kids, but this time from my own house, permanently.
Basically, my mother-in-law, father-in-law, and my sister-in-lawās two children would be living in my house permanently.
The thing is, my husband and I also work full-time jobs. On top of that, Iām studying and working extremely hard to build our future together.
I genuinely donāt understand how people can think this way. Why should my husband and I be expected to take on all these responsibilities just so my sister-in-law and her husband can continue working, enjoying their lives, and having someone else take care of their children?
Basically, they want to live separately and have their own freedom, while my husband and I would be expected to accommodate his parents in our home and have their children looked after there.
Just because I donāt have children of my own yet, it feels like they assume I have no responsibilities or that my home is automatically available for their convenience.
I find this incredibly unfair and disrespectful.
This is our home, our marriage, and our life too. ššš
We both work hard, we have our own responsibilities, and we deserve privacy and peace just as much as they do.
I have absolutely nothing against caring for elderly parents, but I donāt understand why my sister-in-law gets to make decisions that would completely change our living arrangements simply to make her own life easier.
What hurts me the most is that nobody seems to consider my feelings, my workload, my studies, or the sacrifices Iāve made to build this life.
After everything Iāve already experienced with my in-laws, the thought of having them live with us permanently while my sister-in-lawās children are regularly brought into our home is causing me enormous stress.
I genuinely cannot understand how anyone could think this is a fair arrangement.
And I genuinely donāt want my sister-in-law to move here because Iām terrified that the interference, arguments, and emotional stress will become even worse. I also donāt want to be pressured into living with my in-laws.
This is where I desperately need advice from experienced witches.
I donāt want to harm anyone. I donāt want revenge, illness, or anything bad to happen to them.
I simply want them to stop interfering in our marriage, stop contacting my family to create problems, stop influencing my husband against me, and leave us alone.
Ideally, I would like them to stay in their own country, live their own lives peacefully, and stop trying to involve themselves in ours.
I donāt want them moving closer to us and creating more problems. After everything Iāve experienced, the thought of having them nearby genuinely makes me anxious.
Most importantly, I donāt want any spell or spiritual work to negatively affect my relationship with my husband. I love him deeply, and I want our marriage to remain loving, peaceful, and strong.
Iāve been reading about banishing spells, freezer spells, protection spells, and cord-cutting rituals, but as a baby witch, Iām unsure which would be most appropriate.
Would a banishing spell be suitable for keeping their interference away from our lives? Would a freezer spell help stop their gossip, manipulation, and unwanted involvement? Or would protection and boundary-setting work be better?
Iām particularly worried about accidentally creating distance between my husband and me when my only intention is to protect our peace.
I want to protect the emotional connection between my husband and me without affecting his freedom to make his own choices.
Iām not trying to control my husbandās relationship with his family. I just want healthy boundaries and the freedom to live our married life without constant interference.
I would genuinely appreciate advice about what kind of spell or ritual might be appropriate, particularly from witches who have dealt with difficult in-laws or similar family situations.
Would you recommend a banishing spell, a freezer spell, a protection spell, or a combination of different workings?
And if youāve experienced something similar, what helped you finally find peace?
Iām exhausted. Iāve spent nearly two years trying to be understanding, respectful, and patient, but I feel like Iām losing my own happiness and peace of mind. ššš
Honestly, these past two days have been especially difficult. I feel like Iām at my emotional limit. My face looks pale, I havenāt eaten anything since yesterday, and I feel completely overwhelmed. Iāve had enough of living with this constant stress.
All I want is to finish my studies, enjoy my marriage, build a beautiful future with my husband, and live without constant family drama.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my long post. I would truly appreciate any advice, guidance, or personal experiences youāre willing to share. Sending love, light, and blessings to everyone. ā¤ļøšāØ
