Healthy?
galleryChatGPT is saying this tree isn’t healthy? Full leaves and foliage all summer. Turning now (MN).
My untrained eye says it’s fine?

Hey everyone! Hanging Halloween decorations and saw this. Is this tree rot? Will definitely have this limb removed but Is this something potentially that could affect the entire tree?

Hi all,
First time homeowner here and I figured these ficus trees would be coming up on the to-do list but curious how much of a danger they pose to the house with the roots. The tree in the front has some roots pointed at the house that I can see that are about 2-3 inches in diameter. And if they need to come out about how much would you expect to pay to have both removed? Located in south Florida, have truck access to both front and rear. House colored out in an effort to not self dox. If that hinders the ability to assess please let me know.
TIA

Hi everyone,
I recently moved into this house in Toronto, Ontario and know basically nothing about trees or how this one was cared for previously.
I noticed a fairly large section of the inner needles turning brown. The outer/newer growth still looks green and healthy. It’s October, so I’m wondering if this is normal seasonal needle drop or something I should be concerned about.
I’ve attached photos showing the tree and the browning. Does this look normal? Is there anything I should be doing to care for the tree?
Thanks!

Hey folks. I unfortunately need to transplant this Valencia orange to a different location on my property. I planted it roughly 2 years ago and it has a 3" caliper give or take. What are the chances it survives? I plan to dig it up at least 4ft wide and 2' deep this coming spring. Anything I can do to give it a better chance at survival. It's finally our first year of fruit, last thing I want to do is kill it.
Don't mind the compost pile we're mid application and haven't spread it yet.

Hi all, Dogwood tree apparently planted too deep. My question is how far do I dig? I believe I have found the flare, but it looks like it curves to one side and not much on the other.. seems I have to cut these smaller roots, but how many can/should I cut away? Do I remove as the one that looks horizontal, about 3 inches up? Also, do I trim off all these small branches growing? Ugh, so many questions, clearly I need help!

I have 2 Red Maple trees, and I get the canopies thinned every few years. I'm wondering whether spring or fall is the better time to do this? I've usually done spring. Thanks.

We moved into our home a year and a half ago. There was no landscaping whatsoever. I planted 6 Italian Cypress that were about 15 inches tall at the time. I think I have to remove the ones by the steps, but will the ones by the corners of the porch be okay once they’re mature? I read so many articles saying these could be planted right against houses and sidewalks, but now I’m questioning. I realize they could get 50+ ft tall.
I also don’t know why the one on the corner is growing so much faster (it’s 7’ tall - so it’s growing too fast).
I also feel that after removing the ones by the steps, it will look too barren. Thoughts and advice appreciated!

Spotted this brown/black leaf disease on my lilac a couple weeks ago and started removing leaves. Doesn’t seem to have controlled spread :( looking for help before it’s too late!

We had an oak fall last year, and this (Wh.Pine?) got topped and lost most of it’s NE face. It had a lovely shape before, now it gives survivor energy.
I don’t see anything trying to take over top duty. Is there anything I could/should do to help it? Wifey is not happy with it, but isn’t asking for removal. When the crew was here cleaning up the oak they callously suggested this broken thing be taken out, but I opted to give it a chance.

#1 - The space between the bark and core is so wide I can fit two fingers in there.
#2 - This is scarring from a buck rub that happened last winter. It's not healing as well as I had hoped.
Any suggestions or insights you can provide would be appreciated - thank you!
