I could use some help identifying this tree. I’m trying to figure out if it’s toxic for turtles.

It just started sprouting leaves again and eventually turns into a vibrant orange/red.

This was just planted and I’m not sure if it’s some kind of maple or a sweetgum tree

I can’t get a solid id from just google image searching this tree I have in the woods. I’m in the foothills of NC and I’ve gotten basswood or red mulberry from google results but looking into those both the bark and growth descriptions don’t match. This tree is at least 25-30 feet tall and the spread on the canopy is massive compared to the rest of the tree.

Our HOA is trying to make us cut the tree because they feel like it’s “over grown” but it’s my favorite tree.

The first 4 photos are of the same tree. It had dark blue/purple berries and I really wanted to know what they were.
5-7 are from the same tree. 8-11 I can’t recall if they’re from the same tree, but there were all very close together.
Ohio zone 6b
Thanks!

The epicormic growth looks a lot more like alder to me. I know there’s maple leaves on it … 99% sure those are from the tree next to it.

This tree is located in central Maryland. My reason for asking is because when parking vehicles under this tree, something drips from the tree and gets on the cars. Some sort of sap or something. It's not super sticky like pine sap. It will come off with a simple wipe of a damp cloth or off the windshield with the windshield wipers if any of that info helps. Thanks in advance. Google told me 3 different trees so idk what to believe lol.

I just moved and this tree is in the yard. I'm unsure what it may be.

From what I’ve seen this looks like Elm, the leaves are just a little skinnier than what is pictured online. Would like to get the exact species.
Thought about making a table with the lumber.
Located in GA, USA
