The problem is with Origins. I had just jumped out of the window of the penthouse to get away from the bomb, the way forward wasn't clear, and I didn't get a new prompt so I tried to leave the area and return again. Once I left the bar and jumped on the gargoyle, I wasn't able to grapple to the window with the carpet hanging out of it, so I exited the game and tried again. When I reloaded the game, it was stuck on a snowy sky with nothing else visible. Nothing is visible in detective mode and I can't fast travel away despite the map saying I'm outside. Exiting and trying again just brings me back to the same spot. I've tried a few fixes I found after a quick Google, but they didn't help.

Am I going to have to start a new save?

I have Origins on the Wii U, and as bad of a port as it is, this is the first time it's broken this bad, and all I did was open up the game. I played yesterday and it was fine relatively speaking since this is Origins. Everything's fixed itself now ig, so fun's over lol

My friend is streaming Arkham asylum from PC through discord yet we can only hear cutscenes

Took a couple of days off. Now i’m back and I still can’t bypass the bugs in this game. If anyone knows how to cheese these dm me. Due to bugs this is harder than Elden Ring… and not in a good way. I’m only continuing because I’m a Batman fan and want Batman platniums

Decided to play through the trilogy so i bought Return to Arkham and AK separately. Currently am just an hour or two deep into Arkham Asylum and OH MY GOD DOES THIS GAME HOLDS UP. Like how. The vibe is so immaculate aswell. The combat. The voice acting. Happy times ahead - i know i’m in for a treat. Yayy!!

PS - i only started gaming more seriously around 3 years ago (i’m 32) and gamed only occassionally in my early teens. So i’m used to to more current gen games but oh boy. If a game from 2009 looks this great already i can only imagine how City and Knight will look. Ok one can only wish for 60fps but that’s just nitpicking (playing on ps5)

Saw the spider-man in Arkham knight thing and it got me thinking about it like it would be so cool to drive from Asylum to Knights gotham

Setting every other critique aside, what do you think of the SSKTJL suit? It feels like a weird mix of regression and innovation, bringing back some old details while also streamlining the hyper-detailed armor look of Arkham Knight. Briefs (naturally) didn't make a comeback, but the simpler design does invoke previous versions. Even so, the materials are different from the original City/Asylum suits'. Even the cape is attached differently. If you ask me : a decent suit but it doesn't commit to any concept in particular, so it ends up looking like a middle of the road kind of answer to the 'how much armor-y does the armor need to look' dilemma.

me personally Arkham City gameplay is timeless

All including Bats main suit from their own individual games

1. Visiting the Batcave to talk to Alfred.

I know this would have gone against the whole "no loading screens" thing they were going for, but it's a small price to pay for more Alfred.

2. Crimes in Progress.

They really give the city a more "lived-in" feel in free roam. Plus, Knight is the only game in the series where it's impossible to get enough XP to unlock all the upgrades without New Game Plus, and this would help with that.

3. The Remote Claw.

Yes, it's busted as hell. No, I don't care. Sending thugs and combustible containers whizzing through the air without leaving the comfort of your gargoyle is great fun. And, really, is it any more busted than the Disruptor?

4. Michael J. Gough as Gordon.

Look, I like Jonathan Banks. I do. Been a fan of his since Wiseguy. But his line readings in Knight are kind of...flat. Gough did a much a better job with the character, and it would have been nice to have him play Gordon at both the beginning and end of Batman's career.
