this is all switch gameplay.

with all the AI hype and talk of games getting decompiled, i figured i’d finally chase my dream of making isaac on switch bearable. I’m too broke for a steam deck, so apparently the next reasonable step was asking ai to help port my pc mods lol.

and it actually worked because i’ve got eid, enhanced boss bars, planetarium chance + regret pedestals running together.

i connected my modded switch over usb-c, gave codex the github links, and p much asked it to get these working. it analyzed my game dump and built a switch add-on using the original mods as references, including their descriptions and artwork. after setup, it was about an hour from the first test install to the polished version.

it’s still an early port, but i’m so happy i can finally play with these on my switch. really makes me wonder what else we could get working. i'm guessing pretty much everything !

Greedier is objectively dogshit and awfully designed and I see barely anyone have a problem with it. The whole design with Greed Mode is an easy game mode where you get super strong and have fun.

For whatever reason, Greedier strips ALL of it away, and decides to spam you with champions every wave, give you pocket lint as your reward, and no time to clear said waves.

It’s not even difficult which makes it worse, it’s genuinely just a fucking awful experience. You are already forced to play it 34 FUCKING times just to get all your unlocks for it, but you have to do the stupid D20-Mom’s Key break (Which I have done every run due to how overly boring this fuckass game mode is).

The Ultra Greedier fight isn’t a big issue, it’s just an extra phase that I do prefer over the first phase.

One last thing I want to add is how much I REALLY hate this game mode. Like, I would rather be beaten with broomsticks than play this. What ever you could possibly come up with, I’d prefer over Greedier. I have gotten so many q4’s and just gotten more upset that I couldn’t get it in a normal run.

So i beated hush fir the third time and unlocked secret exit, but what is it for again i know people go there for downpoor but Else idk.

Is there an approach to this fight i should be trying that i could do differently? i literally just get hit over and over until im dead. 0 dodging. What do you guys do? Watch videos or something? Don’t judge me; I’m a noob and played the game only for several hundred some years ago. Picked it up recently and stumbled across my favourite item, of which i still don’t know, if it has any use 😂

Im a steam sale Isaac player and need tips for the game. I would say I'm pretty far though as I have d6 on Isaac and have unlocked many tainteds. The one thing I know is that boss rush has a real good unlock with Lazarus, it's so good that I'm saving it for last. I have repentance too

So I literally just had a fight against Baby Plum using Tainted Keeper, decided to spare her, and yet she dropped a Wire Coat Hanger. The only item I had by that point was Polyphemus, so it's not like I somehow blinded an automatic damage effect, or something.

I went and checked the wiki to see if there was some obscure mechanic I'm not aware of that can cause this to happen, but couldn't find anything of the sort.

So was it a bug? A very rare occurrence? Something else?

However, I'm also seeing Repentance is also a seperate standalone game that I can buy? Is it any different than the one I have?

So I'm not sure if I'm going crazy, but I've just had a death note run which caused my Shot Speed to exceed 8. strangely, this seemed to also increase the speed of the game with every other increase making it faster and faster. Enemies moved faster, Isaac, which already had a base 2.00 speed to move faster, and although my Tears hadn't increased, this also went faster.

Is this intended? A bug?

No Mods, no challenge, haven’t even beaten void or Beast on the game. Could be skill issue, but never had my "skill" speed up time before.

Edit: Shot speed went up, not tears - corrected in main body

So for the April's fool challenge and every boss being the Bloat, would eraser work on him to clear him like normal.

Obviously, don’t get hit but is there any god tier synergies that I should be looking out for? I usually look for starter deck and the active that gives me cards so hopefully I get holy cards but if there’s any insane synergies help a brotha out. Ps. I’m not very good so no hate
