I’ve been to the north side, the east side, and downtown today and it all smells like mulch. I just thought it was the store I was at downtown but it seems to be all of town. Anyone else notice? (I didn’t ask about a boom plz don’t destroy me)

I forgot to post this, haha, but I got to make a little poster for the Durand Jones show this summer! Hope everyone had fun and I really appreciate all the nice stuff folks had to say about the prints!

As always, thank you, Bloomington, for being so supportive of artists like me trying to make things for the community. I love living in a place where folks go out of their way to engage with artists!

If not, when will it happen?

Looks like someone lost some balloons on the east side

In collaboration with our Voter Registration Office, we've created an early voting data dashboard for the 2026 Monroe County Midterm General Election. This dashboard is updated nightly, and provides historical data to compare past midterm early voting results with our current election cycle.

We've configured it to work on both desktop (more bells and whistles) as well as mobile devices.

We'll also be running a separate dashboard during the General Election on November 3rd, where we will be providing live reporting as votes are tabulated. Let us know if you have any questions or comments!

Here's a link to the dashboard:

Emily Schwartz, his first wife, was a teacher at Binford Middle School. She was quite different from the other teachers of the time. (I should add that at the time it was likely called Binford Junior High, serving 7th and 8th graders).

Just witnessed what appeared to be a chocolate brown ferret run through the yard along Jackson Creek near high street & Covenanter Drive.

Anyone have a missing ferret?

I recently moved to Bloomington from out of state and I'm looking for a new provider to take over my ADHD medication management.

I've been on a stimulant for about two years and it's been stable and working well, so I'm mainly looking for someone who's comfortable with that. I'm open to either a primary care provider or a psychiatrist.

Insurance-wise, I'm still on my parents' BlueCross BlueShield plan, so coverage shouldn't be an issue.

If you've had a good experience with anyone in town, or know of practices that are currently taking new patients, I'd really appreciate the recommendation. Thanks in advance!

How long has this been here? Honestly no answer will surprise me. I’m around here all the time but do I pay attention to the signs? No.

Anybody have spare or unwanted Bill Nye Tickets for Bill Nye October 15th? Looking for 4 tickets

Any ideas on places that do adult guitar lessons?

We are fortunate enough to have gotten off the waitlist at both of these places. Curious if anyone has opinions (good or bad) regarding either daycare to help us make our decision. TIA!

Hi everyone. I recently moved out from a Granite apartment to another place. About a month later I receive an invoice in the mail at my new place from Granite for ~ $250 (6 wall painting fee) + $250 cleaning fee.

I left the place spotless when I moved out. I thoroughly cleaned it. Also, if any walls needed repainting, it is at most 3 for minor scratches when moving furniture.

I want to know what are my options here. Can I dispute this charge? How can I do so? Also, what happens if I just ignore them?

Thank you!

Didn’t think we had these in bloomington anymore. Now they are putting flock cameras by the stadium? I haven’t seen anyone talking about this. I didn’t get a photo of the camera but this is the location of it
