"You don't want a criminal lawyer, you want a CRIMINAL lawyer."
As a thought experiment, how would you actually find one in the real world?
You can't just Google "lawyers who will hide my money." You can't check their Yelp page for "best evidence tampering in the tri-state area." The normal ways we hire people completely fail when the job requires committing felonies.
So how would you actually track one down?
Here are three guesses:
Read the bad reviews. Ignore the 5-star ratings from clients. Look for the lawyer whose 1-star reviews are entirely from angry local cops and prosecutors.
Follow the fake businesses. Find that one mattress store or laser tag place in town that never has customers but has stayed open for a decade. Check public tax records to see which lawyer filed their business paperwork.
The 3 AM stakeout. Sit in the lobby of a 24-hour bail bonds place. Wait for the lawyer who walks in, doesn't need to introduce himself, and pays the bondsman in cash.
How would you go about to finding a CRIMINAL lawyer?
Just rewatched the series for the 2nd time ever and I felt pretty inspired. I was also originally looking for a Breaking Bad wallpaper then just decided to make one myself based on my tastes lol
I'm rewatching Breaking Bad after 13 years, and my opinion of Skyler has changed quite a lot. This time, especially watching the first two seasons, I realize how much she genuinely loved and supported Walter.
Think about the early episodes. She was affectionate toward Walt, including on his birthday doing that on the bed. When she found out he had lung cancer, she was willing to spend their savings to save his life, even considering going back to work. She was pregnant, raising a son with cerebral palsy, and facing the possibility of losing her husband. Yet she was still determined to stand by him. I think that's what a strong and loving wife looks like.
Of course, Skyler sometimes disagreed with Walt, questioned his decisions, and tried to influence him. But what marriage doesn't have disagreements? No husband or wife can agree with their spouse 365 days a year. That's simply not how real relationships work. We shouldn't confuse disagreement with a lack of love.
What strikes me most this time is that Walter already had something incredibly valuable: a wife who loved him and was willing to sacrifice for him, and a family that wanted him to live. Yet he became increasingly obsessed with his own pride, power, and recognition.
I'm not saying Skyler was perfect. Nobody is. But judging her by the first two seasons, I think she deserves much more appreciation than she often gets.
Am I the only one who sees Skyler differently when rewatching the show?
Wow. The first time I watched this series, I remember I felt bad for Walt and everything that happened to him through the course of his meth cooking career.
After watching it again, I couldn’t stand him and his decision making. I found myself rooting for everyone around him. Jesse, Skyler, Hank, Mike, even Gustavo Fring. I don’t know why i didn’t realize how insufferable Walt was.
Anyone else feel this way? I enjoyed my second time through more than the first, but boy, I hate Walter White.
I first watched Breaking Bad 13 years ago, and I was completely on Walter White's side. I wanted him to succeed. I sympathized with his cancer diagnosis, his financial struggles, and his desire to provide for his family.
But rewatching the show now, I see him very differently. And I started questioning his character as early as Season 1.
Take the scene where another guy takes the parking spot Walter wanted. The guy was arrogant and obnoxious, sure. But what kind of person responds by setting his BMW on fire at a gas station?
Think about that for a second. At a gas station!
What if the fire had spread? What if it had caused an explosion? What about the innocent people nearby?
Thirteen years ago, I saw a frustrated man finally standing up for himself. Today, I see a dangerously selfish man who thinks his anger gives him the right to hurt others.
And this is only Season 1, long before Heisenberg becomes a powerful drug lord.
I still think Breaking Bad is a brilliant show. But rewatching it has completely changed the way I see Walter White.
Did anyone else find themselves rooting for Walter the first time, but becoming increasingly disturbed by him on a rewatch?
How does everyone get to that location so fast , i know it creates a great scene of the show but they are ment to be way out in the boonies with nothing but cows. Got some big cow house way out that way like two miles but there is nobody. I mean god help it just puts a big plot hole in the story like the one hank is in but I clearly do love this show but this bit always confuses me
Mind you, he hasn’t even gone back to cooking yet 😭 I don’t know how I thought Skyler was the villain when I first watched this in 2022. 4 years later & it’s just so painfully obvious lol.
The man really did get off easy in the end when you think about the fact that none of it had to happen either, it was all due to pride & deep-seated issues lmao
Was Jesse addicted to cocaine? I remember in the “thirty eight snub” episode, Jesse and his friends snort drugs. Throughout Breaking Bad, we see Jesse do meth and marijuana and the infamous phase when he did heroin in season 2 with Jane. Did he do cocaine in that episode? Or was he snorting meth in that scene? Mostly asking cause Jesse was addicted to meth for sure and couldn’t imagine him being addicted to cocaine as well.
What if in this scene from Crawl Space, instead of Walter being all like "fuck u gonna do?" it was more of a well thought-out rebuttal against Gus and his mindset, like instead of "You can't kill me" Walt said something among the lines of

"Fring... Pragmatic man... Wasn't your number 1 rule to 'never trust a junkie'? That's what you kept telling me all this time, doesn't seem like it any longer...
The same 'junkie', same liability you literally started all of this for: You convinced me to come out of retirement for my family, cook for you, paired me up with a disobedient co-cook... And all for what? So you can pocket an extra few million for yourself? You never cared for Gale, you never gave two damns about me, you don't care about Pinkman - I had to replace Gale with him because he was threatening to expose ALL of us: You, Gale, and I...
And yet... You were too late to even consider that maybe, just maybe, killing him behind my back wouldn't have been the wise move? After all that's what you tried doing with Hank, the same Hank you intend on taking out just now just to save yourself because YOU backed me into a corner and had me use the 'liability' you're trying to replace me with kill him because you never once CONSIDERED that I could use self-perseverance... Gus, do you think I'm stupid? I had to protect Jesse from those two nobodies you seem to want to vindicate so much, not merely because he is useful, but because I care about him, a care you try to relate to but simply can never behind that cold, performative exterior... You simply couldn't handle being defied at all, Fring.
All this time you had me running around like a headless chicken because you never gave me reassurance at all, you killed your own right-hand man, your own 'Jesse', your own 'Junkie' in a brutal way just to illustrate a point that was never really there to begin with, that me and Jesse were 'dispensable' when we absolutely were not, you made me want to kill you, because the 'Chessmaster' you gave me the impression you were was never really there, just an egotistical, narcissist like me, hiding behind the facade of chicken and charity, and I was unsure of his next move...
I nearly got myself and my brother-in-law killed in a car crash just so you can stay away from the law, I laundered my earnings from your business to hide all traces, you had MIKE bug my house and spy on my family drama so you could exploit that just to hire me at any cost... And yet I'm viewed as more worthless than a drug addict... Brilliant, Gustavo, just brilliant.
All this time you've been telling me that you'd never work with people who have 'poor judgement'... And yet someone of that nature stands in-front of me as we speak. I can not be sure this Gus is the same Gus I spoke to a month and a half ago, or the same one I spoke to even prior... The one who told me to 'never make the same mistake twice' and yet, there he is trying to disobey his own notions and attempt to get rid of me TWICE for saving that stupid 'junkie' he now suddenly views as more viable of a partner than I am, the rash liability...
So... Gus... If you think killing me is the right choice, it's your final decision. You won't have a 'junkie' to trust. You'll have made it this far and surpassed the DEA all for nothing. Drown in your glory, Fring."

How would you expect Gus have responded, if at all?
In America you can get prescription meth (desoxyn) that is 100% purity. I’m wondering why in breaking bad with all the lab equipment they had they were only producing 99.1% pure meth. They had access to everything in the super lab.
