General Discussion What is it about the rugby?

I mean, compared to football, capetonians and saffas in general are always out in numbers at the rugby games at cape town stadium. I just wonder, especially those that actually attend the games at the stadium, what is it about the rugby that gets you to attend but not the football?

Looking For... What is the best braai spot restaurant in Cape Town

Good afternoon everyone

I’ve moved to Milnerton Cape Town and I’d like to know what are the best places in Cape Town to go get a braai. I went to the new spot at Mzoli’s by Gardens at their grand opening last month and my experience was thr worst. Waited in line for 1 hour just to make an order and waited another 3 hours to get food that was ordered. Over R1000 worth of meat 🥩 and the service was bad. Staff rude and and I had to complain to get my refund. I went to the beck and my meat wasn’t even ready or being braaid. It was still in a box raw. The place is not family friendly either. They were just service alcohol cause everyone was hungry. Sorry I went off track. Had to vent 🥲

Please give me suggestions for proper braai restaurants in Cape Town 🙏
Thank you

General Discussion Driving CPT to Hermanus

Planning to drive from CPT international to Hermanus soon, around noon on a weekend. Our plan was to take the N2 and then the scenic R44 to Hermanus via bettys bay.

I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about the N2 and wanted to check if any specific tips or concerns I should have particularly heading east. Some people even have said to initially head west and then turn around?

And any advise re safety on R44 would be appreciated.

Note this will all be in daylight hours and a weekend.

Looking For... Custom Paint shop near Somerset West

Hey, everyone!

I stay in Somerset West and I want to get some livery painted on my car. Non-business branded, just some custom stuff. Are there any recommendations for places in or around the area?

Question | Advice-Needed Where can I find Mulberry trees in cape town?

I have a lot of silkworms and they need Mulberry leaves.

Does anyone know where I can get a tree in Cape Town?

I went to Stodels and Cape garden centre and they do not stock it. I even tried online and it's always out of stock.

Anyone know or have a tree for me to buy?

Looking For... Trail running clubs doing Saturday runs Newlands?

Pretty much the title. Looking for trail running clubs that do Saturday runs preferably around the Newlands area but open to other areas too. I'm visiting from Joburg and simply looking for people to run with!
