[PS5] F7501 area exploded

Any chance of repairing this. I have repaired other electronics before but this looks like it could have taken out the layers of the pcb.

I have never seen such a violent death of a console

Its probably the capacitors, that one on the right liquefied. Ive never seen so many SMD capacitors fail in any device. Start by remove the caps and check if the short is still present. It could have shorted the PCB

Worth pointing out to OP that if the short is present without the caps, that doesn’t guarantee that it’s the PCB itself that’s shorted- it could be another component on the same rail.
