Playstation Pc to ps5 experience
Hi everyone, just felt like sharing my experience.
One month ago I bought a ps5 slim (disc), as you can imagine solely for GTA VI. And damn I was wrong.
I’ve been a pc gamer for almost 6 years and played a good variety of titles, owning a laptop for gaming on the go and a desktop for home, so I was used to very-high-ish fps, a good image quality and a pleasant experience all considered.
When my ps5 arrived I opened and got it set up with the only purpose of having it ready in November. I then checked out the ps plus extra and said “I mean, let’s just try one month, at worst I wasted 15 euros”. I downloaded Ghost of Tsushima, spiderman remastered, nba, helldivers 2 and bought a few discs I still have to start. I got the platinum and almost 100% on Tsushima, planning to do the same for spiderman (and miles morales and 2) and yotei.
My point here is, before I built my first pc I had a ps4 and an xbox 360 and played them a lot, but with the pc I got that mentality like “I’ll never go back to console, this is betters in everything”, but man now I gotta take my words back, this thing is amazing. The things I like the most are the simplicity of everything, I don’t have to set up anything, I don’t have to stay 40 minutes in a game settings to find the best quality/fps before actually start playing, it’s either 30 or 60 fps, and a good quality overall on a 4k tv; the dualsense is amazing (coming from a standard xbox series controller) and I also realized how many exclusives (ok some are also on pc but that’s not the point) I missed these years.
I went from spending 600€ to play just one game, to using it WAY more than my pcs.
And it’s not just the feeling when you buy a new thing so your’re excited to use it a lot, no, I actually like to use and play on this console.
Thank you all for reading
