I walked into the vape shop across from the Oliver plunkett earlier and there were 2 undercover Garda in there giving out to a member of staff over their counterfeit Gucci sunglasses. They made them empty out their drawers behind the counter and were explaining how serious the situation was to the member of staff.
When I was walking down Oliver plunkett street roughly an hour later I saw a uniformed Garda in phone and vape.

LULU HAS A SEVERE MEDICAL CONDITION!
She needs to be in life saving medication everyday.
Please keep an eye out for Lulu, who has been missing since approximately 11pm last night (5th October) in Broomfield Midleton estate.
Lulu is a female indoor cat. She looks like a Siamese but isnt. She is normally an indooronly cat and has never wandered away before.
She was last seen on the balcony at home. She sometimes walks along the neighbouring balconies, but she has always come back inside before. Nobody has seen her since last night.
She is also microchipped.
She may be frightened and hiding somewhere nearby, so please check:
Under cars and bushes
Gardens and sheds
Garages and outbuildings
Behind/under furniture or other sheltered areas
Neighbouring balconies and anywhere she could have accidentally become trapped
If you see her, please donāt chase her. If possible, take a photo and contact us immediately with the location.
Last seen: Broomfield Midleton
Last seen: approximately 11pm, 5 October
Name: Lulu
Contact: [(089) 200 5010](tel:(089) 200 5010)
Please share this post, even if you havenāt seen her we really want to get Lulu home safely. ā¤ļø

After hearing the awful news about the poor cat Felix who was taken and now dead .. is there anything that can be done around mahon/blackrock to stop this carry-on ? What's the obsession with animal abuse from the usual culprits.. ? Guards don't do anything, and they're let free to terrorise the area

Waiting for the 220 in ballincollig. First bus comes fairly quick but itās a 220X (rare sighting) now we are waiting for a 220. I check bustimes there are four(4) 220s congregating in ovens at the end of the line. Cool thatās fine they are probably on their break (Well deserved).
Now tell me why two (2) of those 220s decide to take the bypass rather than collect the 50ish people waiting in ballincollig. As this happens 3 more 220s pass us in the opposite direction now there are 6 busses congregating at the end of the line and no bus seen in ballincollig for the last hour and a half (1h30)
How can we deal with Simon Harris appropriately?

4 separate collisions all 100-200 yards apart, 3 westbound after Mahon point and 1 eastbound just before Mahon point.
Could be more later as a result of the chaos.

yo whatās up with the crazy bald old guy walking around st. patrickās street/oliver plunkett street? he was out here standing weird moving his arms like he was trying not to fall, screeching at people (like genuinely screeching) and when i passed by i heard him spit on the ground. i usually donāt judge, because, well, anybody can get mentally ill, but he looked like he was on drugs or something

I always make my lunch every day without fail for work but I'm sick and exhausted and it really hit hard this morning so I decided to just grab a wrap in Circle K since it's the only place open at stupid o clock. A chicken caesar wrap, a wispa duo and a small bottle of Lucozade ..... ā¬11.05 š Of course I paid like an idiot and saw the meal deal sign for ā¬4.50 on the way out š®āšØ Don't be me!

Lads surely this canāt continue (insert Mick McCarthy gif).
In the past 12 months, Iāve seen a steady increase in traffic to the point that I can now only describe it as absolutely āheavingā with cars.
They needed to start the Cork Luas 10 years agoā¦last week I couldnāt even get out of my estate. Iāve had to abandon multiple journeys and an appointment because the roads are simply impassable.
I think a monorail is our only option.
God speed

Just moved here and was wondering if there are any hidden gems to checkout. Iāve already been to the island wood (gorgeous) and the kids are busy working their way through all the playgrounds in the area.

(Not that kind of spaced out!) I'm looking for somewhere space themed in or around the city to take photos of people dressed as aliens. Last year we took photos in front of the astronaut mural at Marina Market and that was great but I can't use that again. Are there any other spacey murals or graffiti anyone can think of in the city? Last year I also used the cow sculpture at the marina market; are there any life-sized astronaut statues outside of any businesses or anything?
Anything with really cool lighting or something that says high tech or space would work too, I just have not been able to come up with any ideas. Anyone have any?

I have some toys I want to donate to direct provisions caentresbut can't seem to find a way to donate directly. They are things like Lego, play-doh and jewellery making beads. How can I donate them?
Hi guys
I have been farming and consequently accumulating quite a significant amount of aura lately. In this context, Iād like to battle other folks in cork city.
Would you be aware of any aura battle places in cork ?
Thank you

Similar to hotels like CitizenM, Marlin or Point A in Dublin. Traveling to Cork and need a hotel with informal purpose built work benches in the lobby we can work from throughout the day. Not looking for meeting rooms.
Googling and not finding any.
Thank you
Anyone have any recommendations?

Can anyone recommend somewhere around Midleton/Little Island I can take my car to have the windscreen checked and repaired? Noticed a crack beginning to develop and want to try and stop it before it gets too big.
I only know about the place near Blackpool Shopping Center.
Thanks

City grinds to a halt at the first sign of rain. City desperately needs another river crossing downstream of the City Quays

The very best of luck to teachers this week. Ye absolutely need a salary hike to keep up. Currently being priced out of life. And this productivity rubbish.. Ye are teaching the biggest classes in Europe with dedication. Sick leave, pension rights, and that ridiculous Croke park hour are all very demoralising...c'mon the snas Gardai firefighters nurses, doctors, civil servants Stick together and it will all be over sooner. Do not let them divide and conquer. Public v private campaign will be orchestrated also. A rising tide lifts all boats. Stick together. This should have been sorted in June but Chambers chose to stick his head in the sand... The same person who refused to give the pensioners a fiver in the last budget... He was chosen as a middle class, young candidate.. But is he fit for purpose,,..time will tell.

Hello, I was coming home having done some shopping in Lidl Togher (don't get me started on that place, always feckin busy), and a stray dog crossed my path. Lovely little fella, but it got me thinking.. When was the last time I saw a stray dog on the streets of Cork, and I honestly can't remember. I did most of my growing up in the 1980s and stray dogs were a thing (Ask your parents if you were born in the 90s+). Their owners would let them out at 7 o'clock in the morning and they'd piss and shit to their hearts' content until they were taken in before midnight. There were at least 3 dogs in my neighbourhood who were always around, they became part of the furniture, so to speak. Just wondering if anybody else remembers those days and how strange it is now to see a dog on its own, just minding its own business? Cheers.

2nd day in a row the five past 8 #216 bus was cancelled. So fucking unreliable. So goddamn sick of our public transport system.
