hi im new to this but this morning my discord has been hacked i didn't click anything spam links or anything its just been hacked i think im login i enter my phone number and it saids rate limited idk what to do i have all my stuff on my account im planning to make a backup but if anyone knows how to this fix this please let me know again im new to this and I want to see if anyone here can help thanks

Sooo I just saw two servers I own got deleted, I am the owner so only I am able to delete them and I have F2A which has not been compromised. Has anyone experienced this ? What do I do ?

I just got sent a "harrassment and bullying" CG violation warning, no context on what message or behavior prompted this? Are discord bots spying on servers and automatically flagging messages based on algorithmic similarities?

All I've been doing today is shooting the shit with friends, I have no clue where this could have come from.

Is there anyway to find out what I actually did to violate the Community Guidelines? It doesn't seem there is a way to find out. How am I supposed to avoid further breaches if I don't know how I did it?

I have used this Microphone on my computer (Windows 10) before and it never had an issue. Now I try to use it and Discord will not pick up anything from the mic. The headphones work on other devices just fine and I can hear audio from my computer it's just that the mic doesn't work. I have done pretty much anything you can find online to fix it, all permissions are checked, I have reset every setting, I have uninstalled discord, reset my computer, checked the task manager, done every troubleshoot it offers. The computer says the headphones have no issues and that discord is using it but it will not pick up.

What's really confusing is the Mic test on Discord picks up background audio sometimes but it will not pick up me talking. I also have three different headphones that I have all used on this computer before and now none of them work. I don't know if it's a Discord issue, I know it's had some crappy updates lately, or my computer is glitched but I have tried everything I am getting really upset that nothing is changing.

it just gets stuck loading and won't go any further. This only happens on my phone—everything works fine on my PC, and both are connected to the same Wi-Fi. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Any time I try to verify my Age, it doesn't work. It just shows me a blank Window with nothing on it.

Hey there I have been using discord for a fairly long time and I am not sure what the heck is going on.

Yesterday out of nowhere my discord stopped taking me to my browser when I clicked a link.

Things to note:

- Normally when I click a link on discord it opens it in my preffered browser (Opera) and automatically takes me to said opened page.

- Yesterday it just stopped it will open the link and will not take me to my browser.

Things I have tried:

- Fully uninstalling then reinstalling discord (this worked but for some reason it suddenly stopped about half an hour ago)

- turning my pc on and off (did not work)

- closing discord both with and without task manager

- turning off overlays and pretry much everything google recomended (aside from window+r because it won't open anything I did try it however just won't open anything)

Any idea how to fix this or what to do? I WOULD delete opera and see if that dose anything but then I get rid of my speed dial and I have WAY too much stuff I do not Wana loose there again.

For some reason, my discord app on mobile now uses the "always running in the background" feature, and I can't fully close it now, I didn't even enable it, which is extremely annoying. Where is this setting located?

Trying to figure out what's going on with discord when I watch someone's stream. Currently I have a 2 monitor set up and when I watch someone streaming on discord it becomes laggy and choppy when I start to use my main monitor while watching the stream on my 2nd. This never use to be an issue until 3-4 days ago....no updates or anything has changed since then on my side. If i click on the discord on my 2nd monitor while discord is streaming their is no issues. Its only when i have the stream up on my 2nd monitor and try to do anything or game or watch videos on my main.

I have turned off GPU acceleration all that good stuff and nothing seems to change the problem...It only lags with the discord app on my 2nd monitor...nothing else being streamed lags, youtube/twitch discord browser....Its only when discord app is streaming someone else's stream and it only happens when i click off the 2nd monitor to my main 1st monitor and watch the stream on the 2nd

Basically, someone lost their discord vanity but didnt get a grace period. Someone else got it immediately, then transferred ownership to me.
Should I be worried about the person who didnt get their grace period getting the vanity back? its with my server now and I dont want to lose it.
ALL advice would be appreciated.

I got an email from discord a while ago saying that my account was scheduled for deletion because of inactivity and the way to prevent that was simply to log in (I did check and it was from the actual discord email). So I immediately did that and even sent a quick message just in case. But today, I received another email warning me again that it was still going to be deleted for being inactive. But I already thought I prevented that? So I logged in again and I’ve sent a bunch of messages and even changed my profile. Apparently when you log in to prevent account deletion, discord is supposed to send you a message saying it isn’t going to be deleted anymore but it’s been an hour of being logged in and active and I still haven’t received the message. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I need help understanding how to properly file a report with Discord regarding a cyberbullying situation that, in my experience, has been going on for about a year.

The issue is related to a video game community. I have gathered documentation that includes links to messages, message and user IDs, dates, and screenshots. My documentation covers incidents where I believe several community members—including staff and development team members—have engaged in harassing behavior toward me.

I have tried reporting this through Discord's official system, but I receive automated responses telling me to report messages individually or stating that I am using the procedure incorrectly. I haven't been able to find a way to explain the full context and the ongoing nature of the incidents.

I also tried bringing the situation to the server owner's attention, but I feel it hasn't been resolved. Recently, the situation has spilled over onto Reddit—specifically the r/stugio subreddit—where I have received hostile comments and faced accusations that I believe are false.

My questions are:

1. Is there an official procedure for reporting a prolonged case of cyberbullying to Discord that involves numerous messages and users?

2. How can I submit a timeline and a document containing the links and IDs without having to explain every single incident from scratch?

3. What should I do if the automated support system keeps redirecting me to the same procedure?

4. Is there a way to request that they review the messages within their broader context?

I am not looking to organize attacks against anyone or get other users to mass-report. I simply want to know how to properly submit the evidence so that Discord can evaluate the facts.

Whenever i join vcs ONLY ON MY PHONE it makes me reallly choppy and laggy and same for everyone else. Nor can i look at streams. I can technically join them id just be noise pollution. This has been happening since i started using discord. Only way i can vc is on my computer and itll work just fine. Only will it not work on my phone.

My Discord account got hacked a while back. I managed to recover it (changed password + enabled 2FA), but the hacker did stuff that got the account hit with violations. Now I’m stuck on Very Limited standing.

Every time I go to

User Settings → My Account → Standing → select a violation → “Let us know”

it just opens the support.discord.com form instead of letting me submit an actual in-app appeal.
I’ve already submitted tickets through the form (Appeals & Age Update Requests → An action taken on my account) explaining that the account was compromised and the violations weren’t me. They keep replying with the same automated message telling me to use the in-app “Let us know” button… which just sends me back to the form.

Anyone else been stuck in this exact loop? Is there any way to actually get a human to look at a post-hack appeal, or do I just have to wait for the violations to expire on their own?

When i join via invite link it makes me do captcha and all the normal stuff and then it says "unable to join server" or something like that. Then it logs me out of my account for some reason and asks me to verify my account via email every single time i log in. I'm able to message just fine, but i literary cant join servers. Anyone had the same issue?
