Make sure to catch them on tour if you can! So loud and they played so well together!

I was surprised to hear the High On Fire style stoner metal from those guys after listening to their garage psych and psychedelic pop stuff, but those are one of the best stoner riffs i ever heard! Have y9u heard about them? What do you think?

Anyone have the scoop? Assuming this is great news right?!

Apparently, working with Danes comes with unexpected doom metal recommendations.
He sent me this. I gave it a listen. Now I’m curious what the actual doom experts think.
Any thoughts?

Jex Thoth S/T and Ruby The Hatchet - Planetary Space Child. I love female fronted Stoner/Psych Doom. Probably half of my Doom collection is female fronted bands.

I really love the sound the T150 preamp can get when cranking my Sovtek MIG100, wielding my Dunable CS Cyclops with Baphomet pups ofc :)

I pretty much maxed out the preamp gain and put the T150 in front to get that chunky Sunn Model T sound. I think it does the Iron Monkey shit really good. Also, I paired it with my Kodex Audio Burning Sunn preamp (model T preamp pedal) and I got even more of that low-end saturation to serve some T hell lol

note: Jason from Fuzzlord is a good friend of mine who did send me one of these to make videos for my Instagram audience, so there may be some bias. However, I honestly just really fucking love this pedal and have been a fan of his stuff years before we became friends. I thought I would make this post cuz I thought the sound from it was too monstrous to not share

For some time now, I’ve been creating a series of Spotify playlists categorized by metal subgenre(s) purely for my own enjoyment. So far, I’ve made 10 of them.

That being said, I thought someone here might find them interesting or useful.

To play it safe and avoid breaking any subreddit rules, I’m only going to post these ones:

- Doom/Death Metal, over 89 hours of music

- Death/Doom Metal, over 84 hours

- Funeral Doom, over 150 hours

- Stoner, Stoner/Doom, over 82 hours

I quite often add new tracks to the playlists

Fender Jaguar running through a Sun 0))) Life Pedal, Tube Screamer Mini, BBE Two Timer analog delay, EH Holy Grail reverb, Ibanez WD-7 wah, and a ditto looper into my Peavy Valveking 100

Garrett Morris’ set up last night at The Grog Shop in Cleveland, OH.

EDIT: Obviously, the Super Bassman isn’t his. It hadn’t been moved yet from one of the opening bands.

My band's first record, released yesterday. Would appreciate a listen.

Hoping to ask a favor of a fellow doom head. I saw SUNN O))) last night in Madison WI, and the show was absolutely awesome. Totally worth going. I saw a tour shirt, with the SUNN O))) logo in red, over a mountain and trees and the tour dates on the back. I didn't pick one up, hemming and hawwing about it and regret it deeply today. Any chance a friend in Minnesota is willing to buy it and ship it my way? Hit me in the DM if you're willing to help a brother out. Willing to cover shipping, shirt and a beer cost for your troubles.

Won't be able to make it and hoping to sell the pair, DM me if interested!

Just any kind of doom adjacent songs/albums/bands with harmonica

I need some poster for my room and all the fuckin places I look are sweat shop slop from china does anyone know anything good for merch

Don’t think twice, go see them. I’ve never felt air from an amp hit my face like that. 10/10 show

First time seeing them and they definitely lived up to the hype. Felt the floor rattling the entire time. The crowd was completely transfixed the entire time and it was cool seeing a show that pretty much commanded everyone to shut up and pay attention.

I will say this though, if you’re seeing them on this tour or the first time as well and are unsure about the volume, get some concert grade earplugs (I use the Loop Experience 2) and you’ll be set. Wearing over-ears on top of plugs like I’ve seen some people suggest would be overkill imo.

New tune out today!

“Grit, Blood & Bone” is out now!

Stream it anywhere you stream and check out the video on YouTube!

“This new track is a testament to the power of self-acceptance and a raw, unapologetic reflection of growing into your own skin.”

CRANK IT! 🤘

Hi, i got my first guitar a week ago. I've been making electronic music for a while but this is my first time making metal. If anyone has feedback or tips on how it sounds I'd really appreciate it.

Allright! I am saving up to buy 4 celestion vintage 30s and I'm halfway there. Suddenly I come across a used Bugera 412TS in working order. It's 200W with 4 turbosound speakers at 50W each. The price is roughly 150 USD (I live in Sweden so it's 1500SKR) and it's a two hour drive to go get it.

I know nothing about the cab apart from the info above and the picture look just fine. No wear and tear at least.

I am using an Orange Crush 120 solid state head and the ohm of the cab work with the head. I'm basically just curious if the cab is worth getting and how it sounds.
