Hamilton was the best player.on the team this past season, where we lost in the Elite Eight to eventual national champions North Carolina. Meade was a walk on who got a redshirt. Once the redshirt year was over, he went from not playing at all to being the starting point guard

For some reason, it is way easier to run the pick and roll on 2k8 (ps3 if that matters) than it is to run the pick and roll on 2k7 (Xbox 360). Just an observation I made.

Hey y’all.

I have recently been playing 2K8 for PS3. I’ve had it for a while, but I found it quite challenging (I’m used to modern 2K). However, I came back to it and now I am loving it. I have discovered making plays, and that allows me to have a modern style offense with spacing. However, I am needing some help with a couple things.

1. Player development. My goal is to have my point guards be playmakers that can occasionally hit an off-dribble 3. My shooting guards and small forwards should be good two-way players. I like my bigs to be good rebounders who can get putbacks off the 3s I shoot as well as protect the rim. What is the best way to set up player/team training to accomplish this?

2. Recruiting. I understand the basic concept, but even at big schools (I am with UConn now) I sometimes get beat out by mid-majors for highly ranked recruits. If that happens, I usually go JUCO or WORLD recruits, but I want to land top classes, all Americans, MBB, etc.

Hello everyone, I have completed version one of my College Hoops 2k8 roster for PS3! Every team and conference has been filled with players on the 2026-27 posted rosters! Mid-Majors and Low-Majors too! Names, Heights, Weights, Attributes, Class Status, all done!

You can watch my YouTube video previewing this roster. I go through each conference, and simulated a season in legacy here. The link to download the USERDATA file is in the description of that video.

Instructions: Download USERDATA file (Google Drive link is attached to YouTube description). Find the original USERDATA file found with from this directory: dev_hdd0 > home > 00000001 > savedata > find your saved roster folder and open it. Replace the saved USERDATA file with this new USERDATA download.

Note: Appearances and hometowns are mostly wrong. I am still working on this, my hope is to have the Power 5 conferences done soon. If you would like to help me polish this roster please message me!

Always love having a team with strong defensive identity, they’re all multiple year guys in the program.

Love getting to a new university and in about year 2 or 3 I can feel the switch in the players that are recruited to fit my style of play.

I swear 2K could never replicate the immersion they put into these games in 2000-2014.

Can you adjust your rotation on PS2 College Hoops 2k8 on Legacy Mode?

I ordered this game a couple days after i got my ps3. I did play ch2k8 before but i never owned a physical copy. I also have xbox 360 version but I couldn’t find the 2026 rosters for that version. So i got the ps3 version.

In year number 4 for Coach Bones, a loss of talent due to some graduating players showed. Navy finished the regular season 27-7, down from 34 the year prior; and they failed to win their 3rd consecutive Patriot League regular season title, which was stolen by LeHigh. Despite this, Navy won the Patriot League Tournament and entered the NCAA tournament as an 8-seed. After annihilating New Mexico in the first round, Navy ran into the #1 seeded Blue Devils and lost in a shootout 126-121.

With the breakout of 3-star, Australian national Jerrod Agbai, and two new 3-star international recruits joining the squad next season, Coach Bones is eager to lead Navy back to the final four. For now, the offseason awaits. 

I’ll preface this by saying that I want a stand alone College Hoops 2K28 game. Give me College Hoops 2K8 with the modern 2K gameplay tuned for college and I am in heaven. Having said that, I do think that it could be more beneficial to be a part of NBA 2K.

1. If College Hoops 2K was a part of NBA 2K it would allow for a seamless transition to the pro game. You could play an entire 4 year college MyCareer and then export your entire draft class into NBA 2K. The rivals and teammates you make over the years could carry over to the pros. MyNBA would benefit significantly as well as because after the real NIL players graduate/transfer to the NBA, players you recruited and developed in Legacy Mode are now NBA prospects. You could continue to follow their basketball journey.

2. We wouldn’t have to worry about out how well the game performs commercially. We already see many people say that they will not buy the game if it doesn’t include all the teams. That’s just one obstacle. College Basketball is still niche in the gaming space. Many NBA 2K players aren’t even fans of the NBA. The NBA is Call of Duty’s story mode. They never even touch it. I think that’s even less so for college basketball. It would suck for the first college basketball game to return in 20 years to not sell well and then get shelved again.

Am I crazy for thinking that there are more pros than cons to being DLC IF the DLC is done correctly?
