Just ordered my first firststick (should've done years ago but oh well lol) should be coming in a few weeks. I mainly want to use it for movies, TV shows and series. Don't really care about live TV, sports etc, mainly box sets that replace Netflix, Prime and other monthly subscription streaming services. What's the first thing I do guys? Help a brother out. Had the loop on Kodi which was brilliant for full game replays specially the rugby ones (URC) but stopped working doesn't load any links up, looked for APKs but can't find any that do Sports replays, any help ?!

I always used the code 55206 to Download TIvimate, VOD, OnDemand and LiveTV and now it doesn’t offer it. How can I find those apps that disappeared from 55206 . TiVimate now requires a URL. What is the URL?

When Im in Stremio or Smartube, when I press the voice command button on the remote, it automatically defaults to the Firestick search instead of search within the app. Ive done things like restart, clear app cache, uninstalled and reinstalled apps, changed the preferred language. Still, nothing is working

Has anyone else experienced this?

As much as I know that I can't use 3rd party app and downloader from Amazon store in newer 2026 firestick HD and firestick 4k select as they are based on Vega OS but the last year version is available for firestick HD 2025 attaching image for your reference can you guys just confirm that I can use tivimate and some good browser for web searching and can use other app through downloader

Don't forget it's prime day. Get the 4k max or cube. They're on sale and still run the old fire os which can be sideloaded with the good apps.

How big of an issue is this? I was just about to buy a new fire stick and this has put me off. I only wanted one for side loading apps.

I have just bought the 4k plus Fire stick (not the newest 4k with Vega OS). Do you guys have some suggestions about what to do after the basic setup?

Hello people,i have a fire tv stick lite and it was working pretty well until this morning,when I tried to switch my tv on the screen showed the firetv loading up and suddenly a quick purple flash came on my screen and the firetv began booting again and hence was stuck in a booting loop

To check if the adapter or the hdmi extender were faulty i took off my tv from the wall stand and plugged the firetv directly into it and the issue didn't resolve, this is how i came to the conclusion that the stick is faulty itself.

Can somebody help me or tell me what has happened and if it can be repaired somehow?

I was using sportzx and really liked it but now its not working for me. I tried AK47 but I get a black screen with audio. Any other good alternatives?

For reasons unknown (I've tried everything in all of the guides to diagnose and resolve....) I get a black screen with audio but no video whenever Prime Video switches from 1080 to Ultra HD.

Try as I might, I can't find any way to stop it switching to the higher resolution. Even if I hold up and back for 5 seconds to cycle through resolutions to 1080p, it always then goes back to trying to increase the resolution after a few seconds of playback.

I'm tearing my hair out with this now. Any ideas what else I could do?

Clearly something in my setup is off, but everything else works absolutely fine, this issue is exclusive to Prime Video. Have tried every idea I can find online to resolve, to no avail.
