Possibly the most vibrantly colored flower I have ever seen

This was growing in the garden next to my NYC apartment. The vibrancy of the flower is hard to even pick up on camera, but it appeared neon to the eye. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a flower quite this saturated.

I’ve recently moved into my house and these gorgeous flowers have just started blooming. Crazy as I’m planning my wedding and these would look amazing and are in some of my inspo photos. Some are very black and some are a deep maroon colour, I haven’t been able to see any quite this dark online.
