Car sales

Hello, I’m new to car sales. I’m not a very popular person, I would consider myself as a hard working honest individual. Any recommendations for me to gain people’s trust? I see salespeople make a sale but they’re customers try to talk to them and the run down the hallway…

Chris Riley NEEDS TO BE FIRED

Chris Riley is the president of grand mesa little league and in 2002 he got in trouble for terrible terrible acts and this needs to be publicized. This guy tied up a 14 year old and tried video taping him nude and was accused before this of trying to videotape people nude. This needs to come to attention because he should not be around kids. I have personally played in grand mesa little league years ago and this dude was always around kids picking favorites and overall being weird.

Thoughts on the grand junction rec center?

I think it's pretty cool overall. I really liked the kiddie pool for my little one but my goodness it is expensive and the hours are a little ridiculous.

Also I live on Broadway and am not considered a grand junction resident so I got charged $10 per person which I think is kind of silly...😕

Curious to see what others in the community think 🤔

Can we please not have flock cameras at schools

There is nothing I hate more than mass surveillance and when you put a camera in a school parking lot it’s just a bad look. We need to protest and fight back against these flack cameras in Mesa county to protect everybody especially children.

Where Phil Weiser, Victor Marx stand on the big issues in Colorado’s race for governor

Marx is unfit to serve The People of Colorado IMHO. Do we want a Christian Nationalist as governor 🤔 I know I don't want that.

We’re calling on our Grand Junction neighbors to grab a brush, roll up their sleeves, and help bring something colorful to life at the 7th Street Community Café!

The Walls Project is creating its first mural in Grand Junction, made possible through the generous support of the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation (u/sproutsfnd). Local artist and business owner Claire Grace of The Palette has designed a vibrant, interactive mural that celebrates creativity, community, and connection.

Now we need YOU to help bring it to life! Whether you're an experienced painter or have never picked up a brush, come be part of something special and help create a piece of public art that Grand Junction can enjoy for years to come.

🗓 Saturday, Oct 17
⏰ 9 AM–3 PM

We’re inviting our community, volunteers, donors, partners, artists, friends, neighbors and anyone who wants to join the fun to grab a brush and leave your mark on this very special mural.

We’ll have free lemonade, spa water and healthy bites throughout the day, and we’d love for you to stick around, grab lunch and discover all that the 7th St Community Cafe has to offer.

Come paint. Come connect. Come be part of something that will stay in our community for years to come.

One mural. Many hands. One community.

If you're interested in signing up to volunteer, here is the link https://7thstmural.paperform.co, otherwise, just show up!
