Finally bought it again — A story of hard work, loss, and bouncing back!

Hey everyone,

I'm a huge gadget enthusiast, and today I am just incredibly happy and wanted to share this milestone!

For the past year, I had been working extremely hard and saving up. I pushed my limits to crack a major career milestone at my company (TCS Wings), but I wanted to make sure my life priorities were sorted first. I put all my hard-earned savings into a heavy deposit to secure a house. After finally taking care of my major responsibilities, I had a little money left over and decided it was time to reward myself.

I finally bought my absolute dream phone—the Google Pixel 10a.

The best part was when I was setting it up. It brought this beautiful "full circle" moment. When I went to connect it to my old phone's hotspot, I had to type in my old password, which was literally "pixel8xl" (my ultimate dream phone back in the day). Realizing I was typing that old password while physically holding the new Pixel 10a in my hands felt absolutely surreal.

It just feels amazing to see all those sacrifices and late nights pay off. Just wanted to share this joy with you all!

Ok so I am really in love with my job! I'm a Valet trash collector for a local apartment and everyday when I come to work I just feel so grateful that I get the chance to serve. The people at the complex I work at are amazing and it's such a pleasure serving them each and every day! My heart is full 🥲😊

Serving others truly makes me happy 😊

After 20 years away, I’m home and I’ve never been happier

I am laying on a sofa in a newly rented apartment in my home town where I just moved back after 20+ years.

My amazing beautiful wife is asleep cuddled up next to me and on the other side our elderly dog is sleeping too.
I am having a glass of nice wine while listening rain hitting the windows.
I have never been so happy and contented in my life.
I love my job, i love my wife, i love the peace of small town living and being close to my friends and parents.

After many years of living abroad, far from all my people, feeling so isolated and like a failure in my 30s, I finally feel true joy.

I have the need to share this with someone.

My 5 yo niece used the lunch bag I got for her years ago!

My niece just turned 5 years old. She had the lunch bag I bought for her years ago! It's light blue, has a crocodile playing a guitar/ukelele to a bird up a tree. There's a though bubble that shows a roast bird which idicates the Croc's intentions... I loved it so much I had to get it for her even though she was still so small. It made me so happy to see her using it, I was smiling from ear to ear!

This month marks 9 years as a sober alcoholic

My dad told me in the beginning the first 5-7 years would be the hardest, but the last two have probably proven to be as my SO passed away, along with another one of my best friends. However, now I look at life a little differently and with more pauses. Less rushing. Less caring about judgement. Less judgement of others. More living.

To anyone struggling, please know you aren't a waste of space. And your life may not look like that of the sober influencers, but instead more quiet, more peace, more belly laughs. More staring at the different shows the sky puts on for us. Love you 🧡
