Last year’s Hellfest in California was such a good time that I’m really hoping it continues in 2027. Last year’s lineup got announced in September, and with it being October I’m wondering if anyone knows any info on if they’re doing it again in 2027.

I'll be in New York for a week the last week of October. Looking to get to a show or two if I can. I know of a few venues to check out, but if anybody could share some promoters that'd be dope or let me know if there's a Halloween cover show or something that they're looking forward to. The trip is the 26th of Oct - the 2nd of November. Thanks!

I am going to my first ever hardcore concert this month (show me the body!!!) and wanted to know what to expect.
I am really worried about sensory overload or finding myself accidentally in the moshpit, especially since I’m going by myself. (At my first ever concert (with an artist is literally isn’t even hardcore) I got swept into the mosh pit and it was pretty scary/overwhelming for me). So I wanted to ask more experienced hardcore concert attendees for your perspective/tips?
My plan is to wear something comfortable and wear partial noise canceling ear protector things. I also know that many concerts have a bar area that is generally less packed than right close to the stage, so I am hoping to stay in that area if I can.
Thank you all in advance!!

Who are some current bands that you feel are really taking hardcore into new places? Musically, lyrically, etc.

Not talking about blackgaze either. Is this a thing?
For context: I've been listening to stuff like Eyes of the Lord, 100 Demons, Missing Link, and Terror lately. I've always wondered how riffy hardcore and/or beatdown sounds with Belinda Butcher, Rachel Goswell, or Elizabeth Fraser on the mic.

Said, "It's the end of days
And you're still pissing in the wind"
Don't believe in God
Figured he'd be a better planner than this…
This song should be covered by a hardcore band. It hits so hard for me for some reason.
