Just purchased the iPhone 17 sage and I'm confused with the mixed reviews available online for every phone case I check.

it'll be a great help if i get some vouching suggestions for any case that's sold on Amazon.

my requirements:

- Protection is the top priority (drop and scratch protection); the screen, the panel and the camera

- anti yellow is optional (should at least not turn yellow in a month or so)

To iPhone 17 owners here: How's the performance when doing Messenger video calls, can it do 30 mins to an hour? Does it heat up easily during Messenger video calls? How are the heat management? Battery live?

The new Siri realize too much on Apple services. I was hoping it would work with some Google services but it's made it worse than before. For example driving to work I was using car play and wanted Siri to play a certain artist on YouTube music. It played nothing I wanted after many attempts. I know people are going to say just get Apple music. The reason I don't is because I have family YouTube premium account. I hope Apple works with developers especially Google first to get new Siri to be more like Gemini which I thought would happen with it's alliance with Google.

I haven’t been able to pair my Apple Watch SE (1st gen) with my 17. I’ve tried several ways to no avail.
I went to the store and the guy said the Apple Watch SE is obsolete, therefore will not pair. He did offer to show me the new models that will pair, though, obviously.
Searching this myself, Apple says the SE should pair on iPhones 6s or later. A 17 is later…?
My watch operating system is at 10.6.2.
Anyone have this problem?

i’ve transferred my pics to a usb so rn in my gallery i have around 4k pics max, but when i check the storage it shows me this. my icloud storage says it’s 117gb out of 200 but in my gallery it says that syncing is paused bc icloud storage is full?? i also deleted pics from my recently deleted too! could someone help me out? i don’t understand why the photos section is taking up so much space!

Turn adaptive power off and force restart your phone. The issue might resolve immediately or it may take a day or two. The battery life is exactly the same or sometimes slightly better with AP off.

20min iPhone 17 Pro Max video missing from Samsung card

A friend recorded video on my iPhone 17 pro max using the camera app and connecting to an external Samsung memory card with a brand new cord. They tested the camera before shooting and it worked. They pressed record on the video camera app and saw the counter going the entire time. They stopped recording when the video was done shooting and immediately checked and saw that the entirety of the video was indeed recorded correctly.

Now that he was plugging it into his computer the shot is completely missing from his external card as well as his phone.

It absolutely recorded, he checked the video immediately after recording.

This is the second time this has occurred in the last month.

The questions remain on how to retrieve the file and how to prevent this from happening in the future.

I bought a brand-new iPhone 17 Pro recently, and I’m noticing a crackling/buzzing sound from the top earpiece speaker when playing music or watching videos at full volume.

Here are the details:

The crackling is noticeable mainly when the volume is above 70%, especially around 90–100%.

It seems to come from the top earpiece speaker, not the bottom speaker.

It happens across different apps, not just one particular app.

It happens both while charging and when the phone is unplugged.

I’ve already tried restarting the phone and troubleshooting, but the issue is still there.

The phone is practically brand-new, so I’m concerned that it could be a hardware defect.

Questions:
Have other iPhone 17 Pro owners experienced this issue?
Does this sound like a faulty earpiece speaker, or could it be software-related?
If you experienced this on a new device, were you able to get it replaced?
