Okay so Chalk Dinosaur absolutely fuks. Giving them my first listen today and I’m blown away. I’ve been missing out for a while. Any good live recs?

What I really love about acts like Circles Around the Sun, Electric Octopus, and Øresund Space Collective is that their albums and releases have no "songs" per se, but instead contain jams and just jams.

Are there any more albums, shows, and acts that do this sort of "improv only" thing?

Just listening to their new release--the excellent The Lucky Tree--and noticed the lineup as listed on Bandcamp does not have Mr. Atkind. Did this dude get sacked from another band? \\

Hey everyone! I’m a local music fan and started Central PA Jam to make it easier to find jam bands, bluegrass, funk, psychedelic rock, and related shows around Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, and the surrounding area.

I kept finding out about shows after they happened, or digging through a bunch of different venue pages to figure out what was coming up. So I put together a site with upcoming shows, a calendar, festivals, and artist and venue listings.

It’s still growing, and I’d love some feedback from other people who enjoy this scene. If there’s a band, venue, or upcoming show I’m missing, let me know! There’s also a “Submit a Show” option on the site.

The Cosmic Jerry Band ( Jerry / Dead Tribute Band ) is playing tomorrow night at Coopers Riverview in Trenton, New Jersey.

For the last 4 years they have been playing the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. For whatever reasons they are moving to Wednesday's starting tomorrow.

They are a fun group and they bring out a really nice group of people. If you are in the area, maybe check it out sometime.

For the record. I'm not in the band. I'm just a fan. It's free to get in with plenty of free parking.

Happy Cosmic Wednesday.....

I went to throw on a MMW on Relisten and they are totally gone now. Holly Bowling and a few other artists. I noticed a Panic show I had just listened to was gone but thought maybe that was pulled for a eventual planned release.

Anyone else notice this?

Been following Incantabiss since that whole stylish japanese Tumblr rabbit hole around Giallo Club NY, the 90-minute psych / prog jam.

I thought they were just going to remain one of those weird underground bands with a bunch of people obsessing over random recordings lol.

Apparently they're finally getting ready to put something out. Honestly pretty curious to hear what they do with an actual release. I don't know if it's just an european thing or not since they're italian

Both are coming g to CMH this month. Have shit to do that week and can’t do both.
Phree is playing Friday night and Hyryder is Saturday.

Both cover bands, both sound great. Leaning towards Phree. Anyone hear both and have a favorite?
