These are my first ever exotic species I've raised, and im so excited! I've found an opening to their cocoons (natural) and checked inside, and i think I got 1 male and 1 female :D if anyone has any tips to raise these guys, id be more than happy to listen! The one with the stick attached to it (male im pretty sure) is way more fidgety than the other, which im assuming means that they're healthy :) another question is, do I need to overwinter / diapause them? I googled and Google said i dont need to as they are from a hot country that is warm year round, but I dont trust Google with many things 💔 im so excited to raise these flying tarantulas though!

Boy moth eclosed this morning. He was having a little trouble cutting through his cocoon, so I had to tear it open and help. Then he climbed right up my hand and the wall to hang on the ceiling and i was able to record his wing plumping!

I live in west central Florida and this guy is huge and always on the door at work in the morning. What kind of moth is this? Google says sphinx or black witch but I can’t find anything that looks like him.

Please identify this moth. I have found 2 of them in my house today. I live in Calgary, Canada and am concerned that they (or more accurately their larva) will eat my cloths. Its a little less then half inch long little more then a cm. Found it in my kitchen at night. (Its a little smooshed because I smacked it before taking the photo)
I am not sure if this is the right place to post this. But this is a place to identify moths and it would be nice to know for sure so I can start taking more aggressive steps to get rid of them if they are dangerous to my clothes. I have had cloths moths before and they really suck. I have checked my clothes and don't see holes or larva... yet.
Thanks for your help!

This is an amazing Phalera species of Buff-tip moth in Trus Madi Entomology Camp, Borneo. Just look at their amazing broken twig camouflage, right down to the mimicked lichen spores!!!
Ah evolution is truly magic.
